   A group of co-workers and I decided to try out Marshall's Landing for lunch and had a great time. Food was flavorful, ambiance was wonderful with views of the Chicago river right outside the window and the reservation process even when we need to adjust the timing a bit was great. The service was okay as the waiters weren't coming around as frequently as we would have liked and it's a bit pricy but for the Merchandise Mart, it makes sense. Definitely recommend as a good business lunch spot if you're in/near the Merchandise Mart.

   I have been to many Michael Kornick restaurants, multiple times, and it was no surprise that Marshall’s Landing was a great experience...actually went twice that week.

   We work in the building, so we go to Marshall's Landing a lot for happy hour and lunches. The food is always excellent, the ambiance is festive, but the service is generally poor for table seating and at the bar. They really need to work on that because we like food and drinks a lot, so if we're not getting them, we'll go somewhere else.

   Simply a lovely setting. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of room between tables. My friends and I were seated promptly at the time of our reservation. It took longer than normal for staff to notice us for water and ordering; however, we were so busy talking and visiting that we didn't notice for quite a while. When we sought service, it was excellent and came with apologies for the late start. The food was excellent. I like my soup very hot when served and let the waitperson know that when I ordered. It arrived steaming. The butternut squash soup with apple was perfect. My friends shared a salad and a sandwich. Their half/single portions were huge. I don't recall which salad but they were quite pleased with the freshness and crispness. The sandwich was the tandoori chicken and they quite enjoyed. They also shared the carrot cake sandwich cookies. An unnecessary but appreciated bonus when our check was brought to the table: our drinks were comped as their apology for the wait for service.

   Lovely, open modern space. Staff was very attentive and our group of 6 could talk and hear each other. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. Would definitely go back.

   It was VERY busy the day we went, but still able to hear each other. Great ambiance, good service, and food was decently priced for Chicago standards and good! :)

   Nice place and service. Beautiful view! Pasta Bolognese was so-so. Sauce not so flavorful and watery probably from wet pasta.

   I love the decor with amazing views of the Chicago River. It is in a building with lots of offices so as the restaurant fills up for lunch it gets louder. Food is fresh tasting and service was attentive.

    Marshall's Landing in the magnificent Merch Mart would definitely be a place I would go for lunch again! The service was professional and our food came quickly! Very important factor for a tight lunch hour. The food was delicious. The only complaint was that the music was too loud to have a reasonable conversation. Good music, but they could bring the volume down a bit.
