Mastro’s has been on my list to visit for quite some time now and we could not wait for things to reopen. Today we decided to celebrate my daughter‘s birthday. The food was amazing although it did take a long time. Our waiter was super amazing —named Ronny. However the heaters did the room no justice. We were freezing. There were doors that lead directly outside with signs for people not to open however people came in and out anyway. I alerted the manager of the issue and he replied that he could not do much about it. We tried to make the best of things but I have to say it wasn’t the best in terms of ambience. We visited STK about a week ago and there simular outside setting was completely up to par. And might I add they were outside, had NO doors and We were beyond warm!!!

Went for my moms birthday food was a bit pricy but well prepared and memorable I must be honest that they said heated tent and I thought I would be sad but it was freezing cold my legs went numb hopefully it this changes

Outdoor seating in the tent was freezing!! Tent heater did not work well!! Felt like the same temperature as outdoors!

We sought an early reservation with outdoor dinning to celebrate a birthday, however, there were several other seating options, when another party showed up, they were placed close to our table instead of staggered which I thought was inconsiderate.

Experience was horrible. The outdoor patio dining needs to be more organized. The heaters were barely heating. Everyone was eating in their coats. They sat us by the door which opened and closed every 3 minutes. The minute the food went on the table it started to get cold. Terrible experience for such an upscale restaurant.

It was my boyfriend’s birthday and everything was special. Perfect dinning experience amazing time!!

Always Amazing. Crave Mastro’s cocktail shrimp on a regular basis. Christian makes us feel so special. He is a huge part of our dining so often. Pretzel bread warm and scrumptious

The tent was not properly socially distanced and heating was not that great. Everyone was wearing their jackets.

In the time of COVID, the restaurant did everything they could to cope with impossible circumstances.

Took my lady there today for the first time and had a blast! From the service and mellow tone and clean place were a booster. The appetizers were outstanding...got my LADY drunk for the first time on martini...she had a BLAST!! the only thing I didn't like was that the food was a bit burnt so it was a bit hard to go through it but the overall service was amazing. The Sautee scallops were incredible...to end it all, the price was worth it and the place is top notch.

It was enjoyable.

Steak was in my top 5 and I have been to some of the best steak houses in the world!

Went for my wife’s birthday this is hands down one of the best places in all of New York City the food is immaculate the drinks are spectacular the service is top notch the music and ambiance is amazing

The music was entirely too loud and I asked them to turn it down a touch but it was a lot. Food was decent. I’ve eaten at the mastros in CA several times and it was same quality. It’s turned very urban style IMO with loud dance music. We went on a Wednesday.

The food was great!!! So was the service!! Obsessed!!!!!

Everything was great especially the rack of lamb, took a little long to get the birthday cake but other then that fabulous.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. My husband and I love trying out different Steakhouses in the city and all over Nee York state and I have to say this was one of our fav places that beat a lot of over rated and overly pricey steakhouses. Highly recommend Mastros steakhouse. We also loved the live music they had on the night we went! Thank you Mastros for making my husbands birthday dinner an excellent experience. Bartender was super friendly and attentive too!! 🎊🎂🎈

Top notch treatment from staff, from making reservations, to service & everything in between. Delicious food served in a timely fashion & in portions bigger than most restaurants on the high end level such as Mastro’s. Great ambiance. Positive, welcoming & attentive experience from server. Quality live music was the cherry on top of a superb dining experience.

Ivan was our waiter. Professional and kind. He took the time to speak with us as we asked questions and didn’t hesitate to provide the service I’ve come to know from this establishment. He made me want to come back the next day. The food was better than I remembered and my experience left me with a honey taste. Thank you.

Everything was amazing.

Overall we have a great experience. Our server Michelle was very helpful and went above and beyond to help us. We were saddened to see that some standards such as the 12 oz filet, béarnaise sauce, brussel sprouts and chocolate layer cake were no longer offered (some of the things we care specifically for!) but the 8 oz filet, garlic mashed potatoes, creamed spinach and bread were all delicious! The singer was very good as well and it added a nice touch without being over the top.

It was wonderful, they catered to me and my guest well. Lovely!
