Martin Fierro Restaurant
Instead, Martin Fierro is an Argentinean and Uruguayan parrillada — or steakhouse — and it’s the ideal place to go and sit around a table with friends, drink some South American merlot and gorge on deliciously juicy grilled meats. Martin Fierro Steak House cooks its meat on an open fire grill, also known as parrillada.
mi steak estaba mal hecho, sabia mucho a sangre, le faltaba sal o algun sabor,
no hiria de Nuevo ni lo recomendaria
Excellent as always! Libby is a wonderful server...she is efficient and sweet! Food is so different from the normal Naples fare.
We had dinner reservations at 7:00. When we were seated the very strong sun was in the eyes of 2 diners facing the front door. We asked to change our seats and there seemed to be an issue with us moving to the table up front. I understand it was for 6 but we couldn’t see because of the sun. The restaurant needs blinds to close out the setting sun.
Disappointed, myself and a guest ordered the Rib Eye, it was fatty and chewy.. Normally they serve French fries in a cone but have changed format and now serve them on the same plate as the meat, meat juice of course ran into the fries leaving them soggy and unappealing. I’ve been to Martin Ferro’s many times and have told friends about this little jewel.. I will be hesitant to recommend this restaurant in the future.
Everything was Excellent!
This was our first time to this restaurant. We loved the food. The waitress was so nice and helped us with the selections. We liked the wine. The Churrios and espresso were the best. We will definitely be coming back here.
Food was excellent however I think they make have been short staffed. Took several requests just to get water and bread for the table. The staff on hand really hussled but there were just to many customers
We loved it! Delicious food, warm and welcoming ambiance, and live music. Looking forward to returning!
Excellent food, the best outside skirt steak...very good service
Went because we were with a friend who has spent quite a lot of time in Buenos Aires. Grilled steak was very good and a reasonable price ($26, as I recall). Each of us had two slices, and in all three cases one was excellent and one good. [We did taste tests! Different diets for cattle? Different qualities of meat?]
Empanadas were meh. Veggies fine and nicely cooked. Music by guitarist was not Argentinian/Spanish (Beatles), but he and his playing were pleasant enough.
The original location was darker, cozy and much more Argentinian in feel/atmosphere. I hadn’t known they had moved, so this was a disappointment and I may be being overly harsh in this review because of it. (I had billed it to our guest as ‘...a little bit of BA in Naples’.)
When arrived, lights were way too bright, reflecting off shiny white paneled walls. (They did turn down on request, but not enough to provide my idea of conviviality.) Service was enthusiastic and friendly, but I wish servers wouldn’t interrupt guests who are in full flow of lively conversation, or at least find a way to break in less abruptly.
All in all, I would go back for a slice of steak, but not a slice of authenticity.
Great food! The steak was absolutely excellent, and the sangria is very tasty and has just the right amount of sweetness. Staff is very friendly. Price is just right!!
Our first time there and the food was delicious. Authentic empanadas and delicious steak. All the staff were friendly and Caroline was wonderful. I understand they get slammed on Saturday nights, but it was quiet and quick on a weeknight.
Quite the find, excellent experience
We will be back I am sure
Food was excellent just took awhile to get it.
Delicious food! Try the hanging gaucho--fantastic. The watermelon salad was delicious! Excellent service, good live music. It is a happy atmosphere. You can tell everyone is enjoying their dinner very much and the staff is very friendly. We are never disappointed here!
Short ribs were stringy & dry- vegetables were very oily & over cooked- fillet was way too salty - would never go back or recommend!
This place never disappoints. Their food is great and the people are really nice. They had entertainment the night we were there and while the gentleman with the accordion played some really nice music, it did make conversation somewhat difficult. Still, we'll definitely return - their food is too good not to try again.
The service was great and it is a cute little restaurant. A few of our meals were ok but others had meat that was tough.
We love the relaxed and friendly atmosphere of this restaurant. The food was delicious, we shared the Meat Lovers Parillada, but their Churrazco steak also looked amazing, either way you can't go wrong. The service is like being in a friends kitchen, everyone is very friendly and accommodating. Definitely worth a try!
Our server was lovely and the food very tasty!!
Just a wonderful flavorful ribeye steak... we tried several sides and they were all great. Good service.....good meal...would certainly go there again!
Best Filet Mignon around. Decor is white and chrome. Wait staff was very friendly and helpful. Food came in a reasonable time. Our favorite places for steak in Naples.
Service was slow. Salad never arrived. Wine pour very small. Kebab over cooked.
Food was good, people were nice but the waitress didn’t understand some things. We got two orders when we asked for one, she misunderstood a few other things and it was costly$. Made a special reservation for our anniversary and they didn’t even know about it so that was disappointing since it was 65 mile drive to surprise my wife and it didn’t work out. they did try to make up for it which was nice but we had to stand in the dining room kind of hanging out while they setup a table. All in all don’t think we will be back since, one it’s a long drive and two. we have a place we like for that kind of cuisine on Colonial.
Wow what a great steak. Grilled on real hot coals. They had veggies grilled on the coals also, amazing. The favor of the steak was far better than anything I had the chain steak houses. I had the porterhouse steak medium well done. Calamari was so tender also. Great wine selection. The restaurant has been updated to a brighter atmosphere.
I think they are trying to be something they are not. Either they cater to Italian people or Argentinian people.
If you like meats, this is the place. Fabulously prepared Meat Lovers Parillada. Enjoyed it immensely. Table top grills kept things hotter during the meal. Don't be fooled by the location, the food is great!
We had an amazing dinner here! Our server, Libby, was wonderful! So kind and friendly. She made our evening even more special with her lovely demeanour. Great food and fabulous service! Thank you Libby!
After reading reviews on several websites, I was somewhat puzzled why so many reviews raved about Martin Fierro. I had the trout and it was okay. I had the mixed veggies which were not as described on the menu, meaning, it didn't contain any zucchini or yellow squash, it was 98% green beans. My husband had a steak and really liked it. Our friends shared scallops and chicken, both were okay but nothing special. We agreed the red sangria tasted watered down. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.
This is becoming one of our go to places.... the food is always good and the service is excellent.... love the empanadas.....
Delicious steak. Great service
The rib eye steak was delicious, cooked to the perfect medium. Choose the roasted vegetables and a glass of malbec-great! The atmosphere is friendly, welcoming and casual.
Four of us had dinner here last night and really enjoyed the food and service. I felt like I was dining in Buenos Aires because they had a large open grill right at the entrance to the dining room. The meats were delicious. Two of us had traditional Milanesa, done Neapolitan style with mozzerella cheese, ham and basil. It was huge, easily enough for two persons. Another had the lomo, perfectly grilled medium rare and my wife had grilled trout. Salads were fresh and delicious and big enough for 2 or 3 o share. Service was very quick. Wine list was predominantly Argentine. Most of the customers appeared to be Spanish speaking adding to its authenticity. We will become regulars here, it was that good!
The service was really good. Our waitress made suggestions that were appreciated. She was very welcoming and treated us like guests in her home. The food was delicious. Very fresh and tender. The chimmy sauce was amazing. It was perfect on everything. We will definitely be back and will recommend it to our friends.
Always our favorite place to go! Outside skirt steak, grilled chicken and lamb lollipops are always ordered at our table. We are regulars and have never had a bad meal.
super delicious!! We were disappointed because they were out of ceviche. However everything else was so yummy that we will return to enjoy the food another time
The food was pretty good but our service was not good. Also, I would not recommend having the live music. It's just too crowded and he takes up room and it's very difficult to talk because of the noise.
Great food and service. Pretty noisy
Incredible loud atmosphere. Could hear nothing but background noise. Food portion large but of a tough and chewy nature. Of a secondary quality to me. Wait staff tried hard but poorly trained. Using a tableside machine for the bill, a larger than ordinary tip is very strongly urged on you. Restrooms inadequate for seating capacity and located in their storeroom. Parking adequate.
