The view is outstanding and the service was exceptional!
The food was superb and the service was friendly, helpful and knowledgeablre. We were seated right beside the window and the view we enjoyed was just spectacular. I would return any time and enjoy another wonderful evening.
Unfortunately, the restaurant fell short of my expectations. The food was average at best and perhaps below average when the prices are taken into consideration. My Rigatoni Bolognese was bland and boring. However, my greatest disappointment was the view of the falls. The falls were certainly within sight but the restaurant lighting created a mirror-like glare on the windows which interfered with our ability to see the falls. In fact, the glare was so bad that it was easier to see reflections of ourselves and our surroundings than it was to see the falls.
good service, decent food, but over priced. You may also want to bring a sweater or jacket as it does get cold near the window.
The food was all excellent. Did not get any "extras" like bread at the table or salad, you have to order everything. There was a misunderstanding with the $20 off that the hotel gave, it was not stipulated that it had to be for 2 three course meals in order to qualify (I did have an entrée but it did not count). I had also noted on the reservation that is was for a birthday. Saw lots of other people getting "Birthday" desserts and wishes but not my friend. There is also a 3% PF tax in some places in Niagara Falls, this is one of them.
Aside from the Niagra Performance Tax Fee, which we did not know about, the service from our waitress Meghan was exceptional. The food was flavorful and the view spectacular.
Amazing food, service and ambiance! Will be back! We had our 2 kids with us and they had just the right food for them and catered to our vegetarian needs.
Terrible overpriced food avoid at all costs! I have had much better food elsewhere.
It was a decent experience. Our only sore point is that this restaurant like many of establishments Niagara Falls Canada tacks on a "Promotion Fee". You will see it on your bill coded as PF. If any establishment tells you it is a tax there are lying. Most places will remove it from your bill if you ask. If not the common practice it to factor that "PF" into any tip you may leave.
Sorry Massimo but the ambiance for a top rated restaurant wasn't there. Not even close to your restaurants in Toronto.
We had a window table and it was so cold my wife had to put on her jacket.
Food and service were very good but the food cooled down very quickly because of the cold.
Improvements are needed if this is going to be one of your signature restaurants.
The ambience and food were great. Lovely view of the Falls.
It was such an amazing night great view and the meal was fantastic
Amazing service. Staff were super friendly and food was delicious.
Brought my gf to niagara for a weekend getaway, ate at the restaurant for dinner and we both loved it. We are still talking about how good the food was. Our server Sasha was amazing and made sure we were well taken care of. Would highly recommend this to all.
Had a lovely birthday dinner for my son. Our waitress from the Ukraine was delightful and accommodating! Will definitely be back the next time we are in Niagara Falls!
Our waitress Megan was amazing and so helpful. Great service, food was yummy and the view of the falls was amazing!
The food seemed pre-pared, the pasta sauce tasted like a knorr packaged mix not impresssed for the price. Our waiter was outstanding !
Enjoyed the meal. All ingredients are fresh and it shows
Dinner was excellent, Matt our server was outstanding and very helpful with dinner and wine selections. Our pre-wedding family dinner was enjoyable and the view great.
Great food and great view . Service was quick and on point - food was hot and delicious. Drinks were very good quality and the view over the falls was super.
Most of all the service and the way they accommodated us made all the more amazing !
We recently booked dinner for 6 people to celebrate my wife's birthday. All of us had the Price Fix menu which allowed us to all a variety of apps and entrees. The wait staff was fantastic as was the food. The portion sizes where substantial and in line with the pricing.
The selection of desserts was a bit disappointing but overall we enjoyed our dinner very much.
A wonderful way to have spent our 45th Anniversary. Our Waiter was exceptional. The view fantastic. The meal, Delicious.
food was excellent a bit on the pricey($) side but very enjoyable , the view is amazing and the staff was very informative and very friendly . will definitely return
The pasta meals were yummy and the beef so tender. Jason our server was great!
the food was excellent and the servers were very attentive and helpful with the menu
Amazing view of Niagara Falls combined with great food - highly recommended.
Pretty expensive, though...
Great view service food . Worth $$. Very special.
Waitstaff was very good, just the right amount of attentiveness. The food, my bass, was delicious. Would return, the view of the falls is amazing.
The food was good but very pricy but tasty. I feel it was overpriced. The sea bass for $40+ is ridiculous ! It consisted of 3 pieces of sea bass, two very, very tiny potatoes the size of a thumb nail and a half cup full of sautéed red and yellow sweet peppers. Imagine the profit on this!!!! I guess it's part of the tourist trap.
Entree (Pasta) was outstanding. Service was pretty slow, even though the restaurant was not particularly crowded on a Saturday night, but our waitress was very pleasant. Ambiance is severely lacking - there is nothing special or outstanding except the view if you happen to be sitting by the window. Very expensive relative to the overall experience. Bread plate was just blah and not complimentary. Salads were very good. Our waitress offered us a sample of ice wine at the end of our meal. It was delicious, but unfortunately we didn't get back to the gift shop that night to purchase some and the shop doesn't open for alcohol sales until 11:00 AM on Sundays. Oh well...
Ceasar salad did not have much flavor, prosciutto wrapped chicken was good, risotto was a little undercooked, same for the vegetables, basically raw and just warmed. Dessert was ok, tiramisu was lacking flavor, did not have ability to make cappuccino or latte, which seems strange for an italian place. View was nice, table was small, room was very warm and very noisy, and we were there before the place was full. Service was really good, think it was overpriced.
Spectacular view and excellent food and scenery!! Would definitely recommend!! You get for what you pay!!
No taste, not worthy. Not even the bread!! Magnificent View of the Fall.
We had a delicious glass of local wine after our meal..compliments of our waiter..wondering what it was so we might order some
Our server Christian was absolutely wonderful and the was outstanding. We had a perfect view of the falls. A great date for our anniversary
The view was really great overlooking the falls. It was a bit expensive for what it was.
I booked a reservation at Massimo’s for a party of 8. We were there for a bachelorette which I made a note of when I booked the reso online. When we got there, I spoke to the hostess about whether they could do anything special for the bride-to-be. She said they could bring out sparkling wine and a dessert with a candle in it. Perfect! I told her the special lady is the one wearing white (the rest of us were in black). She made a note of everything in their system. Our server was not the greatest. He did not tell us about the specials. I only knew of a few from what the hostess had mentioned to me before we were seated. The food and drinks were good. Then they brought us dessert menus and placed new cutlery at all our spots. So we were thinking, ok they’re going to bring out the wine and special dessert for the bride now. Two of us ordered our own desserts. Next thing you know, another server places a large brown paper bag on the table and said “here are your desserts.” We were all confused because we didn’t order anything to go. I looked in the bag and the 2 desserts ordered were in there. So those two people were eating their dessert at the table out of plastic take-out containers. Very classy... not. Our server didn’t even seem phased by what had happened. They also didn’t end up doing anything special for the bride-to-be. Massimo was overrated and the customer service simply wasn’t there. I will not be recommending this restaurant to anyone.
Had a wonderful anniversary dinner. Our server. Christian, was amazing. So friendly, down to earth and very knowledgeable about the menu, drinks and the Niagara Falls area. Highly recommend this restaurant for the food, drink and of course the fabulous view!!
After a amazing dinner at Capris in Clarkson (Mississauga) my fiancé and I were really looking forward to dinner at Massimo’s. For starts we were the only ones in the restaurant and it look over an hour for our order to be taken and then part of our starters where missing and my dinner was extremely salt. Will not be going back
I’ve read reviews of this restaurant before and many of them said service was terribly slow. This is true. This wasn’t due to the fact that servers were slow, but most likely because they didn’t have enough help. Also the portions sizes were obscenely small and overpriced. Views are beautiful though.
