Went for Valentine's day, place was packed but the service was not long. Food was excellent and waiter was very nice. Will definitely go back!

This place is fantastic and rather underrated - ate here twice in the last week and the food was flavorful, beautifully prepared and consistent.
Also - it’s very rare that a Prix Fixe on Valentine’s Day is as good as the place is usually - Marseille is an exception. Even with the high volume of turnover - the food was impeccable.
Such a great experience! A Hell’s Kitchen Gem!
Generous helping of filet mignon ... sommelier's wine selection was tasty and a good value ... had to send the soup back ... was not hot ... but replacement (lobster bisque) seemed to lack flavor ... was sweet that couple of truffle candies were given as comp treat
My all time favorite. Never disappointed every time I dine here.
I was there once ten years ago. I don’t come to the city often anymore. It was a great, pre- concert dinner.
Great food. Great service. Busy and packed... that said, it was Valentine’s Day and they did not push us out. Very nice service. Sommelier took my cues and did not push too expensive of a wine.
Marseille has a lovely decor. The food is very good. The menu changes periodically, so you get to try new things. The service is very good. We went after theatre this time, so it was quiet.
Salad and main course (Salmon) was very good. The desert was very good. The glass of Chardonnay was good but high priced. I would prefer to see more white wines offered by the glass, including New Zeland Sauvignon Blancs.
The espresso was garbage - bitter even with 3 sugar packets in a double. Check out a double at Starbucks - it's not the world's best, but see the lower volume, and taste the flavor and smoothness and full body.
Marseille is consistently good. It has a large, complete selection of French classic dishes: steak tartar, escargot, modules frites, classic salads, all prepared simply and elegantly.
Our new go to breakfast spot in Hell's Kitchen. The food is always on point and the staff very friendly.
Simply elegant, excellent service, delicious food, varied menu… Beautiful room
Nice ambiance, in a spacious locale. Large picture windows let the 9th Avenue bustle into Marseille (sometimes flashing lights and sirens are a bit too much).
The service is very attentive and polite. The food arrives on time, the drinks menu is extensive, there is a good variety of wine by-the-glass. Even a larger group, in our case, 7 people we all enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Most of the people in the group were already familiar with Marseille. We all extended a vote of confidence to this venue, for its consistency and good vibes.
Marseille is an excellent choice for brunch in Hell's Kitchen. Delicious brioche French toast and a perfect cafe au lait served in a bowl.
I’ve been before and gave it 5 stars but this time the food was just not as good overall
Dinner was excellent! I loved the ambience, level of service, and the various libations! Thank you for a wonderfully memorable dining experience!
Everything was great- delicious food, every dish was superb. Service was nice and attentive. Environment was comfortable and pretty. Value was very good too.
Very good French cuisine. Escargots were well above average. A bit noisy, unfortunately, but the food makes it worthwhile. Service was very good, as well. We said we had theater tickets, and they made sure we were out on time.
Loved introducing my friend to Marseille especially during Restaurant Week! We had lunch - we both had the trout with almonds and salads as appetizers. I got the cookie plate for dessert - which we shared. She loved the whole experience; I was delighted as always!
Bien accueillis, bien servis, bien mangés, bouillabaisse pour ma part et croque madame pour ma dame...
Had early dinner before theater. Squash ravioli and the fried cauliflower were very good appetizers as both had excellent sauces to go with them. Likewise the monkfish entree and duck confit leg were with layers of flavors and very complimentary vegetables/side dishes. Good selection of wInes by the glass. A definite must for the theater district as right on the corner of 44th and 9th avenue.
Went for lunch during Restaurant Week. Extremely pleased.
I highly recommend Marseille. The French decor and delicious food is perfect for all occasion. I have been there many times with friends and colleagues for lunch and we enjoy our meal every time.
Went for restaurant week. We have been here in the past. As always, delicious food and excellent service.
Overall very nice but very expensive for moderate portion sizes. Good location in theatre district. Happy hour has oysters at $1.25 each, but very few good wines under $100.
We waited 15 minutes beyond our reservation time for a table. Took 12 minutes after that for a server to even bring menus.
Salad starter was overloaded with dressing.
Entrees - 2 hanger steaks and the monkfish - were very good.
Desserts were delicious.
Food was delicious esp. the burger and the Mediterranean salad with shrimp. Bottomless mimosas and bloody Mary's were great as well. Service was attentive. Prices were very reasonable.
Great for pre or after Theatre. Excellent value and always good service.
We visited Marseille for brunch on the weekend. The menu is varied and with some unique items like "Pain Perdue" which was a wonderful French toast in a mushroom sauce with two eggs. We also had the limitless Mimosas for $19 each over a period of 90 minutes. They filled our glasses without asking and did not dilute the champagne with juice which is often the case with such drink offerings. The staff worked as a team and were pleasant and attentive. We would definitely recommend Marseille and will return ourselves!
Lovely Restaurant Week dinner. They had menu on Saturday evening. Food was excellent. Don't think the prices were significantly lower, but still a bit lower.
Will certainly go back for rissoto with truffle foam and duck confirm.
Really wonderful staff.
Never disappoints! Been here twice for business lunch and decided to take my family. What a treat! Can’t wait to go back
Marseille is consistently reliable. The food is always expertly prepared and the service is elegant. The hosts and hostesses always check on diners to see if everything is to their satisfaction.
They get you to the theatre on time. Our go-to place in the theatre district.
Location is great for pre-theatre and love the ambiance. Food is decent, nothing special.
Great food and great service. Waitstaff is very attentive. The best dishes to try are the hanger Steak and the lamb shank tagine.
best place for the theater crowd, low key... high quality
Food was wonderful. Staff was exceptionsl
Excellent value and variety for their restaurant week menu. Everything was delicious and portions were generous. Servers were perceptive. Cosy bistro ambiance. Noise level a little high
Delightful and delicious dining experience. I had never eaten here before nor had two others...I think we’ll all be back.
Went for pre theater brunch. It was delicious. Everyone loved what they ordered and the menu is sophisticated but also simple things available for those traditional eaters! It’s a hustle bustle place and lots of fun people watching. Service is very attentive!!
