$17 for 2 glasses of bottled water? $17 for 3 tbps of bone marrow butter? Seriously??? Waiter gave no indication that we would be charged extra for these or of the outrageous prices for these add-ons. This totally outweighed the good quality of the food.

This was my first time dining here, and I was thoroughly impressed - especially thanks to Tania, who made the evening truly special. I was celebrating my partner’s presentation at a conference and Tania picked up on the occasion right away, bringing a warm and thoughtful energy to the entire experience. The tuna tartare was a standout; fresh, balanced, and beautifully presented. Tania recommended an N/A wine that complemented my experience perfectly, and her attention to detail throughout the meal was flawless. Exceptional service, great food, and a genuine sense of hospitality from both management (shout out to Tati, Matthew, and Mike!) and staff. We’ll definitely be back!

Filet and branzino were delicious as was my pomegranate martini. Which we could eat like that all the time. A truly special experience.

Reviews Mastro's Steakhouse On the day of a 50th wedding anniversary for one of the couples in our party, we were struggling to find a steakhouse as requested by the couple that was within our price range and could accommodate reservations for 6. We are so fortunate to land on Mastro's!!!! From the first contact to confirm reservation, to arriving at the restaurant and the entire table experience, the couple and the entire group was treated so special. The Anniversary couple felt especially celebrated with the personalized menu wishing them well by name. The food was delicious and prepared to perfection. Thank you so much to our waitress, Molly and manager(?), Bryan and all the other wait and cook staff that took care of us. From the cocktails, to the shrimp cocktail that was beautiful and dramatically presented, to the chopped salad that practically served the whole table, to the wonderful bone-in ribeye, bone-in strip and filet and scalloped and twice baked potatoes, everything was so yummy with plenty to share. Then to top it all off, the dessert platter!!! Wowzer! The restaurant is beautiful and the live music was excellent. We all left with a wonderful memory and as my husband would say "with food blisters". Lol!! Thank you, Mastro's! A must visit in San Francisco!

As expected, perfectly cooked steak, scrumptious sides, nice bold cab and phenomenal service (from Lily and team!). Mastro’s didn’t disappoint. Thanks for a wonderful solo dinner experience!

Dawn, our server was lovely and knowledgeable of the menu, at every point in our dining experience we felt fully taken care of and had such a great time. The food was amazing and our favorite was the 30 day dry aged ribeye. The live music was so special and just 5 stars all around.
