The staff were lovely - welcoming and friendly. Sadly the food wasn’t good: we were there for a roast (admittedly the latest lunch serving) and the chicken was dry, the beef was tough, and the sausages in the pigs in blankets were so unbelievably bad (they were actually white even though cooked!) that all we could do was give them to the dog. The vegetables were nice and the cauliflower cheese was lovely. But they really need to change their sausage supplier - paying £4.95 for a portion of 3 abominable sausages is not ok. We didn’t complain as being the last sitting the staff were changing over and we just needed to go, but in hindsight we probably should have done so they knew there was a problem.

Lovely lunchtime treat. Just a shame there seemed to be a problem with flies, hope they sort it soon

Another excellent Sunday Roast. Moving house soon so not keen to be doing too much cooking. Always happy to eat here any day of the week!

Upon arrival we were advised they were extremely busy and food would be around 30 minutes. Despite there only being one member of staff serving, our food and drinks order was taken and food served all in around 30 minutes. Food was delicious, 2 burgers and the steak sandwich, and ended up trying desserts, sticky toffee puddings and the orange delice - all delicious too. The lady serving was really efficient sorting the whole pub and really nice, wasn’t rushed and was attentive.

The Masons Arms has a good friendly atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and efficient and the service was excellent. The food was to a high standard and was very tasty. We wil certainly come back when in the area.
