Food was good, waiter was great
Service was excellent. While food was rich, it was delicious.
Food and atmosphere was great. Anne-Marie made the experience spectacular. Great service AND the most enthusiastic and professional person that I have ever encountered. THANK YOU!
Delicious daily made pasta with nicely balanced seasoning on various pasta entrees.
This was our third visit to Masso and, like the ones before, it was excellent.
The menu is very creative Italian and the food comes well presented and with great flavor.
Service is attentive, pleasant and professional.
All in all, a well designed and executed twist on Italian food.
More than amazing! Service by the english gentleman was outstanding and the food was the best we had our entire trip beating out Spago and Hell’s Kitchen. Would go to Vegas just to eat here.
Wonderful dining experience!
We LOVE this place!!! We are always greeted with friendly smiles when we enter. Seated quickly and service is always fast and food comes out hot and fresh. the only complaint we have is they took the wonderful eggplant away from the Stromboli. That brakes our hearts cause that eggplant was the BEST we ever had at any restaurant. If it aint broke DONT fix it!!!!!! WE LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!
We dined at Masso Osteria for the first time. We had an enjoyable time. I was concerned when I saw the menu prices on line because of the price and things being ala carte. I figured that an upscale restaurant would have smaller, elegant, portions. I was pleasantly surprised. The servings were large and delicious. My husband and I split a salad and it was more than enough for two people. My husband had the pork chop and I had the salmon and both were excellent. We each ordered a side but found that we could have ordered one and shared it because the portion was large. The service was efficient and friendly. We will definitely return!
Food was amazing but our service was slower than normal. We’ll be back for sure.
My first dinner at Masso's on a Saturday night was really delightful! The staff were friendly and welcoming -- we arrived early and though they offered to seat us, the hostess encouraged us to enjoy happy hour specialities at the bar. A San Remo cocktail for me and a Stella Artois for my friend later and we sat down for a delicious dinner. I had the tomato salad thick with heirloom tomatoes, burrata and deliciousness and my companion had the misto salad, crispy and crunchy and fresh. The sommelier was patient and indulgent with me as we selected a wine to go with the veal parmagiana (which my friend and I split, it was huge!). The tomato sauce was rich with depth in flavor and more of the fresh burrata, yum!! The wine was excellent, the veal was excellent, it was a great meal! There were so many other inviting things on the menu, I can't wait to go back!!
Unfortunately the waitress missed one of our meals so three of us were served and finished before the fourth person was actually served their pasta. No apologies or anything were given.
The place was very nice and might have revisited but probably not now.
The only reason for 4 stars is because of the noise level and how dark the restaurant is. Food is excellent and our server was wonderful. We had branzino which was delicious and fire roasted prawns with Calabrian chili oil. Oil had no chili flavor or heat whatsoever and there was too much of it which pooled at the bottom of the couscous. Prawns were sweet and delicious. I would definitely return.
Had a table of six for my wife’s birthday. Service and food were fantastic. Great spot conveniently located in Red Rock Resort.
Awesome experience we will definitely be back. Great service
First try. Cynthia's birthday dinner. Bar tender Jeff was excellent with our cocktails and friendly. Dinner was served by Stefanie efficient, lovely and lively. Ben the mgr/sommelier was perfect in his wine recommendation. Food was amazing. Perfectly prepared and met all expectations. We shall return regularly.
Steve our server was awesome! The food was terrific!
Outstanding food, great value and superior service.
Great Italian food with affordable prices! Fun atmosphere!
Excellent service, delicious food... Fabulous atmosphere!
Music was too loud for conversation and we hope that is improved for future visits. Our server was excellent except that she kept calling us dears. A little too familiar.
Overall we liked the ambiance best but felt the food was not that great. This was our second time there and we enjoyed it much more the first time. We had a server who seemed uninterested in genuinely helping us. When we only ordered a bottle of wine that was under $100 we did not get the decanter like everyone else and it seemed we were being judged from there, even through we ordered 3 appetizers, salad and two filets. The octopus was rubbery and nothing like the first time we had it here. We will most likely not be back due to inconsistency and when it’s a $280 tab, I feel it should be consistently good.
Outstanding service. Staff is courteous and extremely knowledgeable. Food was served promptly and was outstanding
We sat outside on a nice night. Heat lamps were in use but only set up in a few areas. As the evening progressed it got a chill but tolerable. The table had leaves from a nearby tree which were not removed and I just brushed them off.
We were there for my wife’s birthday and chose the tasting menu. Started with Recco style garlic bread, tomato salad and mixed radicchio. All were good. Our favorite was the tomato salad as the other salad was a bit heavy with parmigiano vinaigrette.
Next was two hot apps, classic meatballs and the polenta. Both were excellent although the polenta was an odd dish to serve. The meatballs were our favorite. For the pasta course it was the Pomodoro and the Gemelli. There wasn’t quite enough pasta with the Pomodoro. Essentially a ramekin sized twist in the plate didn’t give a chance to truly taste it. However we liked both but couldn’t choose a favorite. Last of the dinner was our mains, filet of beef and wood roasted chicken. Beef was served with trumpet mushrooms and was tasty. The chicken had a bit of spice and the roasted veggies with it were good.
They took the time to write “happy birthday” on our dessert plate for my wife. The salted caramel budino was good but a bit too heavy after so much food. My wife especially liked the topping. There was also a burnt orange gelato which was meek and didn’t really have much flavor. Overall we enjoyed our meal and the food was good. Most courses were sized perfectly and gave us a good taste of the menu. Given the specialty nature it would have been nice to have something special as part of the tasting menu. Something off menu that only comes as part of the tasting. They were celebrating the chefs anniversary but it seems like any other time. The meal was good not great. I would like to try the veal chop another time as I saw it delivered to another table and gave me food envy. $170 with tip but no drinks(we don’t drink) is a high price and. I expect a lot when spending that much on two
The drive from the strip is more than worth it. We’ve started planning our trips to Vegas around going to dinner here. My husband and I order multiple things to share and try something different each time. EVERY SINGLE THING on the menu is to die for. There hasn’t been anything we’ve tried that’s “just okay.” Service is phenomenal
Food was great. Service (Steph), was a pleasure as always. Will be back again for sure!
This place is a true gem. We went to the 1 year ann. party and met Scott, what a great person! The staff and food are top notch and the atmosphere is really nice, great for a special occasion or date night!
Great event,Great music,Great Food, ambiance, should have more local gatherings like this one
Amazing food and service! Everything is spot on!
It was difficult (aka it sucked) not coming in at the opening 5:00 to get a table. Also a little confusing as to the inclusions. If you knew the bartenders you got what you wanted complimentary. If you didn’t you got a slap on the wrist (per se) and a bill with no change ($10.50 beer purchased- $20 given - no change returned). Food at the pizza stations for the 1st 2 hours was really sketchy (non existent). Afterwards (2+ hours in) everything was fully represented and awesome. Hand presented offerings went directly to those seated and no one else. We are huge supporters of both Chef Connant and Masso and will return in the future but there were multiple lapses that could have been averted in this event
Always a great atmosphere and good food!
I enjoyed Masso and meeting the owner, Scott, and the friendly barstaff... I enjoyed meeting new friends and enjoying the lovely atmosphere (outside) of this restaurant... I felt like I was somewhere else on holiday, rather than in Vegas.. Thank you for a wonderful evening and Happy 1 year Anniversary... Wishing you many more years of success.
The hostess and wait staff were outstanding and "johnny on the spot" the whole time that we were in attendance. The appetizer sampling was amazing - especially the polenta and brushetta.
Definitely worth the time to get to Red Rock. Nice to be off the Strip. Great service, nice beverage list. Meatballs were yummy!
Food was excellent , pricey but for a special occasion definitely worth it. Was also cool that Scott Conant was there.
Everything was fabulous. Food and service were perfect
Great pasta! Loved it. Worth the drive from the strip.
Gratitude tasting menu was outstanding and not only highlighted great dishes but was also an outstanding value
Return visit was outstanding
Great meal. Everything was fantastic. Steak tare tare was the best ever.
We are frequent guests of this terrific restaurant, but a consistent compromise to our experiences here is an EXTREMELY loud and obnoxious bartender (beret-wearing) whose overly boisterous voice and broad-projecting exclamations are way beyond being upbeat & spirited and are instead truly invasive, jarring, irritating, abrasive, rude, tacky, and corrosive to the dining experience here. Further, the sports broadcasts on the bar behind him seem to be a crutch for his amusement and he spends as much time watching and commenting on games as he does actually anticipating and hosting his guests. We’ve observed this over a dozen visits but felt it was time to comment since he was a great source of irritation to so many guests on Thursday night. He may be a competent and congenial bartender but he seems more suited to working at TGI Friday’s or Dave & Buster’s than at this elevated establishment. Energetic is great, but intrusive shouting and over-talking really compromises the vibe here and makes the atmosphere near the bar feel very down-market and “cheap”. We usually enjoy premium after-dinner drinks but he is a disincentive to stay and spend any more money...we just want to leave to escape his space when we’d otherwise have stayed and easily spent another $100 on premium cognacs, fernet, or other wonderful indulgences that we often enjoy. If he changed his energy slightly, I’m certain you’d see a higher check average at the bar as he’s a deterrent to business and not a magnet as he could be. There were three couples around us all complaining to one another about this guy, and none of them ordered desert of after-dinner drinks as everyone just wanted to leave as quickly as possible.
