Everyone was so accommodating and friendly. The food was very good. And the service exceptional. I wish they offered a few more basic apps/entrees at a reasonable price but the quality and presentation is outstanding!

Service and food was excellent. My drink was never empty , great wine recommendations. Ava our server was kind, knowledgeable and made us comfortable and allowed us to enjoy our experience. Felt like we could order each course at our leisure. She was great. Our second visit and we will be back!

Tonight I had the pleasure of dining at Mason’s in Quincy, and I cannot say enough about the outstanding service we received. Our server, Xavier, truly elevated the entire experience. From the moment we were seated, he provided thoughtful guidance through the menu, offering all the information we needed without ever making us feel rushed or upsold. His professionalism and warm attentiveness made our evening feel effortless. We ordered the chef’s special — a tomahawk ribeye — which was cooked to a perfect medium rare and absolutely melted in every bite. Every cocktail we ordered was phenomenal, crafted with care and exceptional balance. To finish the evening, we indulged in the pavlova for dessert, and it was nothing short of excellent — light, flavorful, and the perfect sweet ending to a wonderful meal. Xavier’s impeccable service combined with the outstanding food and drinks made this one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a very long time. He deserves to be recognized for his genuine hospitality and dedication to excellence. We look forward to returning to Mason’s — and hope to be lucky enough to be seated in Xavier’s section again.

Our recent visit to Mason’s started off rocky but was thankfully turned around by a standout manager. We dine out 3–4 times a week and have a good sense of what to expect from a restaurant at this caliber. When we were first seated, our server Larry seemed disengaged and out of place. He suggested ordering at least three appetizers for just the two of us, even though the menu isn’t tapas-style. We opted for two, which turned out to be more than enough—his guidance was clearly off. When I mentioned I was vegetarian, he simply said, “There’s pasta,” and walked away. When I asked which pasta dish he recommended, his response was literally, “It’s pasta,” followed by walking away again. It was uncomfortable, and his approach felt more about upselling than offering a genuine experience. He also insisted we order everything at once, which felt rushed and inflexible. That’s when Sarah, the manager, completely saved the evening. She stepped in effortlessly, explained the menu in detail, and helped me find a great vegetarian option. Ironically, as she was assisting us, our appetizers suddenly showed up—even though we hadn’t placed a full order yet. From that point on, we never saw Larry again. Sarah took over and provided excellent service for the rest of the night—checking in, ensuring our meals were right, and even offering us a sample of the delicious hazelnut ice cream. Her professionalism and warmth completely changed the trajectory of our experience. If it weren’t for Sarah, we likely wouldn’t return. Her attentiveness and genuine care stood out, and as a business owner myself, I know how valuable employees like her are. Larry, on the other hand, could benefit from serious retraining in service etiquette. At this price point, the experience matters just as much as the food. His behavior—getting visibly annoyed with another table for not ordering appetizers—felt more appropriate for a chain restaurant, not an upscale steakhouse. We’ll return, just not Larry’s section

Fourth time here since they opened and it is well worth it. The decor/ambience is one-of-a-kind for the suburbs, and the food is high-quality and creative. The NY strip and porkchop were so tasty and very good-sized portions. Our server was very friendly and had great timing. On a previous visit there was a hiccup at seating. I gave feedback and this time around seating was flawless. They are working very hard to build a great experience for their diners.

Lovely new restaurant. Downstairs rooms was lively and vibrant and upstairs was quieter and more reserved, so nice to have a choice of ambience! Steaks and sauces were excellent, perfectly cooked to order and the slow cooked pork chop was so flavorful and juicy. The standout dessert was the baked Alaska tiramisu - like nothing we have had before - very innovative and the coffee flavor jumped out. I would say two things we would have loved to see - a wine list with more aged wine choices and white table cloths, at least upstairs where it was more reserved, I feel like that makes the steakhouse ambience. Overall, great place for us to celebrate a birthday dinner.

From the moment of arrival the service is outstanding! The service is only matched by the food quality and taste. This was my 3rd visit to Mason's and the return was to share the experience with someone special who had not yet been. The Quincy Classic cocktail is perfection, the complimentary treat from the chef was a nice start. We ordered a few of their appetizers to start and followed with their steaks and sides. All prepared with the highest standards and the best quality ingredients. The staff work beautifully together to make the experience incredible.

Phenomenal wine dinner experience. The multi-course curated dinner was held in the upstairs dining area. Sophisticated and comfortable, these wine dinners are a feast for the wine aficionados. We have enjoyed each of three we have attended. Chefs and sommelier Cody were present the entire evening.
