Mash'D/ Food, Moonshine, Life - San Antonio
Had a large party for my birthday. Easily accommodated and the service was great !
Our waiter Chris was great! He knew so much about the menu and suggested many good options for us being first timers. The atmosphere was amazing and everyone was so nice. Great food, drinks and vibe👍
David greeted us, confirmed our reservation, and sat us immediately -- very efficient!. Our waiter Chris had great recommendations and was prompt and efficient as well as personable and friendly.
Amazing food and great atmosphere!
This is one of the best places to eat in San Antonio. Great food and drinks. Service is excellent and would recommend.
We are frequent visitors to Mash’d, but this was the first time for brunch. It was fantastic. Food was flavorful and hot. Mimosas heavenly. My dad is in a wheelchair. His needs were accommodated quickly and professionally. A great occasion.
Restaurant did not honor our New Year’s Eve reservation made on open table.
We had to go to Maggianos after they said they were closing early.
New Years Eve
Had a late dinner with our family. The white bean hummus is strongly flavored with garlic and cilantro. The wicked hot wings were delicious but the flavor became a little one-note by the time I was done. The seasoned fried were excellent shoestring fries. The kids Mac and cheese was well made and not out of a box. The Caesar salad with grilled shrimp was also good. We were seated at a high-toned near the bar. The waitress was friendly and attentive but non-obtrusive.
Appetizer and meal were very good. Would return to try more of the menu.
Service was great! Food was delicious. Most of the portions are big. Stir fry was not filling. It was a little loud for my grandparents but I thought the place had a good casual vibe.
Our server was so attentive and very patient as we were waiting for the other half of our party to get there. The food was amazing and the mimosas were on point.
All four of us ordered different meals. Everyone thought their meal was delicious! Will definitely be back. A little loud.
Food was very tasty. Noise level is not for the older crowd. Had a reservation for 2 at 7:45, but that didn't stop them from seating another walk-in party of two ahead of us. We were seated at 7:50, so not a showstopper - it's just the principle of the matter.
I visited Mash’D with a small group of friends for a late lunch on Friday. The menu didn’t really appeal to me. The plates were simple with a little twist, yet a bit overpriced. For instance, a friend ordered the fried chicken and mashed potatoes, with a tasty jalapeño marmalade, for $15.00. I would recommend pulling up the menu before hand and seeing if any of the items really grab your attention.
Great brunch! Mash’D has the best value for plates - SO much food at really, really affordable prices. We sat outside on the patio and the servers moved heaters to make us comfortable without us even asking. They were very accommodating. Indoors was a bit lively for a group of gals catching up, but the patio was much quieter so we opted to sit outdoors. Food was great, as always. I’ve yet to have a bad experience at this place. You can always count on it for great food and big fun!
I went to Mashd with 2 guests and my 8 year old daughter. Food, service, and drinks were all very good. I’ve always had a great experience here. I’ll be back!!
It was my second time and it was still as delicious as ever. But my friends who had never been were so impressed! They definitely will be back.
First time going here after hearing locals rave about this place. Their recommendation was on point. This place has fair prices and the servings you receive justifies the prices. Anyone still thinking about coming here to eat? Don't think just go and enjoy the Chicken & Biscuits & $2 mimosas.
Loved this place. Food would have gotten 5/5 but I found a hair in my food. The manager however did come over and apologized immidiatly, brought another plate out ASAP and comped my food. I did 4/5 bc the other people I was with LOVED the food.
Excellent food! We orders 3 different meals and all were great! Drinks were mAde well. We will definitely be back
This is one of my favorite spots for brunch!
The food is awesome and you cannot beat the price of the mimosas!
Wait staff is always awesome!
Carlos was our server and was very pleasant. Thank you!
I found this restaurant though a friend and haven’t looked back. The menu is different and exciting. The wait staff is attentive and not over bearing. The food is great.
Customer service and food as great. It was loud so don’t take a first date.
This was my first time visiting Mash'd and I loved it! I wish you had a location in Austin.
Great atmosphere and the food was fresh and very tasty. Mimosas were great and very good value!
Food was great. Service was awes9me.
Terrible brunch. You HAVE to buy an appetizer if you want mimosas before noon so just go ahead and add another $14 to your check. They will NOT bring you free bread or chips so they can get around that rule. Waiter informed us that Mash’D got in trouble with TABC so now they have changed things. Good food overall but I will never go back for brunch. I will only come again for lunch or dinner.
Perfect for family and fun watching sports 😁 would recommend for lunch or dinner.
Definitely for Saturday or Sunday brunch.
82nd Birthday. Great experience!
Excellent food but music was too loud for lunch
The chicken and biscuits were amazing. The food was cooked to order and did not take a long time to arrive at our table. The menu listing was ample and the service was great. I will certainly return to try the Avocado Salad next. Overall great experience!
Too noisy for a group.
Absolutely fantastic brunch, a must do. The chicken and biscuits was among the best I ever had and you cant beat $2 Mimosa!! Try this on a Sunday for sure and it will become a weekly habit!! Great service and the reservation process skipped an hour and a half wait with no reservations
Great food at moderate but competitive prices. The ambiance at brunch was busy but relaxing. Thumbs up.
Since Mash’d opened it has been a go to for you. We celebrate there as a family! We had my son’s 21st bday! Love eating her. Crab Shrimp Volcano and chicken and biscuits are two favorites
I have to say the David Lee Roth Burger is one of a kind and makes the meal worth while ... but the waiter out did himself in being there and making an effort in speaking Spanish ... not needed but I guess the effort really counts and makes the visit unique.
