Always classy elegant dining at Mary Mahoney’s. Food and service top-notch. Nothing else comes close.
Very nice ambiance to this old restaurant that resides in a building that is approaching 300 years in age. Wonderful French cooking, great service, beautiful surroundings. We celebrated our 25th anniversary there and would definitely choose MM again.
I have been here several times before but this was my best experience. The food and service was excellent on a night that they were very busy. Our server, I think it was Natalie, was spot on with meeting our every need, knowing the food and bar menu and wasn't overbearing. I will be back.
We sat at our table for 15 minutes without a server checking on us. The couple that came in after us had been greeted, brought a drink menu, and were brought their drinks. Once we saw that we left. Very disappointed and very bad experience for our anniversary dinner.
I was introduced to Mary Mahoney's Old French House by my brother when I first moved to Biloxi. It quickly became my restaurant for special occasions. This week I had friends visiting who share my interest in great dining. Randy took care of us and was everything we could hope for in wait staff. The food, as is always true, was superb. I would recommend Mary Mahoney's to anyone who appreciates fine dining.
My husband ordered the stuffed flounder and I had the blackened salmon and they both were amazing. Our waitress was polite, efficient and saw to our needs without making us feel rushed. The key lime pie was divine! We will definitely be back on our next trip to Biloxi.
Best gumbo I’ve ever eaten,Had wonderful fried shrimp. Expensive but worth every cent.
Wife’s birthday weekend trip. Wonderful meal, warm and courteous service. When in the area will definitely dine here again.
It was all that friends and family said it would be.
Would recommend going early while the shops are still open.
Waiter was very friendly and helpful. Loved the traditional attire of the staff. It added to the ambience.
Seafood was delicious. Stuffed red snapper was wonderful. Loved the new martini with lemongrass.
A very unique dining experience. Enjoyed seeing pictures of all the famous people who have dined at the restaurant.
A must if you are in Biloxi!
Great food. My only complaint is that they have a very limited menu. Only a house salad (no other salads available) and only one side available.
The food and the service was outstanding. We’ve never had anything but excellent meals here. The staff is very friendly.
Mother’s Day Dinner with spouse
Best seafood gumbo anywhere! Susan and Arthur made our night. Hope to be back soon.
The food was amazing, and service was good. I loved the atmosphere, but wish they would've had some sort of background music playing, as the sounds of everyone's voices was a bit monotonous at times. I very highly recommend Mary Mahoney's for a very nice dinner experience.
First course dinner salad with spicy Olive tomato homemade house dressing not good. Iceberg lettuce buried under a few fresh spinach leaves. Chardonnay served in a wine glass not representative of an upscale restaurant. We did not enjoy our $38 Stuffed flounder and red fish with pasta and etoufee sauce. If you like fresh clean food this is not your place. Most dishes have crab topping or stuffing that appears to come out of a can.
Escargot appetizer was worsestershire drenched, dark brown. Could taste the expected better/herb normal taste. Lobster imperial was dry couldn't describe "imperial" (signature preparation); delivered regular butter pads when asked for drawn butter ("oh - you mean MELTED butter"). Megan was pleasant enough, but I'll prepared for the job (the waiter at the next table seemed wonderfully capable). When we spoke to mgr (Bill?), he was quick to point out it was her first night out on the floor, but overall seemed uninterested in our unhappiness (we'd already paid the bill). As a newly retired couple who regularly dine out at higher end restaurants (this was $40 range entrees), the food and service left a LOT to be desired. There are a lot of other dinner options in the Gulf region - this will not be one we return to.
Loved Mary Mahoney's! I had the stuffed red snapper and my husband had the prime rib, both were delicious. We had the cutest server, I'm not sure of her name but she is a sweet red haired girl! She was very informed about all dishes, wines etc. Not to mention a great personality. We will be back.
We were celebrating our 30 year anniversary. We had excellent service. Food was great. Our waiter His name O was awesome
My favorite restaurant. It is a littlw pricey but so worth it. Consistently the best food and atmosphere.
So much charm this place is a must if you’re in town ! Reasonable prices , huge portions
The best food ! Steak & seafood, it is all wonderful !!
We love Mary Mahoney's. The service, food, ambience, everything is wonderful!
Very dated food and decor, feel like in its glory day it was special, but not the case anymore. Very very mediocre food, lacked seasoning and just a disappointing experience.
Food was great. Our server Fred was very professional. Excellent service!!!
My wife and I had a wonderful lunch at Mary’s. I had gumbo and soft shell crab over linguine with sun dried tomatoes. My wife had a shrimp and crab au gratin. Great meal!
Delicious food and a wonderful wait person. What more could you want?
Dined here twice the week I was in Biloxi. Both times an awesome treat. The stuffed snapper was awesome. I also recommend the crab claw appetizer. The praline Sunday was yummy. They don’t have a wheel barrow to roll you out. If you’re lucky enough you’ll hear a joke or two. Lots of history. Loved this place. So awesome.
Favorite restaurant when we visit Biloxi. Excellent service & food
We always come here for celebrations. This time it was our 41 wedding anniversary. My wife always orders whole stuffed flounder. It is always very tasty. We also had char grilled oysters. Compared to Drago's in New Orleans they are very different. Both are good, but I prefer Drago's. Yours are different. I found them to be oily with too much butter. But I still liked them.
We will return again and again.
The only thing negative is that our meal was served with brocolli with no notification of it. I would prefer a choice. We did not touch it.
Thank you for another hapoy celebration.
We love Mary Mahoney's Old French House.
We usually drive over at least twice a year and always to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
The food is always spectacular but the service we received Saturday night was amazing.
Our waitress anticipated every need and made remarkable recommendations.
It was truly another Fine Dining experience.
We had an excellent meal and excellent over all experience at Mary Mahoney's last night. Even though they were very busy, service was prompt and attentive. The Crabmeat Remoulade was a very generous portion of crabmeat, and the Lobster Georgo was delicious, as always.
We had a wonderful time, delicious meal, great seating on the porch..I cant say enough about our waiter John Paul..fabulous
Server was excellent.
Tall slender African-American that waited on our table of 10.
As good as any I have had working by himself.
Absolutely delicious and the staff was wonderful!!!!
Dinner at Mary Mahoney’s was OUTSTANDING! Our waiter, Tony, was AWESOME! He was very attentive and answered all our questions. Our appetizer was the petit soft shell crabs. Delicious! We split the stuffed trout, at Tony’s suggestion. The house made bleu cheese dressing was excellent. We will definitely return!
I ordered the salmon. Fish was excellent! Etoufe was awful and not edible. Disappointed in the bread pudding as well. Strong taste of nutmeg and not enough bread pudding flavor.
Fabulous food and surroundings!
My wife and I, along with another couple, genuinely enjoyed ourselves. The service was good, atmosphere delightful, and food delicious. The only drawback was the prices were overlying expensive. Great experience!!
ALWAYS love Mary Mahoney's, no matter what day or time of day we visit!
