Maska Indian Kitchen + Bar
Sunday Brunch $55.00 ++ pp.
We visited for a three-course Miami spice brunch. The taco trio was fantastic! The lamb taco was perfect. I was also impressed with the mangalorean chicken. The shrimp coconut curry had a nice light flavor with just the right amount of heat. However, there were only 5 medium-sized shrimp for the entree so it seemed a bit small. We had the fig pudding and the mint ice cream. Unfortunately, both desserts were a big disappointment. Throughout the meal we received excellent service and we loved the vibe and atmosphere of the place. We certainly would return but probably stay away from the desserts next time.
Blgorgrous restaurant! Live music for Sunday brunch! Maska chicken was delicious
The food was not as expected. Very plain flavors. Nice ambience.
Food was sooooooo good. I will be back here for sure. Service could have been better!
Cena de amigos , todos disfrutamos compartir una comida india muy buena,
The dinner was absolutely fantastic! One of the best meals we have had in a long time! We will definitely be back again very soon and highly recommend!
Good atmosphere and food.
Food and service by Alison was very good. The highlights of the Miami Spice meal were the Octopus Masala, the butter chicken, the sag paneer and the fig dessert. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because I think the restaurant should have served rice with the food. It's the only time in my life I've eaten Indian food and had no rice to soak up the fabulous sauce. I know the restaurant served Kulchas (bread) but IMHO the rice would have been nice. By the time the food arrived and we realized no rice was included, it was too late to order it as an extra as the food would have gotten cold. Other than that, it was fab and the wine we chose was delicious!
Todo lo del tandoor una maravillla , a lo demás le falto punch
We enjoyed all the food we ordered. For the appetizers we ordered spinach dosa, aloo cutlet and crab dumplings and for the main course paneer & chicken maska. All the dishes were flavorful and did not disappoint.
We were at Maska to celebrate our friend’s birthday and were very pleasantly surprised by the restaurant’s gesture at the end of our meal. The fig phirni was delightful. The birthday boy had a great evening. Thank you Maska!
Food is fantastic and so is the service
Nice Indian food. We had the cauliflower and octopus. Both were nice. Lamb shank was very nice. The butter chicken was delightful. The chickpeas were good too. The drinks were nice smooth and nice presentation. We had the martini w mango lasse and the
Mezcal drink. They drink prices were a bit steep. The paan is like an ice cream. We will be going back. However some suggestions. The music d-jay was too loud. There should papdum and the chutney sampler was disappointing. Eggplant? That’s not a chutney. The stuffed naan should have a sweet savory choice. Like raisin and onion or equivalent.
I was expecting a lot more from 1 Michelin star restaurant. We had a table and we were taken 20 minutes later, instead of picking up our drinks, we had to carry them to the table and pay at the bar. We had to be constantly asking the server for more drinks because they didn't ask us once if we need it anything else.
The food wasn't any better than any other Indian restaurant I have been, in fact I would say it was worse. As a person that lived in London for 12 years, being fooled with Indian food is quite a task. Overall I would said I was not impressed and I went with Miami Spice so I wouldn't pay the prices out of Miami Spice to go back there.
Great food and service
Great food. Best high end Indian food in town
Excellent food and service
It is a great place but it seems the AC was not working when I went and we had to wait 35 minutes to be seated, even though we had a reservation. Other than that. The food was great and so as the service.
Chef suddenly left during our lunch around 330pm today. Not sure why he did that when people were still eating. Food was good, portions very small for lunch. I would suggest ordering all 3 items on each course of the meal to get a better experience. You’ll pay more, but at least you’ll feel like it was worth the price you paid. The waiter knew something wasn’t going to sit right with the chef leaving so he tossed in an additional drink on top of the 2 we already ordered. I’ll probably try the place again, but skip the Spice Menu & just order a regular meal.
The food here was amazing! The Dosa tacos and the ice cream from the Miami spice menu. The decor and ambiance was beautiful. Would definitely come back
Fantastic surprise, both in terms of food and ambiance! The manager was very helpful with the menu and always very attentive to small details that made a huge difference! We highly recommend Maska!
Amazing food and great service! Staff was friendly and attentive
I loved the fact that the miami spice menú came with a cocktail! I’ve never seen that and I’ve tried so many spice menus. Drinks were delicious. Food portions were disappointingly small. Starters were underwhelming. The mushroom was like 2 bites. Entrees were excellent. The filled bread was very tasty. Ice cream was unique. Overall I liked it but I hope that you would get more food with the regular menu. I understand the small plate concept, but somehow this place just left us wanting more. I would give it another try.
OUTSTANDING!!!! Stunningly beautiful restaurant. Service is impeccable. I can not wait to go back. Enjoy! Cheers, P.
Too little food for the price, the portions are tiny and no rice, no naan, no nothing comes with the food. Thr food was decent but nothing special. The place was nice. The services was not attentive, and it was super slow. We were there 2 and a half hours for lunch. I won’t go back again. You get one change to make a good impression.
We were seated and quickly realized we could barely hear the waitress. So, we asked her if she could turn down the volume of the music. Turns out it was a live performer and management decided they could not ask her to reduce the levels, so we opted to leave as the "noise" level was simply uncivilized.
We wanted to try food from India, so what better time to go then for the Miami Spice menu!! Food was delicious!! Some of it we loved, some not so much as new flavors for us, LOL but all was prepared very well, and we stepped out of the box to try new food, so a fun time had by all!! All staff very welcoming, friendly, and willing to explain the menu and flavors!! Much appreciated!! Drink refills were done quickly, and the decor is GORGEOUS ...and did I mention how COMFY the chairs are ... you definitely want to check out Maska!!
Nice ambiance. Unique items on the menu. Tandoori branzino and malai chicken very nicely done. Starter portions too small . Service not organized. Expensive considering the portion size
Great food, great value for Miami Spice menu, very slow service.
Great food and great ambience. The food was very tasty, if you like spicy food this is the place. The place was very nicely decorated. I highly recommend it.
All of the food here is exceptional with unique flavors Peariant this restaurant is in Midtown Miami
If you like Indian food this is a must try on your list
5 stars all around. Finally Miami has a truly authentic first rate Indian restaurant!!!
Overall it was good. Could definitely be better for the price
Authentic Indian food. The plates are small
Compared to the typical portions you get served. The food is very tasteful, maska mule was delicious. The price is fair for the experience and the food’s quality.
Totally recommend it!
Delicious food, well curated menu and very good service. I've gone there three times and will be back!
Very good experience. Food was very good and the service was great.
We went at 6:30pm on a Saturday and enjoyed it enormously. Since it was early, we had a quieter experience and our wait staff were unhurried and made excellent suggestions. Unique and very yummy.
Best Indian restaurant in Miami for sure. Great fusion by a great chef!
The restaurant is very pretty, the food very good, our wait person was very sweet. However the wait staff has not been trained properly. Never once during our meal did our wait person stop by and say how is everything. Possibly if he did he would have noticed the following
dishes never cleared when food finished, which piled up and made the table very crowded, unsightly and uncomfortable, never a table surface cleaned from spills, water glasses were not refilled unless we asked and then the person came over and filled the 1 glass and not the others and we had to call her back. We had ordered our wine and had to ask another person to please bring our wine because we had already finished one course and it had not arrived.
We always want a restaurant to be successful, where money spent on design, food is very good and the staff in all likelihood very nice but management has not spent time training staff which obviously has very little experience.
Great service, great food, exceptional Sunday buffet! Will definitely go back!
