Massimo's has been a Fremont destination and landmark since opening in 1976. The name Massimo's is not only the middle name of our late founder but also means “great”. The food, service and atmosphere is the passion of owner Bill Rinetti Jr. We strive to create a cuisine that is fresh, seasonal and prepared with great care and also include some of our classical preparations including our Caesar Salad which is made in the dining room. The fare is American with bits of Italian influences. We have been featured on KQED "Check Please Bay Area".

Be sure to save room for one of Massimo's Flaming Desserts that have become one of our signature preparations.

    Always lovely to go to dinner at Massismos! And we weren’t disappointed last night. From excellent service by David, visiting with owners Bill and his adorable mother, Marie, to the entertainment, Saxophonist Chris, nothing but spectacular!

    Sonny was our server.. shes great have had her several times. No rushing but attentive. Food fantastic as always! Will be back

    We dined on my partner's birthday. We were seated at a booth decorated with a Happy Birthday card. Service was prompt and friendly. Two expertly mixed cocktails were followed by a delicious Caesar Salad for Two, prepared tableside. My partner ordered the Bucatini alla Vodka; I had the special Double Cut Pork Chop. Both were perfectly prepared and marvelous. We finished by sharing the Mudd Pie, served with a candle on a special birthday plate. Thankfully, no one offered to sing. Although the wines by the glass menu could use some bolstering, there is not much to complain about at Massimo's. Still the best in town.

    The service was outstanding and the food was great. We had a wonderful time. We’ve gone to Mossimo’s several times. It’s a up scaled restaurant

    Prices are up a bit at Massimo's, but the quality of the food and service has not suffered. We had the Caesar salad for two, prepared tableside. One of us had the chicken marsala, with lots of buttery sauce atop a plentiful plate of chicken and vegetables. The other had a filet mignon, prepared medium rare, with peppercorn sauce. Both entrees were excellent. There are other items on the menu that looked attractive, so we'll be returning soon.

    The food was top notched and great value. The restaurant ran out of veal. But the pork chop alternative was tasty and moist. The table service was attentive. It was a great evening. The mood went south when the restaurant didn’t know how to process a third party gift card. 🧐
