Server could have been a little more attentive. Food was delicious and worth the price point in regards to portions served.
Best dinner I’ve had in awhile! Great food and service was excellent!
The food and service were fantastic.
The host was rude, aside from everything else. The experience was pleasant.
The service was amazing and the food was even better. Will be coming again
The waiter did not explain the extra cost of the food pricing. The waiter recommended items but failed to explain the additions fee. I selected items from the menu and was charged double the menu cost. I never recommend this restaurant to anyone. Just for the record, I don't mind paying for a good meal, but I want my money worth. I paid $290.00 before the trip for a meal that was just okay.
Great place ‘
An amazing experience, loved everything about it
Sam, our waiter, was absolutely amazing! He helped us find great meals! I loved the entire experience!
Even though we were 45min late they still accommodated u, we were seated right away. Food was good, not great.
Valentine’s Day very busy and as always everything came out perfect!
The hostesses were average at best the waiter didn’t introduce himself very average service. The waiter walked by our table several times without saying a thing. Very average service.
We love Mastros (D.C.)...every time we celebrate it’s done at Mastro’s!
Throughly enjoyed our meals. Filet perfectly prepared and sea bass was excellent. Their signature side, lobster mash potatoes was outstanding.
Went during Lunch for Vday. We had the special witch was the Waygu Tomi hawk steak with lobsters. We also had the Gorgonzola Mac and Brussels for our side dishes. Steak was out of this world. One of the best steaks I had in along time. The lobster was tender and full of flavor. The dishes wasn’t good at all. The Gorgonzola Mac n cheese was super dry and the Brussels sprouts were a little mushy. The service was great and the ambiance is nice. I guess I would recommend don’t order the sides during lunch 😞
Get the chef cut ribeye!! Service is always great. Bathroom attendant is a little rude but otherwise always a perfect experience here
Best steak I've had in a long time. All the food and service was top notch! Shout out to their wine expert Jason who recommended a fantastic wine to go with our meal!
The food was excellence. The service was slow for a high end restaurant.
Husbands birthday. Steak came out over cooked and processed the first time and second go around it came out bland. My husband was very dissatisfied however he didn’t want to get the manager involved. $200 plus dollars wasted. Definitely a first bad impression considering we were super excited about dinner this day for his birthday.
Excellent restuarant, great food and service was excellent. A little price, but to be excepted. Overall, a great experience.
The service was amazing and the food was great! I will definitely be back.
Definitely get a steak.
Horrible experience. We like the Mastros in New York so went expecting great service but received the opposite. Staff was rude and and up charged us by bringing a steak that we did not order. I would encourage Pete open table users to avoid this place at all costs!
Excellent service. Rice our waiter ensure a great dining experience.
Love the food. Atmosphere was excellent. Great place overall
This place was amazing thank you for making my birthday weekend a memorable one. It’s all in the details and this place has that taken care of. I will definitely return to Mastro’s!
Great food and Staff.
Food was delicious , service was great, our overall dining experience was great!
It was my guests first visit to the restaurant. He had several special requests ... select rum, cut of meat, food allergies ... however he said it was one of the best experiences he has ever had eating in Washington DC. I was very pleased, and we sealed a deal!
I like this restaurant for the food, drinks, and live music.
My previous experiences were excellent.
This last visit was less than desirable because of the waitress. She lacked customer service, knowledge of menu, and ability to accept our feedback. The other employees and management however were responsive.
There was an opportunity to turn the situation in a more positive direction but she did not take advantage prior to us speaking with manager.
I still recommend this establishment and offer this solely as an example of how management was able to apply corrective action to our concerns.
Absolutely nice! I staff was great and attentive to the parties need. Very knowledgeable. Will revisit.
Mastro's is one of our consistently favorite restaurants to visit when we travel to cities other than our own, and Mastro's Washington DC was absolutely one of our favorites! Michael, our waiter, made the dining experience excellent (from drink recommendations to dessert)! A special thank you to George, the restaurant manager, who went out of his way to visit us because we had some common links - and what a great conversation we had! All the best to you guys at Mastro's DC!!!! Hope to see you when we visit again!
Very good food and servive
They made my boyfriends birthday very special! thank you! great date night option. Be prepared to pay up for the meal. Its defiantly above average prices. great for special occasions
Outstanding service and great food, went for my moms birthday and we couldn't have asked for a better time.
Every time that I dine there, I am never disappointed. No matter what you order from the menu, you will not be disappointed.
Food was awesome and the live band was amazing the price wasn’t too bad
I ate at Mastro’s in DC
Our Hostess, Camilla, was lovely, enthusiastic and engaging
Christian, our waiter, was excellent, of good humor, conscientious and helpful
The food was fantastic
Well. I asked for a quiet table in corner. They seated us in middle of dining room, even though hostess confirmed she had my request in my reservation. The bus boys don't seem to understand English and never followed our instructions, as if we never spoke. The waiter was pleasant, but seemed stretched thin, service was slow. The noise (loud music overhead, club music) was too loud. We asked 3 times to turn it down. Bad choice of music for a high end, formal dining experience. The bar is next to dining room. Had live music, also too loud, no separation for noise. The steak was excellent. The green beans were almost raw, sent those back twice. Scalloped potatoes were excellent as were the Brussel sprouts. The asparagus was barely cooked, same issue as green beans. The place was not crowded at all, so the noise issue wasn't with diners, it was the clubbing overhead music (thump, thump, thump, plus vocals). The room was so dark, we had to use our cell phones to read the menus and wine list. Prices here are high, so expected much more. We have always gone to Joe's or Prime Rib, but thought we would give it a try. We will stick with our regulars which are much more pleasing for a dinner like this. The Mastros in NY is not at all like this one. This one is more like a club with a dining room.
