Excellent food, nice ambiance, and the owner (who’s lovely) goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience.
Friendly staff and great food! Really liked the Bastilla of the day and the Fes had great flavor.
We arrived as a party of 7 for a Mother's Day dinner reservation for a party of 6. I apologized and noted that one of our party was only six years old. Two staff berated me (the mother in this Mother's Day equation) about how difficult this was and how they could not accommodate us. I decided not to push it and we turned to go, but they found some grace and took us to our table - set against a bench that easily accommodated three adults and the kindergartener.
The food was very good, although pricey for the modest portions.
One of our party ordered a salad for her meal, so did not get a salad course, but then when we got our entrees, her salad did not appear. After a wait (we were all at least halfway through our meals) I asked about it; I was told it was coming, in a tone suggesting that I knew that and was being impatient. We opted to get our baklava to go, and that, too, was delayed.
The whole staff seemed harried - perhaps they bit off too much in allowing the reservations they did for that evening. I hope they can do better in the future, but I am unlikely to return.
hostess was extremely rude to me when I arrived. sat down at the table and watched as other customers had a fight w the server in the middle of the restaurant, threw down their napkins, and stormed out. soup was canned quality. I ordered one salad and they brought me out a completely different salad without warning saying that they weren’t serving the salad I ordered tonight. had to send it back.
Enjoyed what felt and tasted like authentic Moroccan food Saturday night price fixe was a bit pricey but all of the courses were enjoyable. We will go back.
The food was incredible and the service was great! Beautiful place to eat. I look forward to dining again there.
Absolutely delicious! Wonderfully cooked vegetables and a fun vibrant atmosphere. Definitely get a reservation because it’s a small place.
It was a very busy evening. A very lively crowd. This was our first visit so we didn't know what to expect. We were treated to a lovely surprise. A belly dancer came out of the back and performed for about a half hour. Saturdays are prix fixe with three different levels. The food was very good. The service was a little slow due to the fact that every table was filled. The server was very apologetic about the time it took to take our order and then it was smooth sailing. We are looking forward to returning during the week to try other options that were not available last evening.
The owner, chef, and staff clearly take pride in making each patron happy. There is a special menu on Saturday night that does not include soup or kebabs. I had my heart set on having the lamb and lentil soup; the chef made some for me. The Saturday night menu could be a little larger - older eyes sometimes have difficulty with small print. The server was attentive but not intrusive and when the restaurant became full, it was all hands on deck and they maintained the attentiveness and gracefulness. Even when a few customers became impatient because they could not be seated immediately, the staff maintained their professionalism. Perhaps those customers have never been to a nice restaurant on a Saturday night - even with a reservation, sometimes you have to wait! We will be back soon.
Very nice restaurant. Unique food very well prepared with great service. Great Beef and chicken dishes
I came here with a friend for dinner, and absolutely loved our experience. The restaurant has a cozy and intimate atmosphere. We were there for the Evening Entertainment, and had the Fes Special. The food was absolutely delicious! Everything from the starters to the baklavas were excellent. The service at the Marokko was very hospitable. The server was friendly and took excellent care of us during dinner. We had a fun dining experience at the Marokko, and would love to return in the future.
Friends going out to dinner. The Tajine Fez slow-cooked chicken dish with carmelized mushrooms and raisins on couscous was truly delicious. Everyone in our group loved their meal. The atmosphere is cozy and old world, and the owner/hostess is warm and welcoming. We stayed and chatted and enjoyed Moroccan tea with Baklava. A lovely evening.
We will be back. Food was very good but above all, service was superb. Nice people!
A happy time and nice place to sit after. Delicious.
Waitress was nice but alone and far far far too busy. Orders and requests went lost or were ignored The food was okay but overpriced for what you got.
Food very good for a local restaurant. Little on the expensive side but not out of whack. No atmosphere to speak of and that's a shame, could be a really cool local place.
The food was excellent but finding parking took awhile and the waitstaff was short- handed, which is the only reason they didnt get a five star rating. The servers were very good, just extremely overworked.
