Buffet lunch is an excellent choice. There is a wide selection of food. The food is always flavorful, with choices of spicy, hot and mild. Service is good and the dining room is comfortable. I will definitely return.
It was fine overall, but we are not going back. The tables are too close to each other, I was constantly kicked by everybody who was passing by. The service was very slow and they brought my son's entree 15 min earlier than the rest of us...
We went in a party of 4 for a celebration and the food did full justice to the occasion! We left very satisfied with our choices which were Lamb Vindaloo, Chennai Seafood Curry, Shrimp Briyani and Okra, specifying Medium Spicy. In addition we had Rice, Naan and Raita. We ate it Asian style with central dishes so that each person had a meal balanced with flavors and nutrition. The chef was top notch and I was particularly intrigued with how they drew out the dried chilli and curry leaf flavor in the seafood curry. Absolutely superb!
For dessert we variously ordered rasmalai, gulab jaman, kheer and mango kulfi. Every one of those desserts enchanted. The mango kulfi was served as a round in 4 pieces with a sauce. It was a memorable meal and we are all devoted fans of Masala, planning to come back regularly. Of course the service was delightful and very responsive.
Very good food, especially the chicken teka massala! Nice service!
Best Indian restaurant in the area. Amazing service!
All good here. Tasty food, friendly service, easy parking and moderate prices. Especially liked the mutter paneer.
We got the lunch buffet, the food “ok”. It wasn’t that hot & the bread was stale.
American style food. Did not taste like Indian food. Staff was very nice though.
As if often the case with buffets, the chicken was a bit dry, and the goat curry had almost no goat in it. The thing that really annoyed me is that they do not service hot tea or coffee. Their only non-alcoholic beverage is water or ice tea.
We had a very large family group and Masala was very accommodating. The food was delicious!
I go well out of my way to eat here, the food is fantastic! The service has always been excellent, too.
There is no better Indian restaurant in the area. We love the food at Masala. It’s always delicious. We usually get take out, but last weekend decided to meet friends there. We don’t find the ambiance very pleasing. It feels almost like a cafeteria. The lighting is really bright and the music somewhat unpleasing while dining. The young servers are certainly kind and courteous, but we felt rushed. They could use further training in the proper way to serve and remove dishes from a table. There’s no need to reach across the table, in front of someone to clear a plate and then drop silverware on the diner. Again, the food is fantastic!
I have taken three different groups of friends there and will introduce still more. It is really a very good Indian restaurant.
We live in the neighborhood and enjoy the food and friendly service.
Very good North Indian/ Nepalese food cooked fresh. Portion size very fair and prices are very reasonable. Attentive service. A must for all those who enjoy this type of cuisine.
Dry enjoyable meal with our son and granddaughter who enjoyed the food and ambiance. Service was great
Delicious as always. Lovely presentation too. I was happy to find that they took reservations!
One of our favorite places.
Good food. Casual eating.
Great service and good option to have spicy food - we ordered the "spicy" curries and it was just the right amount of heat.
We go to Masala about once a week. The food is consistent and always delicious. A little more atmosphere would be nice but it’s fine for a casual meal out.
Just not their night. Service was really off. It took forever to get our food. We asked for separate checks up front, but this posed a real challenge for our waiter. Also, I ordered my dish spicy, but it was not. Too bad. When this restaurant is on, it is really great.
Great service, an extensive menu, great-tasting food. The additional of some Nepali items makes the menu more interesting than other local Indian restaurants. Low noise level made conversation easy.
Outdoor seating looked lovely but cut off wheelchair accessibility. Entered through the front door but had to move tables and chairs to get to our table. Would be easier to have access through the side door, if a curb cut could be made there. But the meal was worth the accessibility challenge - will return!
Pleasant surprise. Enjoyed our meal. Unassuming location. excellent selection of food options, great service, very tasty.
Excellent variety on the luncheon buffet. Pleasant waitresses. Reasonable for lunch buffet.
