Birthday it was fun a little noisy and waitress was not great
4 stars because I love it, but definitely not as good as usual. Quality just wasn’t there
Everything was delicious. I had the twin lobster tails, and my husband had the rack of lamb with a lobster tail for himself. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Even though Mastro's is pricey, it is worth the cost. You won't be disappointed.

My overall experience with this restaurant was not so good. I always dine in here so for this experience to be horrible and I brought a friend on a date for the first time I was very embarrassed at the service.We were sat In a very uncomfortable see the first time. I wanted to change seats but it took 20 minutes for someone to Even come over and acknowledge us once we were acknowledged I asked to move seats in the accommodated us but it took them another 5 to 10 minutes to come in even get drink waters. I feel like that is totally unacceptable for this restaurant and I was very unhappy. My drink tasted like it had soap in it, I’m not sure if it was from the cup or it was intentionally put in my drink. I don’t think I’ll be coming back to this restaurant any longer I’ll have to find a new restaurant to dine out from this point on
One of my favorites.
First of all, my husband and I reserved a standard table in the dining room. Instead, we were placed at a high top in the bar area. We were facing the ocean which was nice but it was a tad noisy. Our waitstaff were excellent and attentive which actually was a big plus for us.
I ordered the petit filet which was butterflied and medium-well. This is when the dinner really went downhill. The steak and mash potatoes were cold! I will say it again, it wasn't even warm!! How does that happen?! It was delicious but not at the proper temperature. Ready for this? I was asked if I wanted a new steak or have the one that I had warmed up? Seriously!?
I do not know what I was thinking but I requested it to be warmed up. Btw, last month we were in LA and actually ate at the Mastros in Beverly Hills. Impeccable!! So, we just knew that BOSTON, would not disappoint!

We ended up taking our food home. We were comped the butter cake which we ordered. Guess what ?! That was not warm either. Such a disappointment.
Suffice to say, we were not impressed.

Food was outstanding! But it very overpriced.
We made a reservation during a slower time due to plans later on in the day. This was our third time here and usually the service and everything is on point. This last time we were here we felt like we were being rushed with multiple servers hovering over us. It was a very uncomfortable feeling. We were made aware that several servers were undergoing training which was completely fine. Our entrees came out before we were able to finish our appetizers and several waiters were hovering over us waiting for us to finish our appetizers which made the moment very uncomfortable. Hot towels were offered while I was still working on my appetizers and we had a waiter stand there waiting for me to finish. I asked later on if we had a time cap and was told that we did not. The overall experience this time was very uncomfortable so we’re not sure if we’d be coming back anytime soon.
For the cost of the meal. I was very underwhelmed. I didn't think the oysters were fresh. In fact they were somewhat lukewarm when received. When asked for shrimp; I was given hot shrimp in a sauce, not cocktail shrimp. It was just a very mediocre experience.
Service took extremely long and the food was cold and underwhelming.
Always an outstanding experience at Mastros. Once again did not disappointment.
Arrived to the reservation on time and the hostess tried to seat us at a high top in the lounge because the main dining room wasn’t available yet, had to wait 30 extra minutes for a table. Server was nice but the porterhouse we got was below average. a horrible quality. I have been there numerous times and this by far was the worst.
Absolutely amazing. From the time we walked in, the Maitre d’, Tutu, had our table ready when we walked in, even though the restaurant was busy.
Food was exceptional. Steaks were cooked to perfection & the sides were more then enough to fill everyone up.

Super noisy. Not much room. Okay service and good food.
This is a total corporate wonk restaurant - it's very loud and they nickel you for everything. Our waitress didnt know how to pour wine without getting it all over everything. She also asked us if we wanted truffle butter with our steaks but never mentioned that each small pat was $15 !!! THe steaks were average at best and they were served on plates that were scorching hot which took away from the natural flavor because the steaks were so hot to eat... I do not recommend this place to anyone. Total disappointment
It was a picture perfect night dining outside overlooking Boston Harbor with family ! Meal was delicious and the Butter cake with vanilla ice cream topped off the meal!

Mastro’s is one of our favorite restaurants. Sophia is an excellent general manager—always attentive to her clients’ needs and wishes. Kevin is a wonderful bartender—excellent mixologist and fun energy!
The service was perfect. Waitresses were very attentive. We loved the experience and will definitely be back. Food was amazing.
Our waitress was amazing. They had a nice anniversary card waiting for my wife and I when we sat down at our table. They topped the night off by giving us an amazing dessert celebrating our 23yrs.
Way too loud. Food was good, service slow. We chose the restaurant because it is a Landry's establishment but they don't participate in the rewards program.
First time visit and though very pricey, worth it. Service and food were fabulous.
