The food was amazing as always but the service we had for brunch was horrific. Everyone around us we noticed got exceptional service and we were treated like bums off the street. And our server tried to overcharge us TWICE!! I feel bad Scott Conant has his name on such terrible service
I love the pasta and the sauce is always perfectly good!
Well worth the short cab ride from the strip. Excellent food!!! Loved the outdoor patio. This one is a. Must!
Great food and excellent service. Christian and Tripp did an amazing job. Will definitely be back again and often.
My wife and I came here as our 2nd visit to this restaurant for my Wife's birthday and check out the opening of the Brunch menu. I was not very impressed. I ordered "Eggs Any Style." I could not believe at a restaurant that advertises to be upscale restaurant actually served me very burnt eggs. I thought, Wow, the Chef actually had to see that the eggs were burnt, but the Chef still served it out to the server, who actually put the dish on my table even thou the eggs were clearly burnt. I took a bite, and thought, I will not accept burnt eggs, as I never been served burnt eggs in other establishments that are just plain diners. I told my waitress and she immediately had the Chef make me a new order, which was satisfactory.
Also, my wife told me when she went to the buffet and asked the Chef about whether the eggs had meat inside, his response was, "What does the menu say?" Which seems rather unprofessional.
My wife and I felt that dinner is the only time we will visit this restaurant again since when we went here
the first time it was a very pleasant experience and the food was fantastic.
We went for family birthday dinner. Patio seating was perfect. Comfortable atmosphere; fun, knowledgeable staff (attentive but not invasive); very good food, we tried quite a few dishes. Will make the drive from Henderson again soon, many more menu options to explore. Enjoyable evening!
had a lovely evening with delicious food and drink and polite service
My only concern is that the staff isn’t very attuned to guest needs in order to deliver an exceptional dining experience, very subpar compared to other comparable restaurants in the neighborhood. Open Table should realize that from the start, the hostess was not prepared for our arrival. She did not know that we had already requested outdoor seating. Furthermore, no other communication was delivered to our server that we were celebrating our anniversary at Masso’s. The sommelier was very polite and helpful, although seemingly uncertain about the menu. The server was helpful as well, allowing us ample time to enjoy ourselves throughout our evening without any need to rush us. Chef Scott Conant did not disappoint. His menu is amazing and we will return. It is our hopes that this review of their SERVICE would be communicated to the staff. A restaurant who prepares and gets to know their patrons ahead of time offers just as memorable an experience as the food they serve. Wouldn’t that make any guest feel special?
Great place to grab a delicious plate of italian food
Chef Scott has assembled some truly remarkable recipes that are outside the normal Italian that you expect. Food and service was excellent!
The house made pasta was very special.
My wife and I Love Scott Conant’s restaurants. This is no exception
Loved this view ! We had an awesome time. All the staff was great and the food was delicious.
There are many better options in Summerlin. The menu needs a lot of work and the service leaves much to be desired.
Overall pricy for the quality of food. Ordered their famous garlic bread which had barely any garlic flavor or salt and soggy base. Was disappointed that they don’t serve complimentary bread which is pretty basic for Italian restaurant.
Didn’t care for tiramisu either.
Loved the pasta with sausage.
Had a wonderful dinner for three. Shared the incredible garlic bread appetizer, followed by the lamb/beef meatballs. Then shared the crab/squid ink pasta entree. Service was excellent, all in all a wonderful evening.
Garlic bread, Tagliatelle pasta, Grilled Prawns were exceptional!
Second time eating there. Everything we have tried has been good.
The time between our entree and salad was so long, and it was not busy at all. They didn’t let us know the specials, and we had to ask for another round of drinks. They didn’t acknowledge it was our anniversary even though we mentioned it at the time of the reservation.
Great meal. Will definitely return for another meal.
Great food! The pasta did not disappoint. The cocktails and dessert were fantastic as well. I would highly recommend.
The volume of the Football games being broadcast throughout the bar area is a terrible compromise to the dining experience and cheapens the overall atmosphere. As well, it turns the bar staff into TV-watching zombies as their eyes are glued to the televisions and they have their backs to the guests over 50% of the time. Really low level experience, worse than a TGIFridays restaurant in terms of atmosphere and TV-addicted staff.
Ridiculously expensive. $110 for 3 appetizers and 2 drinks.
The 3 appetizers equaled about 4 bites of food.
We had an excellent experience from service to the outstanding food! I enjoyed the wood fire octopus and the radicchio / endive salad. And the squid ink rigatoni was amazing
Food wasn't impressive. The service was great. Ambiance was nice. Food, not so much.
The garlic read and gemelli pasta were outstanding. Highly recommend
Delicious Sicilian Collins cocktail
Service was horrible. Unwilling to make any substitutions what’s so ever. We felt like they were serving frozen dinners that couldn’t be changed. House white wines all tasted the same. Sent back a Pinot grisigo. Tasted like Chardonnay. Told that if I didn’t like I could send it back. No solution. Offered. Waiter young. No effort at all. Will not go back. We would’ve eaten at T Bones. But they were closed for a private event. Dinner was extremely over priced for very mediocre food.
Happy to finally have an Italian Restaurant in the Red Rock Casino that has great service and food. The portions may seem small to some but are actually filling and flavorful. For starters, we had the garlic bread and classic meatballs. The garlic bread is similar to a pizza (round with the cheese filling). It was a different take on bread, but very delicious. The meatballs were good, but a little too dense and dry for my liking. For the main meal I had the Grilled Salmon. It was cooked perfectly and tasted great with the accompaniment of small diced vegetables and a pea sized pasta (pastina). We ended our meal with a dessert and coffee. The sticky toffee banana pudding satisfied our sweet tooth and the coffee is actually good and strong. I would definitely go back to this place.
Our server and the support staff stayed on top of our table to make sure drinks were refilled. We also met the chef, Scott Conant, which was a great way to end the evening. He is very nice and spent time meeting with all the patrons and taking pictures. Next time I’d like to try out the patio seating or the bar area. The noise level is perfect, not too loud but vibrant.
Loved the food, atmosphere and that the chef came out to talk to us and wish us a happy anniversary
Delicious. I would drive anywhere for some of that polenta. A definite order item.
Pastas were so flavorful and large portions resulted in enough for the next day. We had the tagliatelle and the pasta with sausage and peas. Also had the flatbread with truffles and egg. No room left for sweets. Would definitely eat here again.
The food is outstanding and the atmosphere is upscale casual. I can't wait to go back
This was my second visit to the restaurant. My husband and I had the tasting menu. They were items on there I never would have thought to order such as the creamy polenta, but everything was delicious! We did the wine pairing and Christian was knowledgeable and asked questions about our test so he could pair of the wines accordingly. Our waiter Jeff could not have been more attentive and personable. Both visits here have been incredible! I will be dining here frequently
We were celebrating my mother in laws 80th Birthday. Service was excellent! The food was superb. We all had a beautiful evening!
Food was good and prices were better then expected. This restaurant has been so many places, not sure why. The ambiance is kind of dark. Staff was friendly and the prices are good for the area and location
not your typical Italian food for me..Service was nice, but food was just ok
This dinner was fantastic. The food was amazing but the pricing was a bit high. I will be returning :-)
Came into town wanting to try a celebrity chef owned restaurant and Masso Osteria did not disappoint.
It had great ambiance and the noise level was not as bad as reported on other reviews. Our party tried
the chef's tasting menu. All courses were pleasing to the eye and palate. The star of the meal was the
creamy polenta. It was super smooth and partnered with truffles, mushroom, and bacon. The only
course that fell short of expectations was the wood roasted chicken. The chicken was a little dry
and seasoning a little bland. Overall everyone had an enjoyable experience.
While we had a reservation and were seated promptly, some of us went to the bar. Mike G., our bartender, served us with his usual sociable style. He charming and attentive. Our server, Renee, was friendly, courteous and took time to help my grandson choose a dish. There were 6 in our party and we ordered a variety of breads, entrees and sides. All of the entrees were served at the same time and were hot. Every one of us was delighted with the dish we chose. It was my daughter's birthday and she was treated to a lovely dessert. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
