Marmont Steakhouse Ratings and Reviews
Food was great and matched pricing. Had Ribeye, calamari, lamb lollipops, & bananas foster w coffee. They need 2 get a handle on the door. Was cold & snowing. Every time door opened, half the restaurant was freezing, turned & looked. They had heavy drapes but chose not 2 use them. Mane a circular curtain rod to allow 4 room 2 come in but block draft. Food good, services excellent, ambiance pleasant, good menu w choices 4 all.
A close friend of ours highly recommended Marmont Steakhouse for getting a good, quality steak dinner. We made a reservation in anticipation of it being busy. Upon arriving, we found that there were only two other tables dining. We ordered one appetizer (crab Mac n Cheese), which ended up being the best part of our dining experience, and we both ordered a different filet for our entree. Both of us were severely disappointed with how our filets were cooked and the lack in flavor. We also each got a loaded baked potato which were both severely over cooked and dried out. It’s hard to believe that this restaurant is titled as a steakhouse after what we were served, especially because it couldn’t be blamed on a crazy dinner rush. All things aside, our dining experience was extremely overpriced and the food was mediocre at best. We’ve have better steak at Texas Roadhouse. We couldn’t have been more disappointed with Marmont Steakhouse and will not be returning in the future.
Hidden local gem serving reliably excellent food! Upon entering the restaurant, one notices the decor isn’t anything to speak of, however.... the food will keep you coming back again and again. Nice bar /wine selection. The hot bread pudding (order it 20 minutes ahead since each one is made individually) for dessert is excellent!
We went to Marmont Steakhouse for a celebration. I can see the restaurant from our condo. My boyfriend has been wanting to try this restaurant out for years, I never noticed it before but now it is one of my favorite restaurants! Justin our server was a doll! Very attentive and personable. The food was exceptional from appetizers through our entrees. We had crab bisque, caesar salad, calamari, and we both ordered the filet oscar. The filet melted in our mouths. We both requested medium well and it was cooked perfectly! I am so glad we went there and I can't wait to go back! We had a 7 PM reservation and they seated us as soon as we walked in. After dinner we sat at the bar for an additional drink. Can't wait to go back! Have I mentioned that before?
The food was great and the staff was nice. Our waitress especially was really good. My only complaint is they overbook, we had an 8:30 reservation arrived 15 minutes early for that reservation and then proceeded to wait almost 2 hours to be seated ans we were told there were "4 parties ahead of us". I would definitely eat there again, but I will never go again during Restaurant Week , maybe some random Tuesday but never again during Restaurant Week, the wait was entirely too long.
Went for restaurant week. Dinner was delicious! Our waitress, Lisa, was completely on top of things! Our drinks were empty, and before we could tell her, we had another round. She was fabulous!! Her recommendations for dinner was also perfect. Definitely looking forward to coming back here!
Went for Restaurant Week and it was awesome! Great value for the $35 and food was delicious. I wish the beer list was a bit bigger, but that's probably just me.
Perfect for the 2 of us, but the table next to us was sat for 4 and they were having a great time too. Server was attentive but not overwhelming, which was great.
Made a reservation for two. The bartender was ok nothing special. Made me a $10 drink. I didnt enjoy it. Next the place was a little cramped but they made it work. The food was very good and the waitress was exceptional. She brought out everthing at the right time. My friend and I both found the dinner very much enjoyable.
