   We had two of the evening specials: seafood pasta and petrale sole. Both were excellently done. Sonny's service was excellent, as usual.

   An absolutely fabulous evening! Service was superb & our food was beyond delicious. Caesar salad for two with identical entrees of the veal chop!

   Massimo’s is a great restaurant in Fremont. But I go there for one dish which is unique and amazing, the veal chop smothered in a mushroom sauce. What restaurant sells a veal chop? And when I go to Massimo’s that’s my go to dish because it’s so great. The wine was alright. And they should have more and better wines by the glass But what they have is O.K. We started with Nona’s Meatballs. And that’s just delicious. I don’t know who Nona is, but these meatballs are terrific. Then we had the Caesar Salad which was good. I think adding anchovies would have made it better. We also had the eggplant parmigiana as a side dish. And that’s a tasty dish. But the veal chop is what is on the menu for me. And it will keep me coming back to Massimo’s! Oh, the dessert twrt with the spumoni ice cream was excellent, too. And I have to say that the prices are reasonable for what you get.

   When Massimo’s is good, it is great. But it can be good or fair. Service is excellent.

   It was one of the worst meals I had in a long time. The food was extremely bland, my party all had the same experience. The Caesar salad was so extremely overdressed that it wasn’t edible. I would not return.
