Absolutely phenomenal experience at Mastro’s—exceptional service, the best lemon drop martinis, a perfectly cooked Kansas City strip, delicious chopped wedge salad, and the sweetest birthday dessert.

My experience was great up until dinner. My first steak was overcooked and they offered to bring me out another one. When they brought the second steak out it was undercooked, they took it back and forgot about it. They finally brought me out a third steak and it was good. Other than the merry-go-round with my steak everything else was top notch.

We’ve dined here at least 8 times but last night being my pregnant daughter’s birthday we took her to Mastros! We were lucky enough to have Sofia wait on us and it made our unbelievable meal all the more special!! Mastros is always 5 star but last night couldn’t have been more perfect!! Please keep this lady in your establishment at all costs!!!! Bravo Sofia Bravo!!!!!

The appetizers were good. Waiters will up try and upsell you on add-ons to the meal. The steaks were a bit tough and chewy. The steak knives are not sharp. It was like sawing through wood.

We had a wonderful experience celebrating my daughter’s 21st birthday dinner at Mastro’s! From the moment we arrived, the customer service was top-notch. Kyle and a lovely woman (whose name unfortunately escapes me) were incredibly patient and accommodating as I had to make several adjustments to our reservation. Omar, our server, was attentive and made sure everything ran smoothly. Everyone at the table thoroughly enjoyed their meals—everything was delicious! The only aspect I wasn’t thrilled about was the policy regarding outside cakes. While I completely understand the reasoning—cutting and serving outside food poses liability issues—the execution felt a bit intense. They were kind enough to bring the cake to our table so we could take photos and sing Happy Birthday, but it felt like we were under surveillance to ensure we didn’t cut into it. A little less pressure in that moment would’ve gone a long way. That said, Mastro’s remains one of my favorite spots for special occasions. Their lemon martini is hands-down the best in town! And a special shoutout to the talented woman singing in the bar area—her music created a beautiful ambiance that carried throughout the restaurant. Looking forward to coming back again soon!

We had THE best experience at Mastro’s! I’ve been to Orange County, Vegas, Fort Lauderdale (many times) and the Chicago one out did all of them…even though I loved every other location I went to! We’d recommend it over and over! Our server was brilliant and the food was above and beyond!

The food was fine. At the price we paid, it should have been marvelous. Our server was excellent, though. I won’t be making a special effort to return soon.

This is a fabulous place! The seafood tower, steaks and truffle mushrooms were all amazing and if you like a great Manhattan, the Weller Manhattan is the best I’ve ever had. Hope you enjoy as much as we did.
