After making a reservation our table was in a very lousy place close to the emergency exit doors in a very ugly meeting room. I saw people leaving/exiting when they were shown their tables.
I loved Mastro’s but after this experience I will rethink to visit this place again.
Lady’s at the door were of no help.
Only issue was that we showed up at 8:05pm for an 830pm reservation and didn’t get seated till 9pm. We had checked in a few times and every time we were told they were getting our table ready and in the mean time others around us were getting seated even thought they had arrived later than us. Magically at 9pm when I went back to ask again, they sat us right away at a table that had been open the whole time we were waiting. Ha ha.
The place was packed so I think they were overwhelmed or something. It was a mess. But food and service were great once we finally got seated.

Food was worth the price tag. Vibe was beautiful.
They were slammed. Didn’t get seated until 30 minutes after our reservation time but the wait was worth it. The employees were hustling and service was fantastic. Splurge for the lobster mashed potatoes. They are life changing.

Maestro’s is by far one of my favorite steak houses. Their wine list is phenomenal. They refer to it as “The Bible of Wine Lists”.
If you ever get a chance to eat there you have to order the Seafood tower and the Tomahawk Rib Eye Steak.
The staff treat you like royalty. Be prepared to spend $$$$. Our bill was over $800. That included 2 bottles of wine. It was worth every penny. 🥩❤️

Mastro’s in Houston was AMAZING!!! The customer service was excellent! Huge s/o to our waiter Chris. The ambience was beautiful. We had a table right near the waterfall. It was beautiful. The food was great. Very well seasoned. Chris was very knowledgeable about what would make our food experience even better so we adhered to his suggestions and he was absolutely correct. The side are big enough to share among two people. The steaks are great. The drinks are great. This was my first time going and I will definitely be going back again!

It’s was a beautiful experience
My husband and dined in on Valentine’s Day for our 15th anniversary. The server was awful and the salmon was awful. Our dining experience was definitely ruined. I feel like this place has potential so I would come again.
