Overpriced average food
Awesome brunch. The Bloody Mary was a bit wild for me with all the herbs and spices floating around but I can see how others might love it. Everything was nice except we had to sit near the door which meant we froze every time someone came in it left
Great place to dine out with family! Wish they had a vestibule though because if they seat you too close to the door during winter, it gets super chilly.
Food was tasty, but bordered on cold. Ambience was nice. Service was unfortunately rushed, with plates appearing within minutes of being ordered and being cleared as soon as our forks were down— not appropriate for a moderately expensive restaurant.
As usual, Masa's brunch does not disappoint. Great brunch cocktails, great Mexican-inspired brunch. Portions are good-sized and the free cornbread prior to the meals is amazing.
This place has been terrific since it opened in 1999. Food has always been consistent and delicious. I've been going to Masa for many years, and have never had a bad meal or a bad experience. They hit the nail on the head when they developed the concept for Masa. Bravo to the late Phil Aviles, and to all of those who work to fulfill his vision. I think he would be proud.
We love coming here, food is great and great value
Staff is super friendly and accommodating
Delicious food! We ordered the duck and the chicken enchiladas. The duck was so tender and flavorful. We also ordered a sangria margarita and a spicy blackberry margarita that wasn’t really spicy at all, but both great and strong! The food is a bit overpriced to go back multiple times, but we enjoyed our date night at Masa.
Amazing brunch food. Really great service from our waiter. Will definitely go back!
Similar to our prior brunch experience, our dinner dining experience was excellent as well. We tried the crispy octopus and tuna tartare as appetizers and shared the pork shank with white beans and roasted sweet potato for our entree; all dishes were outstanding. The margarita with chile-infused tequila was good but a bit heavy on the lime. Our waitress was knowledgeable regarding the menu and attentive. Masa has now been added to our list of go-to restaurants in the South End.
