Mastro's Ocean Club - Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
Very high level of execution on appetizers (lobster cocktail is wonderful), sides (scalloped potatoes are a highlight) and of course the steak and seafood mains. Our server was great, they don't get any better. The food at Mastros over in Palm Desert might have a slight edge, but the service in Vegas was superlative. Sure, its premium priced, but the value is there because you get what you pay for.
I had a chopped wedge salad with bleu cheese and bacon and it was excellent! The lobster bisque was also very good. My entree was sea bass which I had pan seared and it was as good as any that I have had. The food and service was superb. I had eaten in the past at Mastro's Steakhouse in Scottsdale and enjoyed it also. The big difference in the two restaurants was noise level. Mastro's Ocean Club, Las Vegas was a bit too noisy for my tastes, as it is located more or less on an open area on the second floor of the Chrystal Shops center next to Aria. It was difficult to carry on a conversation. I would recommend the restaurant, but just warn about the noise!
Really unhappy with my waiter. I felt he was pushy and quick and we were celebrating our babymoon and did absolutely nothing to make us feel special. Not even a congrats, especially after he rolled his eyes when my wife was being picky with her salad. The food was good. He was not
What a disappointment. Who ever thought that having a fine dining experience in an open shopping mall was a good idea missed the mark. We have been to the Mastro’s in Costa Mesa and had a great experience. So if you want to have very expensive and great food while dining at Bob’s Big Boy this is your place.
The ambience is great, the dining room hangs out in the middle of the mall. The waitstaff is Uber professional and trained expertly.
We started with two different salads, the Caesar and chopped wedge. Both are ample to split. The bread basket features the pretzel roll, to die for.
We had the 6oz filet, cooked perfectly.
Accompanied by the garlic mashed potatoes and cream style corn. Both a must have.
Add a few cocktails and you quickly understand what a wonderful night it was.
WE LOVE MASTROS BUT ONLY THE LAS VEGAS ONE BECAUSE OF THE AMBIANCE AND MOSTLY BECAUSE OF LIONEL. WE ALWAYS REQUEST HIM - WE LOVE BRINGING NEW PEOPLE THERE FOR DINNERS AND SPECIAL OCCASIONS FROM ORANGE COUNTY. WE SOMETIMES ONLY BOOK VEGAS SO WE CAN COME SAY HI AND HAVE DINNER WITH LIONEL. HE MAKES EVERYTHING SO ENJOYABLE !
I WISH HE WOULD MOVE DOWN TO COSTA MESA OR NEWPORT COAST MASTROS LOL
I’ve hosted business meetings at this location several times over the years, but this visit was absolutely below par. Server was rude beyond acceptable level even for Vegas. Food mediocre at best, soup and salad arrived in the middle of our appetizer serving, the main entree was incomplete and served with delay to each guest . The entire meal was rushed, we felt the serving staff just wanted us to get out now. My business clients observed this and we’re not happy. Thanks for nothing Mastros!
I ate at Mastro’s two nights in a row during SEMA and Tim (Timothy) was great both nights as was the food. When I could not decide what to order Tim suggested I order two appetizer portions (scallops and ahi tuna). So I got You hr best of both worlds. I have never had a bad meal at any Mastro’s restaurant.
