Mastro's Ocean Club - Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
We celebrate my husband’s and son’s birthday here every year. The service, ambiance and quality of food is always superior and best of any Mastro’s I’ve been dined at, in the United States. Highly recommend this place for any occasion! Lobster bisque and pretzel bread are our kids favorite. We shall be back again soon!
Décor and service were nice, our waiter was on point and precise with his presentation, to bad the food didn't follow. My halibut was overcooked and my replacement meal of tuna appeared as if it had been whisked out of the fridge. Another over-hyped Vegas restaurant that won't see me again.
I eat out at the finest, high end restaurants in Las Vegas regularly. We had the bone in ribeye, grouper, creamed spinach, mac& cheese, and Italian wine. Mastro's had great service, nice atmosphere and great wine selection. The food was bland and over-priced for the flavor. There are better options out there if you are looking for great tasting food.
Food was OK to taste but badly presented. Soup arrived splashed all over the bowl and was overly salted. We have eaten much better cooked fish for a fraction of the price. The servers were attentive and responsive and the butter cake was excellent. For this level of restaurant we had much higher expectations and will not be dining here again any time soon.
We had an amazing time at Mastro's Ocean Club! The restaurant was very busy but the server was very attentive and our order received in a timely manner. The food itself was fantastic! Although this is an expensive restaurant, it is well worth the money for the taste and portion size. The sides are served family style which is fun as well. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family!
The food was amazing as always. Melt in your mouth fillet with truffle butter, BUT the service was not up to par. We rarely saw our server during our meal. Her description of the meats and other options seemed like an inconvenience (“Do you want me to go through the whole spiel?), and we were practically seated in a hallway, though we had made reservations well in advance. I had to move the menu from the adjacent table off my seat before I sat down because the tables were that close together, and the hostess didn’t notice. So, I’m 50/50 right now on this restaurant. It would definitely be a roll of the dice to bring a guest you didn’t know well.
Total Rip-off. Have been to many fine restaurants, but that was the biggest deception I have ever experienced. Two tiny pieces of grouper that was supposed to be blackened, but just had some cajun spice sprinkled on one side, for a whopping 45 bucks. Ordered a side of mashed potatoes, and that was 13 bucks, and a side of broccoli, for 11 bucks. Total rip off. The ambiance was a balcony over the main floor of a mall. Never again!
We were originally seated at a two top next to the kitchen which we did not appreciate especially since the restaurant new it was our anniversary. When we asked to be moved the hostess did move us to a lovely table in the birds nest. Our service from then on was fabulous with a finish of the incredible butter cake.
