They nailed everything, zero complaints, valet was easy and quick, hostess very welcoming as soon as you walk in, coat check, wait staff, meals, it was just a perfect night, will most definitely be back

My husband and I went to celebrate his 50th birthday. Everything was wonderful. Our server was so nice and engaging. I had called ahead to let them know it was a special event and we were greeted w/ birthday wishes, a card on the table and a piece of cake with a candle after dinner (which, by the way, was excellent!!).

This was my second time here and everything was top notch. Sat in the bar near the music(which was excellent by the way). My partner and I had a couple of dry ice smoking cocktails(very chic), and some chilled Stone Crab appetizer which we found to be utterly delectable. For Dinner we had the Ribeye, and KC steak with truffle butter, and steamed Broccoli. Dinner couldn't have gone better. Our server Kathleen was awesome, and a total pleasure. If you haven't been to Mastro's.... You haven't been anywhere.

The steak was the size of a tennis racket and was cooked perfect, need to get that and the mushrooms again. Kevin the bartender is top notch, the butter cake was a perfect ending.

The food was so good. Expensive but very generous portion. We had few friends joining us in the last minute and tutu at the front was extremely helpful and friendly and she was able to sit us down fast. Must try their signature buttercake!!!!!!!!!!!

Exquisitely prepared seafood dishes with world-class sea view. Price tag is a bit on the high end, but totally worth the money if you are into high-class seafood fine dining!

Our first experience at Mastro’s was mostly wonderful. The food and service could not be better. The portions are extremely generous as well as beautifully prepared and presented. The only negative which truly surprised me was the selection and volume of the music. In a restaurant at this level with these prices, I would have expected a relaxing dinner with either background music or none at all. I realize that this is a generational thing but we dine frequently at the top restaurants in the city and many of them at this level have an older crowd who don’t want to compete with the music. I will say, one lady we dined with asked if the music could be turned down and our server was able to comply. We truly enjoyed the balance of the evening and hope that this music issue can be at least compromised. Thank you.

Went for Thanksgiving Dinner. Restaurant only had 2 tables occupied at the time so not busy.

One out of the four salads ordered arrived 10 minutes after the others. Apparently there was a “collision” in the kitchen.

I ordered a 16 oz. NY Strip and they brought out a 8 oz filet. They then brought out my NY Strip but it was medium rare and not medium. They re-cooked it and brought it back but by then all 6 other members in my party were finished eating and all sides were cold.

Other than an apology by staff, no compensation at all offered for any of this.

Will not return and would not recommend. Should have listened to the many poor reviews on Yelp and went elsewhere. Too many other options available with both better service and value.

Everything and everyone was super. Arthur, our waiter was attentive and we never felt rushed. We had a great time and loved being by the window! Cant wait to go back!

We love steak houses but we were very disappointed with the quality of the food!! The meat was not tender and the veg was overcooked.

Not good first impression !! We eat a lot at Morton’s and love it there!!

I've been here twice recently, once for my anniversary, once for a birthday dinner. The food both times was great, but what made both nights was the service...it was exceptional in every way! The price point here is high, so for me this is a special occasion restaurant, and the service team goes out of their way to make you feel special.

I went to Mastro's Ocean Club in Boston to celebrate my birthday with friends visiting from out of town on Saturday, November 16, (Opentable Confirmation #: 2109789402) as I was also eager to taste the food and experience the atmosphere firsthand before finalizing dinner plans for my boss' retirement party next month. There was a lovely birthday card waiting at the table and the meal was book-ended with a birthday dessert, but the dining experience itself was truly disappointing. For our first round of drinks, the waiter was in the middle of shaking a martini when it exploded onto my friend and the table, and the server seemed more concerned about wiping up the ice and liquid on the table than making things right with my drenched friend and her drink, and we waited 15 minutes to receive a replacement and we were not compensated for the accident. My friend and I ordered medium rare and medium petite filet steaks, and after waiting quite some time received petite filet steaks that were cooked medium well and well done. We told the waiter that the steaks were overcooked and he brought over the manager who asked if we wanted to wait for new steaks to be grilled and at that point I was so hungry that I couldn't wait any longer to eat. My friend hardly touched her well done steak and sent it back as such when the plates were collected. When dinner concluded and the check arrived, we were surprised that nothing we ordered had been taken off or discounted based on the disappointing food or drink service. Again my friend asked the waiter why we were being billed for steak that was overcooked and inedible, and he brought the manager over again who told us that since we weren't charged for the birthday dessert there was nothing else he could do, and I ended up just feeling guilty for eating the cake and for selecting Mastro's as our dining destination. In the end, I can't remember the last time I've had such a bad dining experience, especially one this expensive.

Came here for my best friend's birthday and everything was impeccable. Service was excellent, food was very good, ambiance was romantic and overall environment was very pleasant. Would definitely return again! Loved everything about Mastro's.

The staff is fantastic and accommodating. I was celebrating my first anniversary, and there was a congratulatory card on the table signed by some employees plus provided a discounted slice of beautifully decorated chocolate cake. Cost is slightly high but the food is well prepared, meats were cooked to perfection. Bartenders are great.

The food is excellent. The service was terrific. The attention to detail is perfect. The menu is top notch. The views of the city are wonderful. But bring your wallet as you will pay big time for all these goodies. If you are having a special occasion I would say this place should be on your list.

Great experience and food was excellent! Ryan our server was terrific with his service and recommendations.
A nice touch was a congratulatory message to my son who just passed his CPA tests. Ryan had the kitchen staff put the message on the desert plate in frosting. Nice touch!!

Business meal with colleagues. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Had the jalapeño tuna sashimi appetizer, bone-in filet, and king crab truffle gnocchi. Excellent service!

Service was great. Great ambiance. My veal chops were cooked to perfection and very tasty. My wife had the grilled sea bass and was dry and not worth the $52. The presentation of the sea bass was very unimaginative. A shame a restaurant of this caliber you would have thought this dish would have been more than below average .

Excellent service by waitstaff.
Oysters Rockefeller had way to much liquid smoke. No need for such a strong smokey flavor.
Tuna tartta uneventful.
Clam chowder was the best I've had there.
It didn't have the smokey taste as before.
So it tasted very good.
Steaks cooked perfectly but not really worth the cost quality wise.
We have had steaks at other steakhouses with better flavor and texture for same cost.
Overall a very nice experience. My wife and I enjoyed ourselves.

Mastros is literally amazing. From the second my group walked in everyone make us feel so special by congratulating us on passing the bar exam. We were waited on hand and foot. The dessert even had a special message. I will be back next week after getting sworn into the bar exam.

Spilled hot coffee all over me at dessert.I asked for a cool compress or towel and he never came back ,not even to give me coffee as it had all spilled on me.
Finally the waiter came over and I told him what happened and asked for compress.the manager came and asked if I wanted to file a report and I said no just a compress which he finally brought. I was very uncomfortable and wet and cold from compress. I did not eat dessert and the experience was unparalleled in a bad way. The waiter said the manager will take care of you. I was sure he would comp

Mastros called next day to ask about our experience as they often do. I told her the above. She asked for contact info,but never heard back.
