the restaurant's sushi bar also is popular.
Try the tuna tartar with avocado on crispy wonton skins for lunch.
Masa is a great Asian-inspired seafood and sushi restaurant. Masa offers an elegant and stylish
dining experience in a serene setting that reflects its Asian influence.
Love this place. We visit every time we are in Tallahassee. The sushi is fresh and flavorful.
Our server was incredibly slow. We were seated at our table 10-15 minutes ahead of diners sitting around us. We were last to get drinks (no ice on a warm night), last to order and last to get food (not hot). We would have loved some sauces to go with our meal and none were offered. We would have loved ice in our drinks even if it was just water.
Masa remains my favorite restaurant for everyday dining. I have never had anything there that was not delicious. Prices are reasonable and the Honey Walnut Shrimp is my all time favorite. Keep up the good work!
The food was sooo good! Our server was the best!
My daughter, son and grandchildren were thrilled with their sushi!
My Thai curry was delicious.
The portions are very generous . So much so I had leftovers for lunch next day!
The service was slow but the server was nice and the food was great. Took way too long for the food.
good experience with a lunch get together. recommended location
The restaurant was clean and elegant. The environment was lovely and service was amazing. Food was great. Would definitely eat here again.
Great food, Great service. The Masa calamari is exceptional.
Our meal was delicious as always! The service was great too. My only complaint that day was it was hot in the restaurant.
Great food, excellent service. Loved the duck with red curry!
Great as usual. Lucy does a good job.
Masa has become my favorite local restaurant. I treated a friend to a birthday dinner and they were thoughtful enough to present us with vanilla ice cream with "Happy Birthday" spelled out on the plate with chocolate sauce. Both dishes ordered and my favorite Honey Walnut Shrimp were
simply delicious as usual. Keep up the good work, Masa!
Good variety of food served in a welcoming environment. Wait staff was attentive and kept my water glass full( a pet peeve of mine) Lots of food choices and the portions were good.
Overall good experience. It was a holiday, so I’m sure the crowds impacted our service.
I always love masa and it was no different with a large party. Same great service and food as always.
Our food was horrible. Hot and sour soup was cold, miso garlic salmon had no flavor, and we ordered the duck which was supposed to come with fried rice and a curry sauce. There was no curry whatsoever and the rice was white rice with soy sauce
Love this restaurant which I visit every time I travel to Tallahassee. I'm a big fan of both Thai and Indian curry food and Masa serves up some of the best Thai curry I've ever eaten. Great service, great new location on Monroe. Can't wait to come back soon! :-))
We were seated immediately at a great table. Although it was busy, the service was still excellent. You get a lot of food for the price, and everything we ordered was fresh and delicious.
Great sushi and entrees. Service is on point.
Always a great place to get dinner. The sushi is always fresh and never disappoints. By far the best sushi restaurant in Tallahassee.
Great atmosphere. Staff was amazing and so was the food. We enjoyed our meal.
Lobster roll was excellent
Sorry I was a bit disappointed. I remembered eating at Masa twice when it was at another location and it was outstanding. I did not enjoy my meal.
Birthday, service was fantastic, wait staff, bar staff very friendly, very prompt service. Thank you for making this a special occasion!
As usual, Masa delivers great food and service. I took a friend here (it was her first visit) as a thank you for a favor she did for me. She was obviously impressed and could not believe she had never been. She had what looked like a delicious salmon dish and I had my favorite, the honey walnut shrimp. Keep up the good work, Masa!
The food was inedible and the service was horrific. I had ordered a second glass of wine and 25 minutes later the waitress showed up with our check no wine and not asking if we want hung anything else. Do not eat here. Our worst meal of the trip.
Awesome place to eat. Been going to Masa’s for years.
I have eaten at restaurants owned or managed by the owner of this restaurant on average one time per week since 1986. I have had the same dish I had tonight many times but this was my first time here. It was the best I have ever had . Most places seem to start off with good food but go down hill with time. Masa has done the opposite, his good continues to improve
Great, as always. Apps, sushi, mango shrimp, molten cake....all delicious. Split the entre' and it comes to less than $50. Can't beat it.
We tried vegetarian lunch options which were provided in bento box. Food was great, server was extremely helpful in giving us an overview of all vegetarian options and also clarifying any doubts we had. Food was served within 15 minutes. Love the ambience and looking forward to visit them more often.
My family and I really enjoyed this restaurant. We went for my 22nd Birthday and the staff was great! Our waitress was fantastic!
Super tasty sushi as well as drinks! Would highly recommend
Food is good and consistent. The one who ordered sushi at our table said it was excellent. Reasonably priced. Nice presentation on salmon dish. Service was a bit inconsistent. As the restaurant got busier, the waiter had a little more trouble juggling. But we were in no hurry and enjoyed ourselves. Would go back.
We took our son and his friends out to dinner for their first meal away at college. The service was so slow it was non existent. They never cleared our appetizer plates. They didn’t bring us our second drink. They basically ignored us. The food was surprisingly pretty good though. Just took 2 hours to have our meal - with a reservation.
The staff were very nice although they forgot to check us in, our table was not nice as it was by the door literally. The food was mediocre at best, we had the spring rolls pretty decent, warm duck salad very average and over priced at $14 and then some curries and pot stickers the fried rice was horrible just over cooked stodge ... A decent wine pour though and attentive service, if they would just clean the tables better and up the food game to the next level , this place could be decent
Always a must when in Tally! Also love that they take reservations.
Brought some friends. They loved it. We always do. Get apps and split the entre.
Masa and staff are very accommodating for special occasions! The restaurant needs a bit of acoustical engineering, it’s a good place for loud dates or groups.
We went at 4:30 PM to get in and out. Was greeted with kindness and we were taken right to our table. Our food was great and our server Victoria did a great job and even helped us pick what to order. We need to go more often.
