Opened in 2018 by local couple Mark & Charly, Marleys is a neighbourhood favourite rooted in fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients. What began as a cosy café-restaurant has evolved into something a little more special — a place where elevated casual dining meets warm, down-to-earth hospitality.

By day, we serve relaxed walk-in breakfast and lunch with a focus on comforting British flavours and thoughtful touches. By night, Marleys transforms into a more intimate and romantic setting, offering a refined yet welcoming dinner experience with a carefully curated menu and a touch of elegance.

Whether you’re joining us for a laid-back brunch or an evening out, you’ll find heartfelt food, a passionate team, and an atmosphere that feels both familiar and beautifully unexpected.

Dinner reservations are available in the evenings, while breakfast and lunch remain walk-in only.

Overnight in Folkestone and booked Marleys as menu looked great with a good choice of GF options for coeliac hubby …. So glad we did ! Staff were all lovely - and the food was delicious ! Will definitely return when next in area

We’ve enjoyed being at Marleys several times now, and it’s our favourite place to eat. The welcome and service is always great, and the food is just next level! We always look forward to the next special occasion to book there. Excellent!

Marleys never disappoints , it was worth the wait of booking our dinner in advance as we know it is a popular restaurant as expected! The service was efficient & friendly , both the starter & main was full of flavour and very reasonable price for the quality & portion size.The desserts sounded & looked delicious, interesting choice of cocktails which were just as described! We would definitely recommended Marleys for breakfast, lunch & dinner!

This was the 4th time I had been to Marleys and this time I introduced my family to them. We were a group of 8 and everyone was extremely impressed by the quality and quantity of their meals. The pork belly was described as the best ever tasted and we all eat out regularly. Thank you to all the staff for a perfect meal.

Me and my family went here for my daughters 17th birthday the staff were amazing very polite very helpful and alway had a smile on their faces the food was insane absolutely amazing place would be going back for sure and highly recommend

From being greeted on arrival to thanked on leaving everything was perfect. The food is always outstanding and excellent value.

The food was superb especially the pork belly, good-sized portions and lovely friendly staff. Highly recommend, it does get very busy so need to book in advance.
