Steak cooked perfectly. Great Service. Would recommend.
We had lunch here, and it really is less a traditional steakhouse atmosphere, and more a friendly neighborhood dive bar. Very small, but it was pretty quiet when we were there. The food was really good, and my husband said it was the best burger he had in awhile. The fries were delicious. The restrooms are down a steep flight of stairs, and the floor was a bit slick. It was clean, but just an old building. My elderly mother managed, but anyone with ambulatory issues will have a hard time. Overall, worth it for the food, but this is not an upscale steakhouse.
The quality of the food was very good but because everything they making including appetizers are all made to order, the wait time an be an issue. As long as you are in no hurry I recommend this restaurant because the food as I said is very good. The filet is excellent.
The food was delicious! I got the Mahi Mahi with spinach risotto so yummy!
Steak tasted dry
Sat outside...fantastic night...great service and very reasonably priced.
This is by far our favorite local restaurant-- best steak and pork chop in the city. We eat here usually once a month.
Took my girlfriend here for our anniversary and it was amazing. Servers are knowledgeable about everything on the menu which brings comfort to those that don't go to places like this very often.
If you go, I recommend the filet mignon. AMAZING!
Myra was a great server!
Filet was delicious as were the muscles.
Small dining room with a bar. Nice amount of movement and not loud.
Food was amazing! Cocktail was just ok. The filet special melted in our mouth, and the broccolini was great. The Caesar salad had the perfect amount of dressing. It was a terrific meal.
Best restaurant in Philadelphia
Excellent steaks and service. Completely empty at 5pm on a Sunday. A bit dark on decor. We will go back.
Very attentive staff. Food was wonderful from first bite to last. Menu varied, more than steaks. The only one suggestion would more light. It was a bit too dark.
I am still fantasizing over the rib eye steak--maybe the best I've ever had, and for under $30! Wonderful waitress--very attentive and pleasant. Ambiance/decor leaves a lot to be desired but I would overlook that because the food was so good.
Food was delicious. Service was great. The tables were very small. Not very accommodating for a table of 2. But overall good experience
Really enjoyed my salad and mussels. The apps and salads are generous enough you can get by without ordering an entree which are fairly highly priced.
We have been going annually for four years running and every time we leave we comment that the steaks were the best we've ever had!
Great steakhouse. Nice casual atmosphere. Food was excellent.
Food was great and matched pricing. Had Ribeye, calamari, lamb lollipops, & bananas foster w coffee. They need 2 get a handle on the door. Was cold & snowing. Every time door opened, half the restaurant was freezing, turned & looked. They had heavy drapes but chose not 2 use them. Mane a circular curtain rod to allow 4 room 2 come in but block draft. Food good, services excellent, ambiance pleasant, good menu w choices 4 all.
A close friend of ours highly recommended Marmont Steakhouse for getting a good, quality steak dinner. We made a reservation in anticipation of it being busy. Upon arriving, we found that there were only two other tables dining. We ordered one appetizer (crab Mac n Cheese), which ended up being the best part of our dining experience, and we both ordered a different filet for our entree. Both of us were severely disappointed with how our filets were cooked and the lack in flavor. We also each got a loaded baked potato which were both severely over cooked and dried out. It’s hard to believe that this restaurant is titled as a steakhouse after what we were served, especially because it couldn’t be blamed on a crazy dinner rush. All things aside, our dining experience was extremely overpriced and the food was mediocre at best. We’ve have better steak at Texas Roadhouse. We couldn’t have been more disappointed with Marmont Steakhouse and will not be returning in the future.
We live in Delaware and when we want a great dinner we drive to Marmont. We love the mussels and steak! The service is always wonderful!!
Been going here for eight years and it never disappoints.
Great food, great service and great atmosphere. Never let down when i go to Marmont. I try to go at least a few times a year
Food very good, service OK...felt a bit rushed. A neighborhood type restaurant vs special occasion.
Hidden local gem serving reliably excellent food! Upon entering the restaurant, one notices the decor isn’t anything to speak of, however.... the food will keep you coming back again and again. Nice bar /wine selection. The hot bread pudding (order it 20 minutes ahead since each one is made individually) for dessert is excellent!
We had a great meal and Dennis was a wonderful server.
Seated right away for an early dinner. Service was great. Classic rock background music was greatly appreciated. Food was cooked to perfection. Price was reasonable all things considered. We’re coming back for sure!
The tables are way to close to one another. Basically, not enough seating. The steak was dry (ordered Med-Well) and tough....NY Strip. Service was great.....
We went to Marmont Steakhouse for a celebration. I can see the restaurant from our condo. My boyfriend has been wanting to try this restaurant out for years, I never noticed it before but now it is one of my favorite restaurants! Justin our server was a doll! Very attentive and personable. The food was exceptional from appetizers through our entrees. We had crab bisque, caesar salad, calamari, and we both ordered the filet oscar. The filet melted in our mouths. We both requested medium well and it was cooked perfectly! I am so glad we went there and I can't wait to go back! We had a 7 PM reservation and they seated us as soon as we walked in. After dinner we sat at the bar for an additional drink. Can't wait to go back! Have I mentioned that before?
Great service generous portions excellent food. Can’t go wrong.
One of my favorite go-to dinner places! Everything on the menu is delicious, service is excellent/ very accommodating. Bread pudding is scrumptious - order early since it takes a while to prepare.
Reservation was at 8pm... they didn’t seat us until 8:45. When we ordered, they didn’t even have the food we wanted, so we left. Manager was nice, but the other workers sucked.
The 4 of us decided to gather at you facility for an evening meal. The food was very good and the waiter (Dennis) was very attentive. The menu offered many tempting choices. We will definitely return to try some of your other choices.
Every serving was delicious and even tastier than the one before. Emily is quite the attentive waitress.
Food was delicious! Server was very nice and attentive. Reservations were for 6:30 didn’t get seated until 7:15:-(( we wasn’t offered a free soda or anything! Overall experience was good...
This restaurant is very small inside & nosey not enough room to move around. I wouldn't recommend it for a disable person & the restroom is located downstairs. Overall the food was good.
The food was delicious and It was my first time at restaurant week and it was a great time
From the food to the workers this place is great. I would recommend this place to not only my friends and family but strangers and or out of towners.
perfect for restaurant week
We had a reservation for 7 with friends from out of the country at 9:30 PM and they did not seat us until 11:00 PM. Ruined all of it. They that they are not set up to handle large crowds and asked me if I wanted to cancel my reservation. Need I say more?
