WE ARE OPEN FOR DINING ON OUR BEAUTIFUL PATIO AND WE ARE FOLLOWING SOCIAL DISTANCING AND CDC GUIDELINES.
With a beautiful recessed patio, the all-day restaurant and bar conveys the atmosphere of those lively French eateries;
a buoyant neighborhood hub by day (offering coffee drinks, croissants, and egg dishes in the morning, pita sandwiches and classic bistro items such as steak-frites for lunch) to a festive ambiance at night around dishes such as homemade pasta, gambas au pastis, eight-hour braised lamb, and Moroccan tajine.
The unique crafted cocktail program is based around spirits from the South of France and Italy, with a dedicated Negroni menu, as well as an extensive selection of Amari and French brandies.
Massilia is open every day at 7:00am.

Just lovely. Had breakfast outside.
We had brunch there on Saturday, ordered Brioche French Toast, Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict and coffees... just average and nothing to rave about. 90 minute free parking at the parking structure just across the street.
Delectable food, incredible service and wonderful atmosphere!
Had the broccolini pizza, my mates had mushroom pizza and Bahn Mi. We were all very impressed with the food. Servers were friendly and speedy. I will definitely be back.
We had a fabulous dinner here! Great service, amazing food and a lovely patio for dining. Surprisingly not a lot of people at the happy hour which was awesome!
ENJOYED MEAL APPETIZER A LITTLE SALTY. FRIENDLY SERVICE. HALL LIGHTING LEADING TO MENS ROOM ROMANTIC BUT INADEQUATE
Good! Solid food, portions were kind of small and no one really checked in on our table even though the place was not full.
The service was fantastic. Food came out quick and was very tasty. Drinks were on point. Definitely worth enjoying when visiting Santa Monica!
Great food, great atmosphere’ we’ll be back soon!
Excellent service! Our waiter, Jean-Michelle was amazing! The ambience was very nice an intimate. Food is excellent. Loved the pizza, fries, spicy wings. Drinks are also great! Will def be one of my new fav spots.
Fabulous drinks. Fabulous food. Romantic spot. Great staff. The lamb was absolutely delicious and I highly recommend it! A great bistro vibe.
Nice cocktails and wine selection and great food
great food and great ambience for date night, dinner with friends, or could also be a professional dinner setting as well. great cocktails
Nice dinner, good service, portion sizes varied from dish to dish. The lamb was definitely the highlight. Not really a “French” restaurant but lots of really nice Mediterranean dishes.
Excellent service, food was delicious. Would come back again.
Most amazing drinks and food super delicious
This was a great happy hour spot with a beautiful dog friendly patio!
The food was amazing as always! Ambience and design beautiful and makes you want to come back over and over again.
Food was amazing but the service was poor
Delicious food and amazing service! Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice date spot.
Always great food and nice ambiance. We keep coming back.
Didn’t have a chance to enjoy the food as the waitress totally abandoned my table after seating us. After waiting for 10 mins for her to bring me water, I asked the bus boy to get her. She still did not come after 5 more mins wait. The restaurant wasn’t even busy; she was just chatting with another staff while we asked for her. VERY DISAPPOINTED!
Had a delicious meal here during our family vacation with our two teenage boys.
Food was nothing special. We ended up leaving after the appetizer
Upon our arrival we were seated at a table, the waiter asked for our drink order, and then when he brought the bottle of wine we ordered and began to open it, one person in our party of 3 asked if we could see the lunch menu instead of the brunch menu. He said no, they were only serving brunch. I then said that the website for the restaurant indicated that the brunch menu and the lunch menu would be available on the weekend, to which he replied in an extremely rude manner: "Let me repeat myself again," and told us lunch was unavailable. The three of us got up and walked to the front to ask for the maker, to which we were told there was none working that day . And then we left. Absolutely abominable behavior.
Great ambiance & Great Staff. Can't wait to go back.
Beautiful place, delicious food and good service. Will definitely come back!
Sunday brunch had limited items.
Can't order from the regular menu.
Lovely place for a date. Enjoyed the meal with the Mrs.
Thanks to the lovely Brazilian server who guided us through the menu, we had a nice dinner, trying out a new-to-us cuisine concept, multi-cultural tastings.
As we were escorted to our seats, the restaurant had spaced the tables within keeping to the COVID-19 reg and the space in the back appeared cavernous.
The menu was simple. The choices left little room for accommodations, like substitutions.
We ordered small dishes, the appetizer sampler, meatballs, salmon socca, burrata and wine.
The wines by the glass were good. I recommend the Sauterne and my husband likes the kit.
The first 2 dishes, meatballs and sampler dish came right away. The meatballs had a spicy kick at the tail end. They were very tasty 😋.
We were disappointed in the sampler. The baba ganoush was unseasoned and the pomegranate seeds did not add anything to the dish. The prosciutto and pita were nice. That was all we ate from the platter.
Meanwhile the table was cluttered with dishes while we waited for the next plates.
We waved the server over, she had the check. We were still waiting for the salmon and burrata.
Ten minutes or so later, she returned to say the food was coming. The table was still cluttered with dishes.
When the salmon arrived, there was very little dill sauce spread on the socca. We asked for a little extra dill on the side but she said they had to remake the fish properly. We would have been happy with a little ramekin of the yogurt sauce. But another while later she returned with it.
We never got the burrata. She was about to go back into the kitchen to straighten out the issue when my husband told her to just take it off the bill. We wanted to go home.
This young woman had a tough time getting her order out to her tables. I saw no teamwork. No manager came to the table to apologize. We paid our bill and left. We won’t go back.
As two dinner guests whose order would have easily been $200, there was no effort from management that addressed the missing dishes.
This was my first visit and I really enjoyed the food and service. The patatas bravas and burrata salad were delicious. The crispy calamari wasn't crispy, which was unfortunate. We probably should have sent it back but didn't. All the other dishes we tried were great, and he branzino is the perfect dish for sharing. Unlike many small plate servings, the offerings here are generous. Aside from the one disappointing dish, I would still recommend this restaurant for the food and service. For me, the bigger problem was the ever increasing volume of the "background" music. At the beginning of our meal it wasn't too bad, but by the end, we had to shout to be heard over the music, and we were sitting at a table for two. It was extremely annoying and we skipped dessert because we couldn't wait to get out. I don't understand why restaurants feel they need to blare music at dance club level volumes. It doesn't make the food taste better, it doesn't improve conversation, and there's no dance floor, so what's the point? For that reason alone, I'm not likely to return.
Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. Ordered the Proscuitto pizza and calamari. Be aware the Erdinger (beer) is non-alcoholic (didn't read the details).
Server was very sweet. We just had drinks and appetizers so not too much to review. But it was a good date spot, and I would recommend it.
The food is simply great, we went there for the lamb shank and were not disappointed. The table was on the outside and you’re literally in the street with cars and big blue buses around all evening. Better check something a little bit more inside. The cocktail list is great and very original ans the service is of good quality. Was expecting a bit more frenchness to it but was all good otherwise. Highly recommended
Wonderful service and delicious food. Would definitely go again.
Food was aite…. Ambiance was dope
very nice space! upscale casual, great place for a group. great service and cocktails
Wonderful welcoming place with super fresh and delicious food. The Burrata is my favorite item.
One of my favorite go to places in Santa Monica: great food and cocktails, very friendly staff, nice music in the background. 24 hour parking structure is right across the street. I highly recommend for lunch or dinner with friends. And yes, make a. reservation.
