   I totally understand why there were so few people dinning at the Ocean Club early Sunday evening, Meals for three , with tip came to slightly over $500. The most disappointing were the main dishes. Fish was a small to average portion of overcooked fish. Years ago, this was a restaurant to go to for perfectly cooked shrimp. Years ago the dinning room was not empty. Lemon drop martinis were nicely presented and enjoyable. Oysters were fresh and tasty. Expresso martinis were lackluster and underwhelming. Appetizer of sauteed shrimp used to be 3 large perfectly cooked shrimp on a skew with a delicious sauce accompanied by garlic toast. The bread and sauce were still outstanding but the 3 crumpled medium sized shrimp dumped haphazardly on the plate were at least fresh for $33. This dish might still be worth the price, Halibut and Sea Bass overcooked and boring. The waiter's description of both dishes was delightful but the food disappointing. Finally, This once outstanding restaurant dinning experience has fallen significantly. Service was pleasant and professional.

   Cocktails were wonderful. Service was outstanding. Shrimp cocktail, clam chowder, chopped wedge and fillet were tasty. Highly recommend.

   Excellent meal. Portions were large. Steak was prepared as ordered and very tender. Save room for the chocolate sin dessert! The wait staff service was impeccable. Highly recommend.

   We have dined at several Mastro’s. Tonight was Mother’s Day. Our seating was just okay. Reservations made weeks in advance. Just barely inside the dining room. Pricey Wagu appetizer was fatty, should be buttery. Noise/music ambience level was a bit loud.
