Marsanne is a sophisticated Mediterranean oasis.
The executive Chef Zivko Radojicic wanted to bring the warmth and hospitality of the Adriatic Mediterranean coast to the vibrant Chelsea neighborhood.
Our semi-private dining space “Le Mascaret Room” has its own dedicated drinks counter, as well a custom-made undulating wooden sculpture mounted on a wall (it's meant to replicate twisting vines and flowing waves, natch) and a glass-encased wine cellar holding over 700 bottles. It can accommodate up to 50 guests seated.

This was my first time, and the food and atmosphere were very good (beautiful space). However, the service was way below what one would expect, and the Owner explained that they were impacted by a large Party who was dining there. He gave us complimentary digestifs along with an apology.

Had a great experience on Monday eve. Four of us came together to celebrate a friend’s birthday. We were seated near the front, at a round table with comfortable chairs. Spacing between tables was comfortable, and the sound level wasn’t too loud so we could hear our conversations. Both the maitre d’ and waitperson (Antoinette) were welcoming & helpful. We had delicious watermelon cocktails, along with an amazing ricotta/artichoke/lemon puree appetizer. All of us had pasta: pappardelle with lobster and squid ink linguini with seafood. Both delicious. Had a lovely bottle of rosé. For dessert, the trio of 3 gelatos (chocolate, vanilla, pistachio) was perfect. In all, a great dining experience & celebration!

Food was superb and service was great. This is like the Cookshop of 10 years ago. Great flavor, great portions, great presentation. Highly recommend. Still a bit under the radar.

Really great evening at Marsanne! The food was exceptional including the steak tartare, spicy feta dip and steak Frits. We will definitely be back.

Lovely space, reasonable distance amongst tables. The cod was perfectly prepared and the wine steward selected a good bottle. Considering all the choices if gallery hopping around Chelsea, this seem to have justified the other reviews on Opentable.
