Came here for my Mum’s Birthday treat. This restaurant came recommended by lots of my friends and colleagues but we had a terrible experience which didn’t live up to expectations. Food was tasty but service was incredibly poor, Attitude from server (but I do think she was just busy and rushing) and also waited nearly half hour to be served, well I actually had to go and ask for our order to be taken otherwise we would of sat there a lot longer, we ended up just getting mains but had planned on Starters but we didn’t want to wait too much longer. Huge shame! We would like to try it again in the hopes that it’s a much better and welcoming experience.

Marney's is our favourite place to go for Sunday Roast. The food, service and setting are exceptional. They have a very effective system where Sunday Roast is served at two sittings, at midday and 3pm. This works really well, the service is very punctual and the food is perfect. I must also say that I think the Manager is excellent. She leads from the front, is incredibly friendly but also so hard working, and sets the standard for the rest of her staff.

Excellent visit on a Wednesday for Steak Night. Steak was delicious and the table service was excellent. Will be visiting again!

Lunch with friends Sunny garden with lots of shade opportunities. Very helpful staff. Great food. Love this pub!

Our group of 5 are big fans of Marneys. We have been eating there 4+times a year for the last 10 or more years. We particularly like the ambience and the food. Quite a few of us have the same thing every time we go but probably as a group we’ve been through the menu. We really rate the service at Marneys. The Manager is excellent and the other staff are almost always sunny and pleasant. We’re lucky to have Marneys so local.
