The Marsh Rocs!!!!! I eat there every time I fly in to town, even if I don’t stay at the Thompson, which is rare. Amazing service, hospitality and food!!! Great place for a family meal or a date. Highly recommend from this LA girl and her sisters!!! Can’t wait to stop by on my next trip! When are you opening one in the City of Angels????!
Food was average. 8 oz of fish for $30+ in a pool of liquid. Everything was over salted. Enjoyed the dessert.
wonderful experience! & very yummy food!
The food was great, the atmosphere was great, the drinks were strong, our waitress had a bit of an attitude, but the service was good overall.
The food was spectacular. It took really a long time for the server to approach our table. After that she was attentive. I will be back!
Excellent food, service and ambiance!
Food was good. Nothing outstanding. So many better choices. We had a great waitress. Thought the hostess was a little rude.
Great location, the food was really good, and who doesn't like mimosas? Also, Bailee took really great care of us. She deserves a raise!
Our server was very nice and made the whole experience so much better. Ambience was nice and food was great. Overall, it was a nice spot for a date night or a night out with friends. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
The taste of the food was ok not outstanding or what I thought it would be. Very plan ordinary food the menu was a whole lot less than what I expected but the bartenders were wonderful great personalities very polite and helpful.
I came in town from madison, Wisconsin to visit my friends and Marsh House was one of my favorite restaurants when I lived here. Felt great to be back!
There are few restaurants/chefs that know how to cook eggs. They do them right here! Perfect, not over cooked or brown, but soft and tender.
Like everything at the Thompson hotel, extremely overpriced and underwhelming.
We went for oysters but also loved the beet salad and scallops! Our waitress was great! The sommelier recommend a great Barolo substitute! Great evening!
Great restaurant and bar. Cool atmosphere and great staff!
Love this restaurant
Love the menu
The oysters, deviled crab and all seafood are excellent
Service is great too
We went twice just in one trip and will be back for sure!
Great food and drinks
It was great!
Great experience. Loved the happy hour oysters. Perfect table for an anniversary celebration.
Just seafood dishes and the waitstaff was immature.
Owner was actually visiting from Louisiana and she was super snotty and unwelcoming when I introduced myself.
I would never recommend anyone to go there. I think they would have a better service experience at Applebee’s.
Appreciate the happy hour and we usually stay for dinner
They’ve got it dialed-in. Execution from the kitchen showcases skill. This one is in the rotation and I don’t have any constitutive criticism. It’s great not to worry about anything but enjoying my company. Bravo!
Excellent service and good quality food
The service was totally fabulous!! Our server was so knowledgeable and helpful She even dashed to the kitchen and held the last one of an order she heard one of us mention that he wanted. The food was really good. The ambience was lovely, bright and airy with a festive mood but not loud. We will go back for sure!
Everything we ordered was amazing, service was excellent, would definitely return in the future!
Good food as always
Michael is the best server I have ever had
Great food selections. The food seemed "heavier" than usual yesterday. And for a Sunday brunch, you would expect a few more traditional brunch options (e.g. , French toast, waffles, or pancakes that didn't have chocolate and peanut butter in/on them). All of the seafood options were great though.
Really enjoyable brunch, great menu. The waiter was attentive and helpful. Fried chicken and biscuit was tasty. The burger was really good and a big portion.
Great service and food options. Thank you Michelle and Lauren for making it a wonderful birthday.
Our server was less than enthusiastic....the food was delicious and hot and the environment lovely but when your waiter is eager to let you know that the peanut butter pancakes are only served after 10:00 for “brunch” and it is 8:15 well...it kinda dampens the experience....a smile and a pleasant word choice go a long way to soften small disappointments.
Food was actually great and portion sizes were quite filling. Would go again!
Service was non attentive. Very noisy atmosphere. Food was above average but nothing spectacular
Such a fun brunch experience with out of town friends!
Edit: I discovered they placed an auto gratuity on the bill which was not communicated to me. I recognize I should have inspected further, but on a date that isn’t appropriate. Simply communicate that a gratuity was added. Will not return
Overall the experience is pleasant. We were greeted quickly and the cocktails and wine were good. The star of the evening was the deviled crab appetizer. It was stellar. Had the beet salad which was more greens than beets. As well as the gumbo which was overly salted.
The main issue was the scallop entree which only had 3 scallops. For the price point, I was expecting more. The flounder was a bit over cooked and the leeks had a slightly off putting aftertaste.
The server Michael is amazing! The food is wonderful and we will definitely be back!
The service was great! Very prompt and friendly. The food is impeccably plated and quite delicious. Loved the pork belly and the scallops entree. If youre a fan of oysters theyve got them fresh and plentiful. Its a classy and hip place.
Thank you for the wonderful review, Scott! You'll have to join us soon for Oyster Happy Hour!
Food was delicious!!
Sunday brunch was delightful. The menu, while not long, offered different choices. I had the fried chicken and biscuits. Both were delicious and they had a new and different twist to the biscuits. It's worth the trip to try the biscuits. The staff were helpful, attentive and informed about the offerings on the menu. We enjoyed our visit.
Thank you for the wonderful review, Steve! We're so glad you enjoyed brunch and look forward to seeing you again soon!
