   If your looking for quality food and great service- this is your place. I had the pleasure of meeting Nadia- our server, Nadia. She was awesome! Food came out perfect!and in a timely fashion. I asked one of the servers for a manager, we met Alec. What a great guy! I wanted to let him know what a great job Nadia was doing: and he was great great manager. Kudos to Alec and Nadia for a great experience at dinner! Thank you.

   I know that dogs are allowed at most restaurants in South Florida. However, the dogs should only be allowed in the outside dining areas, not in the main (inside) dining room and any upscale establishment like Mastro's, Morton's or Ruth's Chris. I have to say that my Mother's Day brunch was not enjoyable because of the dog in the main dining room across from my table. When walking to and from the ladies' room, the dog tried to pull away from his leash, but fortunately the owner was able to grab it quick enough to prevent any issues. But again, I do not expect to see a dog in a fine dining room, with above average prices, period. They should have been seated outside! Now for the food, two people in my party ordered omelets with cheese, and both had to be sent back because they forgot to add cheese. I ordered a waffle that was overcooked and hard, so that too had to be sent back. I used to be a regular patron of Mastro's and even had my daughter's birthday dinner there a few years ago. My family took a break and started going to Morton's instead. Mother's Day was a reminder of why we stopped dining at Mastro's.

   Hard to do a buffet styled brunch in an expensive restaurant but Mastro's Ocean Club pulled it off with lobster tail, cracked crab legs, claws, jumbo shrimp, oysters, splendid beef carving station and an "order from" menu. Excellent Mother's Day brunch buffet..

   What a wonderful surprise this brunch was! We had a perfect table on the water and the food, especially for a buffet, was outstanding! Yes, it’s pricey but well worth it. The seafood was top- notch. Can’t recommend enough!

   The Bone-In Filet was ordered medium and arrived well. A replacement was brought out and it was prepared as ordered.

   This is my favorite restaurant in South Florida. We consistently have great service and food. Marty has become someone I look forward to seeing when I arrive because he ensures it's a wonderful experience from start to the end. Our waiters Steve and Bill captured our Mother's Day celebration for us with pictures and went above and beyond to make sure my mother enjoyed her first time dining there.

   Some previous reviews did not do this restaurant justice!!!!! Had a first-time reservation on Saturday May 3rd for my husband's 65th birthday. We were welcomed by everyone we passed, and the environment was warm and inviting. My only negative was the table that was selected for us, but I requested another table, and we were seated at a much better location. Our waitress was amazing, the food was excellent, and the entire team was extremely attentive. We had Cocktails which were the equivalent of 2 drinks, Crab Cakes, Calamari and Bone Marrow for apps, Australian Tomahawk Steak, Fillet Steak, Sea Bass and Pork Chop, Creamed Spinach, and Lobster Mashed Potatoes (which we were all skeptical about but LOVED). I wish people paid more attention to the Dress Code, but other than that we had an amazing time!!! My entire party is looking forward to returning.

   Best dining experience I’ve ever had! The food was amazing, especially the butter cake. The staff was friendly and extremely attentive. A little expensive, but worth every penny. I will definitely be back.

    Steve our server was fantastic. Mastro’s Ocean Club is the friendliest most attentive restaurant in Fort Lauderdale. The setting is perfect, the food top notch and we can’t say enough great things about the service. Even the valet parking staff is amazing!
