Absolutely wonderful experience at Massoni. I tend to shy away from Midtown, but this place has all the sensibility and ambience of any of your LES favorites. Their unique twists on Italian classics are not only unexpected but executed to perfection, such as the brown-butter burrata, curry-infused arancini, and rigatoni osso bucco that puts grandma's sunday sauce to shame. As a native New Yorker I did not expect to like "Detroit style" pizza - I ate my words quite literally. The pie w/ pickled peppers & honey as well as the mushroom & french onion mascarpone came out still bubbling and had an indescribable depth of flavor & texture. Cocktails were on point, service was fun friendly & helpful. Got tipped off to this place by a friend who raved about the talent of Executive Chef Scott McDonald, and to say we were blown away would be an understatement. Overall - Massoni is a MUST TRY. Outstanding meal, outstanding experience.

We had a great meal with a very good server. We loved our pizzas. Had the mushroom and the pepperoni. Pepperoni was our favorite. Also had arugula salad and biryani rice ball - all delicious. Server was attentive and wonderful to our little infant family member also in attendance.
Pizza was delicious. Happy hour goes til 7 even at tables. Would recommend.

Hosted a lunch with a group of a dozen business women who enjoyed the casual vibe and delicious, organic menu. The service was excellent and we were able to conduct a productive group conversation despite our large table.
Food was flavorful and a comfortable place to dine.

2-3 oz strip steak- Yes, 2-3 oz on NEW YEARS EVE !!!
We saw a typical huge strip steak passing by en route to room service- at least FOUR times the size of our portion—Not Fair!
Finally- dessert was wonderful and out of this world great!

A modern Italian cuisine focused on quality, taste and experience. Service outstanding, menu simple yet with flair. The meatball and garlic starter a favorite.
Food was overpriced and it was extremely loud! Initially waiter was attentive but towards the end of our meal couldn’t get his attention.
Good service, wine and coffee. Food was ok but the menu limited and a bit idiosyncratic. Squid ink pasta lacked flavour.
Fun place. Great service. Tiny portions but slightly less than similar type options in nyc. Left still hungry but enjoyed the house wine. Accommodating server!
Decided to get to the restaurant early to escape the crowds and discovered free wine and snacks in the bar! Staff was friendly and helpful. Dinner was tastier and more interesting than we expected. Especially enjoyed the lamb and polenta raviolis and the warm mushroom and kale salad. Worth a repeat visit!
I was supposed to get 1000 points for going to this restaurant and in the end only got 100. Very disappointing. As for the food. It was ok. Not really great Italian, but ok in a pinch.

This restaurant was located in the hotel we were staying in and was perfect after a long day shopping. Staff very efficient and the food was so tasty and hot. Nice feel to the place... really liked it.
It was very quiet when my friend and I had brunch here, only two - three other tables occupied. The waitress pointed in the direction of the tables so I seated myself while waiting for my friend. Took another waitress maybe five minutes to say hi and bring water. The staff were very friendly and explained my breakfast pizza would take a little longer to cook than other items on the menu. The food was great. The venue and decor is fun. Would be interested to see the vibe when its full.
The food was fantastic. My only complaint was that we waited for the hostess for 15 minutes before anybody sat us. The waitress was great, but if this was Restaurant Wars, Dale would be in trouble for making us wait at the front.

Service was friendly and responsive - they were able to make good recommendations. The pizza with Brussels sprouts and pistachio was a delicious surprise of flavor. The rigatoni was perfect for two! While there was a small selection of beer and wine they choices were perfect for the meal.
Innovative chef offerings include a mushroom pasta dish, a buffalo mozzarella appetizer and a super, pizza you can make a meal out of. Great newcomer.

Banquette seat was very stained and dirty. The service was very slow considering we were only 1 of 3 tables that we occupied for lunch.
I had higher expectations on the food considering the chef names related to the restaurant.
Nothing was as ordered or described. And the product is overrated at best.
