My wife and I had our anniversary dinner there yesterday afternoon and it was wonderful! Great staff and amazing food. I recommend the Porterhouse steak!! Can't beat those ocean views too! Highly recommended!
Was outdoor and not so nice. No one answers the phone. I attempted at least 10 times on different days. I had a seat outdoor under a tent with no direct ocean view, seated behind others and closer than 6 fix to one table. Food was not as good as usual, and the service was below average. They forgot one of my orders, and never came to check on me. Understaffed? There weren’t many patrons that I could see so not excusable for the prices they charge. I would go again during covid. Maybe won’t go again ever. The butter cake was still excellent. The sea bass was excellent. They ribeye was nothing special at all.

Server took too long to get to us we sat at the table for 15 min before getting any type of service. People who were seated after us were already with drinks and bread. Food was not great, do not get the salmon!! Menu sucks does not tell you much but a name. All you’re paying for is the view.

Food was great. Valet was too busy. Waitress had only 3 tables, but was gone somewhere for 90% of the time. But she was really nice.

Patrick the waiter was excellent. The food was good, but did not WOW me this time. Not sure would be back. Young employee chastised me and wife celebrating our 25th Anniversary for removing our masks for 5-10 seconds while we took a selfie near their sign with nobody around us.

The outdoor seating under the tent was actually nicer than expected. Beautiful sunset, comfortable temperature with the heat lamps, and outstanding service. They have done a great job adapting to all of the COVID requirements.
This is my favorite place to eat at during the pandemic. But unfortunately this time around, the hostess was incredibly rude and Insulting. She was the short brunette on this past Sunday during brunch. My bf and I came here to celebrate our anniversary and were extremely disappointed when the hostess tried to sit us in the parking lot smh. I said could we be moved to the ocean view and she said this is the closest we could get. My bf was very upset and asked for the manager. All of a sudden the rude hostess was able to find us a “closer” table. It still wasn’t right in front of the ocean, but at least it wasn’t in the parking lot. Those spots should Be illegal and the hostess needs to be reprimanded and learn how to not be so rude to paying customers.
The hostess totally ruined our experience because shes the first person we had to deal with, but our waiters Dylan and a Lady from Greece who popped our Moët champagne were great! We had the Bread, Lobster Bisque, Caesar Salad, Seafood Tower with Shrimp, Crab, Lobster, and the East and West Coast Oysters. For the ending we had the Butter Cake of course.
The food and service from our waiters were so good, We almost forgot about our horrible hostess. We told Our waiter Dylan about the hostess and he was also very upset about it.
Next time I come, I expect to be seated by the ocean and never have to deal with rudeness like we experienced from the hostess this past Sunday, Mastros is better than that!
Worst brunch experience.
I know it's COVID so restaurants do the best they can. Mastros should consider limiting capacity. I had an 8:15 reservation to which I ended up waiting 25 min to be seated. Service is super slow. All feels rushed. Steak wasn't cooked as ordered, 2nd time this has now happened.

Compared to our last visit at a different Mastro’s establishment, we did not feel like we were eating at a sizzler. And the amount spent was worth the experience at Ocean Club. We will continue to return to Mastro’s Ocean Club and not Beverly Hills. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Great service, i got the steak, it was a kind of burnt, i ordered medium well. I didn't know it would come burnt like extra well done. Next time i will order medium. Overall experience was great !!!!

This place was nice. The food is expensive which was not an issue but I wanted to be amazed with the flavor and I was not. The garlic mashed potatoes were great, the rest was pretty bland. The waitstaff was amazing. We sat outside under the tent right by the water but unfortunately this day had lots of smog so we couldn’t see the water. The place was nice but if you want a delicious flavorful meal this isnt the place.
I took my best friend for her birthday dinner and our service was terrible we were only visited by our server once during our meal. When our meal was brought to us we asked for ketchup for our fries steak sauce for our steak ranch for our salad and we requested an extra order of bread nothing from those items were brought to us. By the time the server came to check on us we were asking him for to go boxes and made a comment to him and he said I can give you that stuff to go... we still tipped him 20% because that’s how we are but honestly the service was horrible and considering we got there at 5 PM when they open there was just no excuse for that... needless to say I was embarrassed since my best friend had never been to Mastro‘s and I raved about it from my experience in August...
They have changed the menu and have taken out many Sushi dishes and my wife and I eat mostly Sushi, so we were disappointed because of that. Other than that the place is immaculate.
Service was a little slow but there was no reason to rush. We really enjoyed ourselves.

I have dined at Mastros Beverly Hills and Ocean Club in the past many times. This is the 1st time that my bone in rib eye was just so fatty that I almost sent it back. Every other time, the food has been impeccable. I certainly hope that this is a one time experience and my next time will be with the quality cut that I am used to at Mastros!
Getting the 5pm reservation was key! We were seated right next to the ocean’s edge and by the time we got to our entrées we were treated to a beautiful sunset. It was my first time with the Dungeness crab cocktail and it was delicious. My Hennessy Sidecar was perfection. The main courses were great, but the sides were lacking. We ordered the garlic mashed potatoes and the sautéed broccoli. I’m all for a rustic mashed potato, but there were more chunks than mash and I mean like half a potato sized chunks. My friend and I were debating between the creamed spinach and the sautéed broccoli. The waiter said the sautéed broccoli was seasoned to perfection and full of salt, pepper and garlic. Let’s just say It was lacking All three of those ingredients. The service was great and overall we enjoyed our dinner.
It was definitely a lot better the last time I came, but I understand it was a busy time. The service was less than attentive, and it seemed they treated us as lesser because we were a young crowd and didn’t order bottled water...the waiter even informed us that they would be charging us for the bread after the first batch came out...like, please keep that to yourself. It’s not a big deal. Don’t insult us and act like we can’t afford your bread. The food was tremendous, as always. We requested an ocean view weeks prior and they couldn’t accommodate us, but that’s fine. A party right beside us that we’re seated 5-10 minutes after us, we’re tended to before us as well. If they could fix these service kinks, it would be a much better overall experience.
The worst eating experience. First, they kept us waiting 40 mins. after our reservation time, and we are sitting outside in the cold. Never offered anything.
The food was ok...........service terrible, you had to ask for things 2 or 3 times before you received them. Prices are very high so you should get better value in the total experience.

Mastro Malibu is where I chose to spend my birthday dinner. Man was I on point! I ordered the double pork chop $46 sautéed asparagus $15 with garlic mashed potatoes $15 pour the glazed sauce over your porkchop. YUMMY. I then finished my night with a don Julio respasado margarita $24. At first I was upset because I didn't have a direct view of the ocean it was MY BIRTHDAY! I asked for the manager, once she came over she already had the issue resolved.by moving me directly in FRONT! I received a slice of cheesecake as a birthday treat. I must say the food was DELICIOUS and so was the service! THANKS
