MÁS Tapas y Vino
Ambience and great staff...not to mention the tapas! Portions were generous! Staff very attentive. Everything so yummy!
Service was extremely slow and when food arrived it was cold and had to be sent back. Ordered 2nd drinks from server who neglected to place the order. Manager blamed being slammed for Balloon festival but when we pointed out all the empty tables he then blamed it on not bringing enough staff in since bookings weren’t great.
Great experience. Will come back!
Nicole was an amazing host and the food + wine is always great. We will be back, again!
A perfect recipe for a wonderful experience: exceptional service, comfortable ambience, and remarkably inventive, immensely satisfying, and extraordinarily delicious food. We enjoyed five tapas and shared a dessert. We couldn't pick a favorite because each was equally luscious. Our waitperson hit the sweet spot between attentive and mindfully unobtrusive.
We'll be back again and again.
Our server was very attentive. She took the time to get to know a little about us.
The best....for any special event. The artistry of their tapas selection is amazing. Venue is set in historic hotel. Stay for nightly weekend music.
Great food. Price is pretty reasonable. Very nice ambiance.
First time here, came down from Santa Fe for an event downtown, I'd drive down just to eat here; outstanding! My wife and I decided to try a number of Tapas to get an idea of what they offer but the 'full' menu has items that I'm also hot to try; overall an outstanding menu service and dining experience.
We've eaten at MasYTapas several times. We ordered a charcuterie plate(mixed cheeses and meat, prosciutto, olives, nuts.I would say on precious dinner here the platter had different olives, this one seemed like the green olives in a can.Cheeses and meats were good. Also had tapas, bacon wrapped dates, yummy, like candy. The big disappointment here was dessert, really awful deconstructed key lime pie, that was just a meringue with some lavender pieces.$10 for nada.In this restaurant I would expect great dessert. We had dessert on the way home
High quality unusual food. Bacon wrapped dates were my favorite!
There was good and there was so-so. The bacon-wrapped dates were delicious! Other food items were underseasoned. Sangria was excellent. Service was ok, not great.
This resturant has gone from a favorite to mediocre and back. I was hopeful with the new chef that it was back to its former glory day. Went Sat evening with a friend. Morgan our server was very helpful and made good suggestions. The bacon wrapped dates and peppersteak were both wonderful. the foie gras was mediocre and the bread/olive oil were not that good. we were given a free dessert since the dishes came out over a very long period (2 hours). Needs to be more consistent with the tapas quality. still willing to give it another try but that may be the last.
Outstanding service, hostess and bartender drinks.
There were four of us,and we all shared a variety of very nice tapas.
It was pricy, but it was a great venue for visiting with long friends whom we hadn't seen for a long time.
I enjoyed the spaciousness of the dinning room and the open kitchen. Sitting in a booth is always a charm. Our server, Sarah server was very knowledgeable on the preparation of the meals and wine selections. She was also very joyful which is a nice plus. The tapas incorporTe the southwest cuisine on some of the selections for example the shrimp and chorizo in a bed of red chili is delightful. The homemade pita and eggplant as one of three dips is not to be missed. The scallops may be the most tender and perfectly grilled paired with an Israel couscous. The servings are fairly portioned so that there is room for dessert and the chocolate cake is moist and milk chocolate sauce is quite good. Highly recommend!
First trip to the restaurant. Now will be our #1 in Albuquerque. All of the staff from start to finish was most excellent. Rudy our waiter was exceptional and has a great knowledge of the food and wine to go with. Do not pass this fantastic restaurant up!
The food was delicious. Appreciate they serve small dishes tapas, as well as regular entrees. The service provided by Meghan was outstanding. She answered questions, provided suggestions, and was readily available but not intrusive. Overall a wonderful restaurant.
Absolutely wonderful atmosphere, food, service and value.....!!!....Would recommend to all my "foodie" friends.....Great restaurant in a fabulous Hotel....
Overall a very good experience. I was disappointed with the Classic Paella as it was more of a tomato tasting base than a saffron flavor. I was told the chef added cayenne, which didn't make sense to me since classic paella doesn't use cayenne and it was hard getting used to the different flavor. Also got a clam that wasn't open and shouldn't have made onto my plate. But, the wine, tapas and the other dishes that were served were very good. I would go again and just have the tapas next time.
Absolutely outstanding dinner! Christopher Rambicure gave top notch service. Arcy is great as usual behind the bar. Loved it all, thank you!
The service, atmosphere and desert were great. The food left a lot to be desired.
Wow what a bang for the buck
Visiting Albuquerque and staying at the Hotel Andaluz, we were intrigued by the menu at MAS. We ended up being delighted by the inventive and expertly prepared meal. The arugala salad with panzanella, lamb t-bone steaklets and pork secreto were perfect 10/10. The octopus (we are octopus addicts) was tender and the long beans and garbanzos unusually and wonderfully prepared; only the strong flavors of the sauce overpowering the octopus made it less than perfect.
I wish we had a MAS in our hometown!
Great food! Great staff! Great price for the money! The bar upstairs and the patio are superb!
One of the best restaurants in which I've ever eaten ( and I'm not one to heap superlatives).. The dishes are creative, but remember they ARE tapas, and are meant to be savored and shared. The service is leisurely as well as it should be. This is a destination, set in the beautiful Andeluz Hotel where Conrad Hilton started his chain; and where Zza Zza Gabor married his son Nicky years ago. One should not be in a hurry, but rather settle in for a wonderful evening of fabulous food. There are so many options and combinations of tapas that it's going to be a different experience for all who go there---but GO there if you have the chance. The staff couldn't be more helpful and the food will send you over the moon.
Outstanding food and impeccable service. Sit in Rudy’s section, start with the empanadas, and move down the lists from there. There is an amazing array of rich and light dishes and how the coconut key lime dessert is vegan blows the mind. Lovely wine list too. Cheers!
Amazing food! Great service, will always be back when we visit Albuquerque.
We are in town for an appointment and picked this place off of open table. The food was delicious. Service (Christopher) was amazing. We are the Brussel Sprouts, pork ribs and Lamb T bone. All prepared and plated beautifully. Great wine selection, and desserts the lavender cream with granola. OUT OF THIS WORLD. Thanks for a great dining experience.
Awesome service. Can't believe the little casbas . Super fun.band was great.
This is our favorite restaurant in Albuquerque. The menu is sublime. We usually share a series of tapas with our guests. The staff seems to magically appear with a new plate just was we have finished the last. They understand pace and only arrive when/if there is something that needs to be accomplished.
The chef and his team at Mas create spectacular dishes from appetizers, through the entree and into the dessert.
We also had breakfast at the restaurant and, again, the meal was terrific.
We had a great experience. Great service, very well kept, awesome food.
We were celebrating a birthday breakfast at MAS. The restaurant was understaffed (one waitress) and she let us know she worked at their rooftop lounge but got called in because there was no coverage. She was sweet and tried hard, but we waited almost an hour for the food to come. This was after mentioning to the management at the 40 minute time pass of our concern. Quality wise the food was good. The manager comped the meal because of the slow kitchen (there were only two other seated tables). He knew timing was off and we had a horrible experience. But he also knew enough to try to make amends instead of make excuses.
This place was fabulous. Located inside a Hilton Curio Collection hotel, the food was amazing--from the cheese plate to the most impressive and delicious pork chop I've ever had! The chef is inventive and obviously loves his work. We were too full to get dessert the first night, so we went back the following night to have dessert and coffee for dinner! If you're in ABQ for just a dinner or two, don't miss Mas Tapas y Vino!
Best tasting and most beautiful pork chop I've ever had. The chef is amazing!
Rooftop is a great option and they have the full menu. Everything was solid, ate here twice already in my brief stay at the Hotel. This is in the hotel. But the food is great, salad was very fresh and tasted local, crispy brussel sprouts were great too had an impossible burger and great wings. All was great and so is the beer. Ambiance is best on the roof.
MÁS Tapas y Vino was a treat after a long day. The menu was one of our favorites as it offered so many small plates to share. They offered over 20 open wines for drinking which made pairing a lot easier.
Only the waiter service could have been better. Ir's been excellent in the past.
Everything else was top of the line, truly superb! Giving five stars is almost never for us.
Not impressed with the food or atmosphere. We were expecting more of a wine bar feel.
It was good
Very good food but the menu they gave us at the restaurant was different than the one given to us on the website. I liked the websites menu better. Also, our waitress would disappear a lot. There were a few instances where I had to get my own sugar, salt, and pepper. Overall, the food was good, just don't go expecting to pay less than 50 for breakfast for two people.
