Opened in 2018 by local couple Mark & Charly, Marleys is a neighbourhood favourite rooted in fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients. What began as a cosy café-restaurant has evolved into something a little more special — a place where elevated casual dining meets warm, down-to-earth hospitality.

By day, we serve relaxed walk-in breakfast and lunch with a focus on comforting British flavours and thoughtful touches. By night, Marleys transforms into a more intimate and romantic setting, offering a refined yet welcoming dinner experience with a carefully curated menu and a touch of elegance.

Whether you’re joining us for a laid-back brunch or an evening out, you’ll find heartfelt food, a passionate team, and an atmosphere that feels both familiar and beautifully unexpected.

Dinner reservations are available in the evenings, while breakfast and lunch remain walk-in only.

Loved our experience at Marleys. We are from the bistro evening menu which had a good choice. The squid was delicious and steak cooked perfectly.

We've wanted to dine at Marleys for a very long time so for our 30th wedding anniversary we booked a table, 6 weeks in advance! The table we were given was far too small for four people, cramped is being kind. The food was ok, nothing to complain about but wasn't blown away either. Now let's talk about the price...it was hugely overpriced!! I had the belly pork, £27, but for a small bowl of greens it was another £4.95! Then there's the wine...cheapest was £38 for a bottle of white which didn't taste any different than a bottle from the local shop. I sat in Marleys feeling exploited and taken advantage of because of its huge popularity. Will not be going again.

First time at Marley’s, won’t be the last, we had a wonderful meal, staff friendly and very attentive, a fabulous experience, highly recommend.

Had a lovely evening at Marley’s! Me and my partner came along with our 4 week old baby, the staff were able to find us a table with space for the pram despite it being a busy Saturday evening. We shared the porterhouse steak which was lovely but we did think as a sharing steak it would be slightly bigger. Overall we really enjoyed it the food and drinks were great, the staff were all very friendly and accommodating and the vibes were good!

Always a wonderful experience at Marleys. The marleys burger and buttermilk chicken did not disappoint. Whether you come for their famous breakfast or dinner you’ll leave full and content. The Marleys team always make you welcome
