We have frequented this chain many times.
Our best experience was in Los Angelos which is why we went.
Overall we were disappointed. An expensive meal that was just not worth it. We ordered three appetizers. The oysters rockafella were smokey and not edible. The Caesar salad was soggy and the escargot was soaked in a not very tasty sauce.
We ordered the 18 oz. bone in filet which was excellent.
I got a call from Alec the next day to ask about our experience. I was honest as I am in this review.
He promised a follow up which has not happened yet.

Second time we been there within two weeks. Great food and staff.
Half of the items we wanted to order were not available . Everything else was doused in butter . Would never return . The clam chowder was the only thing that was good .

Very slow service
I'd recommend, and tell the friend to tell the waiter to slow it down, right from the start. Everything was very good, but it was very rushed.
This was my third visit. The food was only OK again. I want to like this place, but I am struggling. Cocktails are very good as well as all the raw bar items. We had stone crab claws and oysters, very fresh. We had a Ceasar which was average and a wedge witch was very good. The fillet mignon was very good, but the scallops and Tomahawk were very over salted as well as both our sides of creamed corn and creamed spinach. It will be awhile before we will be back. I would recommend it for cocktails, apps and the view, but not for the dinner.
ALL of our food was barely warm. Our steak did not arrive on the hot sizzling plate.
Everything was perfect. All staff was super helpful and friendly, to make our experience one of the best ever.
Great food and service unfortunately was erased by a table near by of loud office workers without inside voices. Not much the restaurant could do, but it sure does take away from an otherwise nice evening out.
We had a 7:30 Reservation with outdoor seating. We show up at 7:20 and the hostess tells us that there is no outdoor seating due to a private party along the intercoastal. We say OK go to the bar outside to get a drink and waited 10min for a bartender to show up. After we place our drinks 10min later we get them. Not sure why they have a outdoor bar but go to the inside bar to get the drink. While we were outside we noticed a bunch of open tables that were along the water but not on the intercoastal. I go speak to a different hostess explain to her my concern and she seemed puzzled why the other hostess told me there was no outdoor seating available. Apparently this has been a thing with Restaurants that they say there’s no availability when in fact they do have plenty of open tables, this has been happening more and more frequently nowadays. So we finally sit down at about 745 and didn’t leave until 1015. It wasn’t a crowded night at all but they were so slow. They forgot the surf in my turf and made it up with free desert which we did not want but it was a nice gesture. The bill was beyond expensive for no reason. I’ve been to plenty of “true” steakhouses, Peter Lugers, Wolfgangs, etc and I get way more for my money and better service and quality all around. I don’t mind paying $300-$400 for 2 people but HATE feeling gouged. Needless to say I will never go back and I will make sure I tell people not to waste their time and money and go elsewhere. The most important part of my problem is STOP ACTING LIKE YOU HAVE NO AVAILABILITY WHEN IN FACT YOU DO!!
The service was excellent, we had David as our server. We have had him before. As always took the time to accommodate everyone. I do have 2 items I was not happy about: 1) the king crab was previously frozen, we could tell because the meat had a little ice in it and was bland. 2) the men’s bathroom had no soap to wash hands and the garbage was overflowing with used paper towels.
All good. But expensive $14 to add bacon to Brussels sprouts is ridiculous
We had a party of 6 sat outside and everything was perfect. Seafood tower was amazing all the food was fantastic. It was quiet and we had a fabulous time.

Bar service slow but drinks were good.
Seated for 20min before we had to ask for a waiter. Still no waiter so asked for a manager. Manager was apologetic and offered no excuse for why we weren’t taken care of. Said first round of drinks were on him. He brought over a waiter and we ordered drinks. 15 minutes later still no drinks. Waiter came over and said drinks are being made and he would take our dinner order. Then we overheard the table next to us complaining about the service. Waited another 10 min and still no drinks so we left. I wonder how long it took them to figure out that we were gone. Rating based on service because we never got a chance to eat. Inside of restaurant was empty.
Service was great. Our waiter went above & beyond expectations to make sure we're satisfied.
Lobster was great.
Our waiter Jay was awesome. Took care of the kids first.

My man and I dined here for the first time and it was nothing short of amazing! We sat outside near the water and it was beautiful. The weather was perfect and the ambiance was very romantic with dim lighting and subtle music playing from house speakers. We ordered a bottle of Canvasback (2016 cab), fried calamari, Gorgonzola Mac & cheese, roasted brussels sprouts, I had the filet and he had the NY strip. Everything was as delicious as described to us by our waiter and cooked to perfection. Oh and for dessert we had the key lime. Omg everything was amazing and I can’t wait to go back. The staff is all very friendly and the manager came to our table to check on us a few times which was very appreciated.
The steak came out the wrong temperature. It was a very average tasting steak. Tasted like something one would get at a cheap chain, not an upscale steak house. The location is excellent and the service was nice. At the prices charged, the steak should be amazing. This is no Ruth's Chris or Shula's. The price is similar but the quality is inferior.

We went for Valentines Day. We had a 1015 reservation but didn’t get seated until 1115 because it was so busy. We sat at the bar to wait. The lounge band was very good but would have liked a place to dance. The seating hostess took us to an inside table but we had requested outside. She was quite rude and didn’t want to change the table. We ended up going back to hostess stand and then they brought us to an outside seat. That was the only hiccup. Once seated the food and service was outstanding along with the beautiful water view even though it had rained earlier. I also did not get a rose as they ran out so I was disappointed in that. The manger never came over to our table to apologize so that is the only improvement I can suggest. Overall great for a special occasion. We will be back!
It was a little hectic due to Valentine’s Day and the weather.
Reservation for 9:45, wasn’t seated for over an hour.
Food was very good, however when the food runner brought the food, he gave my wife her’s and the sides. My 60$ porterhouse steak was on a plate so hot it stuck to the tray. When the food runner was trying to pry it off the steak fell on the floor and I had to wait for another steak to be brought to me. However the steak was brought to me a few minutes later looking as if it had just been thrown in the fryer to quickly kill anything it picked up off the floor and was possibly the same steak...
Granted this was on Valentine’s, but no reason for the waiter to be PMSing. Tried to to be friendly but he seemed to be having a horrible night and it kept getting worse for him and now for my date and me. Then the food came. First filet came out well done when I asked for it medium rare. Brussels sprouts were charcoal disks. Sent those back, which no matter how bad the kitchen screws up, you should never. Still, new steak came out on a “400 degree plate” or butter splattering, fire hazard. Second Brussels sprouts came out under cook. Couldn’t win. Was looking fwd to this place given the word of mouth but didn’t live up to the hype. Oh and don’t bother trying to resolve anything with the asst mgr. you might end up putting her in therapy questioning her inability to do do her job.
Made a 7:30 reservation but didn’t get sat until almost an hour later (and we were on time). Seemed like the restaurant couldn’t handle the amount of patrons and should have turned away customers with no reservations, but they chose not to and as a result it took 15 minutes just to check in! Very disappointing
not a great experience. Table beside us were extremely loud, possibly drunk. had 7:15 reservation but not seated until 8:00. was a birthday but waiter who was supposed to bring a desert forgot to do so. to top it all off there was a plastic twist tie in my salad.
If everything could go wrong it did. The hostess was a liar .
I made the reservation 2 m ago w explicit wants We were to have a window table she gave us a table no where near the window claimed in the main room - it was because we could see the window ...really ???? We spoke to the manager who then offered In The middle of meal to move us to the window again really ??? And offered nothing else
My husband explained what he wanted w his steak but the waiter knew better - sent it back because the waiter did not know better - what ever happened to the customer being right or to service them properly
We go to the one in NY which is stellar
The level of help here in Ft Lauderdale needs to step it up

They seated us 40 min after our scheduled reservation, and our overall service was just horrible! Our server told us she was “tired” and that’s why she was slow. What the heck?!? Lastly, none of our entrees came out at same time. The server or manager didn’t do anything to make our experience more pleasant whatsoever after a nearly 3 hour dining experience. Thumbs down. So sad bc we really used to enjoy the food here. Just overpriced and terrible service.
our waiter John was terrible run if you get him. He forgot what we asked for , and gave us check with stuff we did not order. We have been here numerous times and always had good service and food. Go early as place gets very packed.
We had a great time. The food was perfectly delicious and the service was impeccable.
Great View, fine wines and good food. Service was great price a little high but view is worth the high prices. Reservations during dinner time a must.
