   Quaint restaurant with really good food. Everything tasted homemade and delicious and the service was great.

   Our breakfast was fantastic, my only criticism was I ordered the Cheesy Grits; they were SO thick they were hard to even get off the spoon. I brought this to the server's attention--she took them away and credited our order so no harm no foul. The Coffee Cake plus the coffee were outstanding and the wait staff could not have been more personable. Definitely will come again!

   First time here, we were in town for a pre-graduation brunch at nearby UMBC. The staff was very welcoming and made us feel at home and the food was delicious! We hope to return sometime soon.

   Excellent food at a reasonable price. Lots of choices for everyone! Worth the drive - we will be back.

   Food was tasty yet not hot. The maple butter was delicious. The server was working the front and the few occupied tables. First time visiting the restaurant.

   Thanks for the feedback. While I'm glad you liked your food, I'm disappointed it didn't arrive hot. I will re-train our staff to make sure food gets out hot.

   We were seated and waited about 15 minutes for a cappuccino and an iced coffee - the iced coffee was milk on ice with absolutely no coffee (as evidenced by the color). Three different servers came to tell us that our food was coming out soon, each of them saying a different length of time until it would be ready. There was a large party that already had drinks upon our arrival, and they didn’t begin receiving food until we had been there for almost an hour, and after that hour, our food had not come either but was blamed on the large party being the hold up. We asked to pay for the coffees and leave, and then magically our food arrived. The BLT was supposed to have a “spicy aioli” on it, but was instead just globs of mayo. The bacon omelette was no longer warm. This was an unfortunately awful experience and very different from what you would read online about this restaurant. I hope it was a one-off, but won’t likely return either way.

   Hi Xiomara, thanks for your honest review. I'm sorry we weren't not just "off," but disastrous in taking care of you last Saturday. Since your comments were posted, we've standardized our iced coffee to milk ratio and laid out a better system for taking care of large groups and smaller tables at the same time. I apologize about you getting the wrong sauce on your BLT, we are undergoing a re-training to make sure everyone gets what they ordered. While we hope you get to come back and see the improvement we've made since your comments, at the very least, thank you for letting us know with your very constructive feedback.

   I enjoyed my time, service and food at Marta’s cafe. They made sure My food was good and asked frequently if i was okay and taken care of.

    Brought a volleyball team here for brunch during a travel trip. 12 teenagers all loved their food and the bill averaged about $17 per girl for very healthy sized portions. Service was great. Chaperones sat nearby because establishments sometimes don’t care to wait on a group of young people. The service here was excellent. Mad the team feel very welcome.
