    I have eaten here before and this time I was disappointed. The rice was crunchy and rather boring. We had the queso dip. It was runny and not very good. I did enjoy my cilantro and lime margarita. My chicken fajitas were delicious. My husband has an enchilada, which has too much cilantro for his taste. I thought it was good.

    We've eaten at Mas Amore several times and have never been displeased -- last night was no exception. We like that the dishes are not prepared exactly as you find them in the normal Mexican restaurant (although we like those dishes as well). I have to give special kudos to the wait staff especially. I have a few fairly severe food prep limitations limited oil, butter, whole milk products) which rule out many Mexican dishes. The wait staff is always very willing to work with me and the kitchen staff to help meet my requirements for a good food experience.

    The atmosphere was awesome, food was ok but wasn’t authentic like I thought, the price of food was overpriced. The service was great. We gave it try and probably won’t go back.

    Mas Amor is always a hit, we ate outside and it was perfect weather! Food and drinks are always consistent and delicious! This was our 2nd visit in 2 weeks and will probably be back again in 2 weeks!

    Awesome experience. Beautiful, light and airy atmosphere. Food was delicious. Very accommodating as we had our 2 year old with us and she does best in a booth. Our waiter was delightful. Food was served quickly and hot.

    The food was amazing, the energy and aesthetics of the place were outstanding. However, our waitress sucked. Maybe one refill in the hour and a half we were there, we had to physically go get the water pitcher ourselves from the counter to fill up our own drinks because our waitress barely checked on us. Overall would come again, just would wish for a better service.

    I think we picked a bad day. We went Cinco de Mayo, and the flies took over our table on the inside. Spent time swatting flies the entire time until we decided to take it to go. General Manager was very kind and apologetic. Waiter...not so kind and we tipped him extremely well since our meal was complimentary. Experience wasn't so good. Food was mediocre.

    Everything was phenomenal. We had a great server, asked for his recommendations on food, took his advise and both meals were excellent. Also got dessert and it was great. We ordered drinks, meal, and dessert and were in and out in less than 45 minutes.

    Service was slow, drinks were not good, food was good. This place was amazing when it opened but slowly has become less desirable on every visit. I know labor is tough in this area right now but its moving in the wrong direction, getting worse not better.

    Used to recommend Mas Amor left and right for good Mexican food in Hickory. After last night, not sure if I want to give it another try. Wife got the Queso-Birria Tacos, I got the Birria Enchiladas, The Birria was brown, same with the consume cup. It tasted like pork roast with flavorless gravy. Birria, especially the consume should always be red or at the least have a reddish tint. I let it go because hey, I'm up for something new if it taste good - it tasted awful. The Tequila flights which I used to LOVE have been downgraded, instead of them coming with mini cucumbers that are hollowed out and filled with Chamoy and rimmed with Tajin, they just give you two Tajin covered limes :( . Seems Mas Amor is headed in a cheap, fast paced direction. For the price that should NOT be the case. We frequented Mas Amor last year, moved to California for 9 months and come back to a total change of one of our favorite spots. Probably won't be returning sadly as my wife and I used to love this place.

    Restaurant was virtually empty and we were sat at a very small table for 4 instead of a larger table. They did eventually move us. Because they leave the bar door open there were flies everywhere and it was hard to enjoy the meal because we were swatting flies. It is kind of gross to have flies landing on your food when you are trying to eat. It is also very noisy even with few people in the restaurant. The music was extremely loud. I usually love this restaurant and always give the food rave reviews, but the flies ruined it for us all.

    My new favorite! Unique and tasty food. Street corn and tequila lime butter is unbelievable! Service was good. I would like to see them lose the mask so that I could hear them better.

    We had a great evening at Mas Amor.Our server was informative and efficient. The menu is extensive and our meals were delicious with generous servings. The ambience is light and very pleasant- the live wall is especially stunning. We certainly will return, and will recommend Mas Amor to our friends.
