   Excellent Connecticut (warm) lobster rolls and very good cole slaw side. Very informal, order at the counter type place with indoor and outdoor seating.

   Mixed review: Food was good - lobster tender and tasty. The not good - service was woefully slow. There were two people there on Sunday at noon. They had to stop taking orders because they were so backed up between people who came in and orders placed online. The guy who was ringing everyone up (it's walk up and order then grab your table) had to help make the food because the woman in the kitchen couldn't keep up. They also rang us up incorrectly 0 instead of charging for a combo drink & chips with the lobster roll it was done individually so we paid more. And of course the darn tip screen is right there before they even start making your food or serving you (pet peeve) so we tipped 20% to wait 40 mins for two lobster rolls and a grilled cheese kids sandwich at a pickup counter with no wait service

   Came for the Mother’s Day experience and it was so great!! Staff was friendly, food was amazing, and the place was decorated for the holiday :)

   I’m a native Mainah and am so pleased to report that Mason’s did not disappoint. The lobster roll was perfectly done. The top split roll was toasted nicely with a generous portion of lobster, which had just enough mayonnaise to bind, but not overpower. The chowder was good as well, and the whoopie pie was perfect! It reminded me of the homemade versions from my childhood. My child had the lobster mac and cheese - feedback was “fine” but that was based on the mac itself. There was a generous amount of lobster included, but it was more of a topping versus being baked in. Overall, I highly recommend Mason’s and plan to return.

   It was surprisingly pleasant. Me & my friend decided to catch up over some lobster rolls. They were very good. They were small, but for $20 a pop I only got one w/chips and water. I would go again and would recommend as an expensive treat.
