One of the great reasonably-priced restaurants in the Theater District!
Great food, great service! What more can you say.
This is my favorite place for brunch in Manhattan. Great value, delicious food and the staff is always wonderful.
Had a lovely Sunday brunch at Marseille yesterday. Service was excellent & the food was very good. Highly recommended.
Our favorite brunch restaurant when visiting nyc because everything about it is perfection. So happy to return after the COVID years to happily find the commitment to excellent food and service continues.
A Theater District favorite. Lovely ambiance, attentive staff, really nice night. We’ll be back.
We were a party of 8 and were very pleased with the service. The food was very good. The place was really bustling.
Restaurant week is really not a fair exposure to a restaurant's capability or best performance. We enjoyed it much more two times during the summer. Still, I would suggest it to friends.
Food was very good and the service was fine. However, it was so noisy I could hardly hear others at my table.
Went for brunch. We did not liked any of the bottomless drinks. Stay away from them!, they are not with it! Food was good, service very good and ambiance is great.
Excellent Restaurant Week Menu. The oysters were an extra bonus.
Food was spectacular, service was stellar! Marseille never disapoints.
Yet another perfect pre-theatre dinner. If you haven't ever been here, choose it next time you are in the theatre district. You're welcome!
Good was tasty and well presented. Very noisy, difificult to talk.
Wonderful spot for a pre or post broadway meal. Delicious classic French menu
Excellent food and service.
The food was great interesting and delicious. The wait staff was attentive but didn’t make us feel rushed. We felt safe (all our credentials were checked) and tables were appropriately spaced.
So thankful that Marseille is still at the top of their game after all the hardships of the pandemic. Our waiter helped make the evening special with his very friendly and accommodating service. The shrimp beignets were a spectacular accompaniment to our cocktails. The Wild Bass and Short Ribs were both excellent choices. Perfectly prepared and even better than I remembered. It all made for a memorable evening, we look forward to returning soon.
Marseille is one of the few restaurants still open after a Theatre. A lovely French bistro that has been a fixture on the western edge of time square for sometime. Best escargot in New York.
The waitress almost never came to the table and seemed in a hurry when she did. (Despite a nearly empty restaurant). The support staff (food runner) ended up getting the bill settled for us. Never saw her again until we were leaving.
I’ve been to Marseille many times over the years and never had such Ho Hum service.
Bland and uninspired food. No acknowledgment of birthday. Tables jammed together outside.
Overall good place to go to. The only disappointment was that the HONEY GLAZED DUCK BREAST was overcooked.
Had a great dinner outdoors under heat lamps. Logan was an attentive and friendly server. Our food was delicious and was served piping hot. Other staff were also friendly and welcoming. Dinner was delicious. For reference it was about 36 degrees. We were comfortable under the heat and the outdoor space was nice.
Noise level was deafening, and they had to add music to make it even worse. Good place to dine if you don't want to have a conversation.
Everything was great, a perfect setting for a pre-matinee brunch...
Rude service. Waitress didn’t bother to check in with our food. Went for a Sunday brunch, worst coffee ever. Food was mediocre, and we all had stomachaches afterwards. Would not go again.
It was a pleasant experience but the food is not what it used to be. Seems to be the case with a lot of restaurants these days.
Food was great; service was attentive and prompt; wine recommendation was spot on. The physical space of the restaurant is great and the location is ideal. This place is a gem and reminds you how lucky we are to have French restaurants in Manhattan.
Waitress definitely had an attitude although other wait staff were very nice when we asked for something such as more coffee and water. Portions for some items were skimpy. Past experiences at Marseilles have been better than this one
The service was terrible. Dinner took two hours and the restaurant was not busy. The server disappeared endlessly
We’ve gone to this restaurant many times but this time the cooking was off
Very surprising and disappointed
The oysters were excellent and at happy hour a great value. The ambience and service were excellent. Dinner portions were decent - probably a little smaller than expected for the prices. We had the duck breast and lamb chops (smaller than expected). The duck was perfectly cooked as was the lamb but both could have used a bit of bringing or salt during cooking. The short rib entree was excellent.
The food was truly mediocre. I have been here many times and loved everything. This time I was very disappointed. I had the croque madame and the bread was not fresh. It had one thin slice of hame and one thin slice of cheese. It was not very tasty. My companion had a beet salad that was overdressed and wilted. The service, however, was excellent. Professional and courteous. Hopefully, it was an off day for them.
Marseille is always a great choice for any meal. Always delicious with a great atmosphere and excellent service.
All was great, but the server took a long time to come over to us for our order and then she forgot our appetizer. Otherwise very pleasant.
Was a wonderful experience from start to finish! 5 stars and the Lorraine omlette was amazing! Not to mention the bottomless mimosa's!
This is the perfect spot for a pre-Broadway show brunch.
This is a gem!! The ambiance is amazing a d the food was great! We had brunch there and really enjoyed everything. We will be back!
Wonderful experience! From the knowledgeable staff to the phenomenal entrees and wine pairings.
