My husband and I had a great time overall. We sat by the water feature which was nice but it was a little hot being that one side is open to the outside. Our waitress was very pleasant and knowledgeable. The food was very good and it was served hot and everything seemed fresh. Great experience overall. I highly recommend.
Father’s Day dinner. Good and service were great. My only complaint were the flys and mosquitoes inside the restaurant busing around as we tried to eat.
My family and I were seated in an outdoor space which I didn't necessarily prefer. The flies were annoying. I would have appreciated the inside because the ambience was better.
We went to celebrate Father’s Day and had horrible service and the food was mediocre. They packed us in like sardines and I personally had to keep asking the server to do things for me that should have been customary. We ordered a bottle of wine for 4 out of the 5 in our party but the fifth person was never offered anything else. We had to ask for salads and no one refilled our wine glasses or the ice tea that was ordered. The steaks were very average at best and the only way to get the flavor profile you would expect from an upscale restaurant was to pay for an enhancement. Don’t worry it’s only an extra $15 or more. Then to top it off, when you needed to take a “bio” break you couldn’t even do that for free. Someone thought it was a great idea to have a bathroom valet to hand you soap and a towel with the expectation of a small tip. Very disappointed in my experience this evening. Sad thing is no GM ever came to the table to make sure we were having the best experience of all time. I will definitely share this experience with all my colleagues and friends and be sure to take my $750 somewhere where it will be appreciated.
Our experience was SUPERB! From the moment we walked in we were in awe. The experience, the food, and the atmosphere was fantastic. We will definitely come back.

It is rare the you are blessed to dine in an environment with ambiance and good tasting food. Mastro’s embodies both and more importantly, the staff is exuberantly tentative to your needs yielding premier service throughout all touch points. We had to wait 40 minutes for our table and had made reservations weeks in advance
We went on a Thursday at 830 p Mastros was packed. Our table wasn't ready which made us late for the other plans we made. It's probably amazing when it isn't as crowded but now that I've experienced it I don't have to do it again I wouldn't miss it.
We've been to Pappas bros and Vic & Anthonys but we wanted to experience a new restaurant for our 7th anniversary. Mastros is high energy! Everything about it screams pinnacle, over the top and luxury. We were both pleasantly shocked by just how high the steakhouse bar has been set by Landrys! Food was stellar and sides were much larger than sides at other prime steakhouses. Lobster mac is probably large enough for 3-4 people. We requested the addition of bacon to our brussels and wow were they spot on! Just enough crisp and tenderness. Filet with truffle butter was the best I've had. Service was equally high and having a very personable and professional server like Gian was refreshing. Being industry myself I appreciate a server that adapts to his guests since thats what i also do. We've had a snob server elsewhere and thats no fun. Their old fashioned recipe is near perfect and I would know since I get it everywhere with Basil Hayden and a big cube. Wine list is ridiculously awesome with wines for every budget and occasion. Halfway through we already decided on returning for my moms bday. This is the first place that my wife has said has exceptional service. Attention to detail is unparalleled. Theres more but i don't want to spoil it for first timers. If you enjoy next level dining experience, then go to Mastros! See you in august Mastros!
steak was poorly prepared, loud and not a good place to enjoy a meal. And maybe cool it on the pay-for-play that follows you out of the establishment upon you're departure.
If it were only about ambience and trendiness this would be the place to go. But if it’s about impeccable service and five-star food this is not the place for you. I ordered a drink, received it, didn’t like it so I wanted to change it for something else and the waiter asked me, “What should he tell the manager?” I am not sure why he would ask a customer what to tell the manager about a drink that they don’t want. We had to actually ask for bread and when we got the check found out that they charge $2.50 for bread. That is absolutely ridiculous. I ordered the Mastro’s Salad and it was basically a head of lettuce drenched in dressing with one large tiger shrimp on top. Definitely not worth the price nor was it worthy of even being called a salad. I also ordered the 6 ounce filet with truffle butter the fillet was mediocre I asked for it to be seared on the outside and pink in the inside. It definitely was pink in the inside but not seared on the outside. The truffle butter had fallen off the top and melted all over the plate not through the meat, nor was it a good presentation. I also ordered brussels sprouts and lobster mac & cheese. The brussels sprouts were small and tasteless. The Mac and cheese with lobster taste like boxed macaroni and cheese with lobster paw meat in it. Definitely not the best. Needless to say we did not order dessert. This is my second time dining at Mastro‘s and both times I have not been pleased.This will definitely be my last time dining at this place. Although I absolutely love Post Oak Hotel and stay there at least four times out of the year, I normally catch a car and have them take me to Steak 48 where the service, the drinks, and the food are all impeccable.
Another lovely dining experience. Love everything about this place really. Got the sautéed shrimp appetizer, lobster bisque soup, bone-in filet and ribeye, Brussels sprouts, and butter cake (birthday dessert that they comp’d). Everything was delish; on prior visits I’ve had lobster, which was also yum. They decorated the dessert which is always a nice touch. Ambience was vibrant; sat right by the patio. Even though it was raining, you don’t really feel the ambient weather (whether heat or rain). Everything was just lovely.

My husband & I went for his 40th birthday. Everything was nice. Food was excellent. Staff was very friendly. & our waiter Robert was awesome. Definitely recommend this place for any occasion.
I put in my full order at the beginning of the meal and ordered the quail for my entrée by the time the waiter served the entrées they were out of the quail. No excuse!
All of our food was prepared well with great flavor. My steak was served at the perfect temperature. We enjoyed our date very much.

Service was very slow maybe because the restaurant was very crowded, it was only 3 of us and because we requested separate checks the waiter added gratuity said it was the restaurant policy. For the amount of money we spent on dinner the service could have been better.

Amazing. But too loud. The best steak house restaurant, bar none. I wish we had one in Atlanta. Pricey but worth it into terms of food quality. They might want to use less salt though.
The food and service were outstanding. However, the noise level was the only drawback. From entering the restaurant until I left, the place was very energetic and loud making it difficult to have a conversation. I plan to return to the restaurant and would recommend it to others.
