Very nice dinner, gumbo was outstanding as was the stuffed snapper. The st Patrick was good although I felt the sauce overwhelmed the fish and was not as garlicky as I expected after reading menu. Overall Mariah provides great service and the evening was terrific.
Mary Mahoney's is absolutely wonderful on all levels. Cuisine, cuisine choices, ambiance, history, decor, service, drinks, all were fantastic! Of call loved Susan, the hostess, for her wonderfully Southern Hospitality. I will return soon.
Great food, great service! Can’t wait until we go back. The god was outstanding. I also took a frozen gallon of the best gumbo I have ever had home with me.
My husband and I enjoyed our lunch at Mary Mahoney’s Restaurant. The food was fabulous and the ambiance was great. We sat at a table in the room with all the windows and it was perfect afternoon lunch spot!
Always one of our favs!
My mother-in-law, daughter and I had a great dinner on Friday night. Devin was so attentive! The food was spectacular. We loved the ambiance! Such a treat for us!!
Mary Mahoney's is my favorite restaurant on the planet!!!! The food is always outstanding and service usually outstanding, we have had Fred wait on us for years but now as he has gotten older he prefers not to handle 10 or more guest at one table.
We had Frederick instead and he was nice but extremely quiet, we like a waiter that is engaging and fun.
Excellent service and my Tuna was outstanding. Well worth the trip.
My birthday dinner was fantastic!
Service was excellent, food was plentiful and very good. Parking sucked, was full didn't cater to customers.
What a great restaurant. Amazing food. Great service. Great history.
Beautiful restaurant in a charming old home!! Service was excellent! Fresh red snapper and shrimp with a wonderful creamy Worcestershire sauce topped with lump crab meat were delicious entrees!! Highly recommended for a special dining experience!! Bread, salad and fresh vegetables were included, starting to disappear at most high end establishments today!!
Always one of my favorite special places. For the first time. I was disappointed. My brothers snapper was under cooked. My shrimp and lobster "Gergio was tasty but lacking in the amount of lobster. For $90 a person including taxes and tip, it was to say the least not what I expected.
Orantiel is a terrific server. Crab claws, crab-stuffed shrimp, bread pudding. This is an apex of seafood taste. Love it. It never fails to impress.
Good Service, friendly. The food was excellent but a bit pricey for the amount given.
The food was not hot so made the food not good filet taste like roast beef just not much seasoning salad plain just not my type of restaurant like my food hot
Our server Nigel was very friendly and did a great job. Food was really good.
Wonderful old house built in the 1700’s. Seafood is the Bomb.
As usual we weren’t disappointed, from the minute we walked in until we left, total enjoyment
This place still holds up its reputation of fine food and drink as it has for many, many years. Times are changing, but the food here remains incredible.
Asked my wife to marry me at Mary Mahoney's twenty two years ago. The food, service, and atmosphere is terrific. It is so nice to sit down to an outstanding meal, knowing everything will be right, and if it isn't, they will make it right. I've driven to Mary Mahoney's more than once from my home in Gulf Breeze, Florida, and will continue to do so. The soft shelled crabs, gumbo, oysters, and deserts are incredible. Thank you Mary Mahoney's for an unforgettable dining experience.
Service was great! The crab claw appetizers were the best I’ve ever eaten.
We have enjoyed several excellent dining experiences at Mary Mahoney’s over the years and that is why we came back to celebrate our 51st anniversary.
I ordered a cocktail and before I finished it, the wine we ordered for our meal and our salads were on the table. Our main course arrived before we finished our salads; I was still working on my cocktail! Because this was our anniversary celebration, we received one complimentary dessert. It was on the table before we finished our main course!
We felt rushed thru the entire dining experience. The rush job was very unsatisfactory! I highly recommend Jazzeppi’s.
Service was poor. I feel they are running on their old reputation. Food was fine
The food was great as always. We had a very good, friendly waitress who didn’t hover but was always right there when we needed something. The restaurant and restrooms are always clean, and the grounds are very nicely landscaped with beautiful plants and flowers. The bar is in an area where noise from the bar is not a problem. We will definitely continue to eat here whenever we can
I have fond memories of several fine dining experiences at Mary Mahoney’s and it pains me to rate them anything but excellent.
My problem was that the “catch of the day” did not taste or look fresh.
I visit this restaurant a good bit when I travel through the areaand am surprised the service was terrible. Food was good. I think our server was distracted. We had to remind him to bring ordered wine to our wives. Butter was served but no bread despite specifically requesting it when our entrees was served. The server acknowledged my request but still no bread. We were celebrating my wife’s birthday as well as the sale of property in Ocean Springs. I would not recommend it to a friend but may give it a chance again but will request a specific server if I visit again.
Wonderful atmosphere, food was not good. Crawfish etoufee was old, brown and tasted toxic. Twice stuffed potatoes were without flavor. $39 Entrees were bland at best. Extremely disappointed.
Fantastic meal, as always. Our waiter Tony was THE best. Super friendly, knowledgeable and just a pleasant man. Can't pass up the opportunity to go to Mary Mahoney's when in the Biloxi area. We don't.
Delicious food with large menu.
Food was bland and overpriced. Wifes steak had no flavor. Shrimp and crab au gratin was nothing special, lacked seasoning. Service was great. Ambiance was good.
We were in Biloxi with a large group. Made reservations and had a private room. “O” waited on us and was courteous and entertaining. Couldn’t have asked for better. Bob Mahoney entertained us with his stories and jokes and we felt like family by the time we left. Each of the 12 of us ordered a different dish and we were all thoroughly carried away by the quality of the food! It was fabulous! Can’t wait til next time!!!
Anniversary dinner- Mr. O was outstanding. Great meal.
Old line French/French Creole experience in a classic setting with a classic level of service. Worth the experience.
I celebrated my 50th Birthday by having dinner here and it was an excellent meal.
Horrible worst ever for food or service. Don’t waste your time or especially your money, tourist trap.
Service was excellent. We were having an anniversary dinner and it couldn’t have been better. Our server was the best. He knew the menu from cover to cover. Really enjoyed his recommendations. The atmosphere was really nice. The walls had so much to see we wanted to just look at every room. We definitely will be back.
Excellent ambience; good food, and good service. I would recommend a stronger coffee though.
The food was Amazing, but the service not to par with a fine dining restaurant.
