We celebrated Thanksgiving a few years ago and it was really great. This thanksgiving, there was no soup starter (they were out), and nothing substituted. The prefix bill was also not adjusted for one less course. Overall, the food was fine, just not nearly as nice as past experiences.

We enjoyed a bottle of wine and a number of small plates. Everything was flavorful and interesting. The wait staff was very polite and helped us pick a few of the options. If I lived here I’d come here often!!

My wife and I reserved one of the private alcoves in the hotel lobby and enjoyed one of the most elegant and tastiest dinners we have had in years. The castiron mushrooms, lamb t-bones, and sea bass were perfectly prepared and delicious.

Wonderful choice of tapas. The bacon wrapped dates are amazing! If you don't want tapas, the regular menu is also very good. My companion ordered paella which he said was as good as "the real thing" he used to get in Panama. We will definitely return. A great place for a special celebration.

Since the first time at Mas Tapas, I have loved the Spanish style bruschetta. We even found that was not shareable as we each wanted the full one. After bragging about how wonderful the food is, I am extremely disappointing to say that the bruschetta was hard as a rock, you couldn't cut it, The bread was like a brick, but worse than that was the absence of the melt in your mouth dish. Since the over easy egg was also a rock, Chef Mark did cook a new one, and I wish someone would have come back to tell them what is on their menu and on the plate have no resemblance to the Superb original presentation. Big misstep here

Awesome! Upon entering, the air was enticingly filled with the aroma of delicious food. We loved it all and after seeing Chef Marc make the rounds of the dining room, he is obviously quite proud of his skills and his staff.

Ensalada de Espana was amazingly good with cold bacon. Paella was salty, it is good for 2. Carne asada bao buns-the arrachera steak was lukewarm, burnt is the other side, undercook on the other and then the inside was rare…

Celebrated our anniversary, staff were all so very kind and accommodating! Shouldve asked if parking would be vaidated but was not of any issue whatsover! Although food is mouthwateringly delicious I would caution that it is also extremely rich! I bellyached all evening. Self induced as I overindulged! Enjoy!

Food was great but service was horrible. Our server was snobby, slow and rude. I guess our server felt that since she was getting a 20% guaranteed tip because we were a party of 6, she don’t have to really work for her tip.

Definitely torn in whether or not I would go back. Definitely not worth the price of the food if it’s being serviced by rude people.

Great decor, excellent ambiance, and the dinner and wine menu are fantastic! Tapas were generous in potion, quite enough to share, and delicious! I will return and try different selections. I don't know why it took so long for me to finally make reservations at this wonderful restaurant.

This restaurant is located off the beautiful lobby of the historic Hotel Andaluz. The design of the restaurant setting is appropriate for either formal or casual diners and has some unique touches to set it apart from other restaurants. The menu is eclectic and creative, although it appeals more to meat lovers than vegetarians. Everything brought to our table was thoroughly enjoyed, but when I want seafood, I prefer that it's not paired with meat. One of the tapa selections was crab legs in a delectable sauce accompanied by, of all things, a huge Kielbasa sausage. I appreciate creativity, but that's one pairing that I found totally unappealing. Others did like the sausage, however, so I'm just giving the opinion of someone who prefers seafood. Overall seasonings were excellent and on the spicy side, but delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant for those who prefer well-prepared dishes that are not the usual culinary offerings.

Girls night out— we had a wonderful evening, with Kristen serving us, complementary tapa taste of Plantain chips and a lemon mousse (I believe). We shared the blistered shishito peppers and asparagus calabicitas, the mini corn tortillas were a nice touch. For dinner, we had the tomahawk pork chop, the diver sea scallops and the hatch green chili duck breast with absolute enjoyment. Every plate was presented beautiful and each ingredient complemented each other. A tip of our hat to Chef Marc Quinones! Definitely will be back for another evening!

The food was very good, as was the wine. It was likely due to COVID restrictions hampering the hours of service but we felt rushed. At the bar was last call at 9:00 and a spot light was turned on us by 10:00.

It was a Sunday night and the staff was probably tired and we get it but we’d planned this trip back in February. With the exception of James, no one seemed to be particularly happy to be there.

The dessert arrived looking like this.

The tapas appetizer was so over cooked we could not get a fork into the potatoes. We were given our money back. The Cuban sandwich was just okay. The chocolate cake was at least a week old. It was terrible. The wait staff would only say ‘we just work here’. The chef would not show and explain. Only three people at lunch time; apparently word is out this place is awful, it cost us $50 to get the word.

Food was heavy/overcooked and all tapas plates seemed to use the same spices. Margarita was weak (could not taste any tequila at all). Service is decent. Overpriced, like most hotel restaurants. Okay, but unfortunately, forgettable.

Our server seemed disinterested and we were disappointed in the food on this our second visit. The menu changed and the food was not nearly as tasty or as interesting compared to the meal we had several months ago when here. The combinations of flavors in many of the tapas dishes just didn’t work together.
