The food at Market is amazing! You have to try the crispy salmon!!! The drinks are perfection and Patrick the manager is one of the most engaging and energetic managers I have meet. I always make sure to eat here at least twice when I’m Miami and most times twice:)
We stopped in for a quick birthday lunch with a group of 8. DJ our server was very polite, attentive and friendly. The food was delicious. It was fresh and came out quickly. We wrapped up lunch in less than an hour and were pleasantly surprised with a birthday dessert. Our team will be back soon!
Mixed feelings on Market. I had visited before a few years ago for drinks and oysters, had a fantastic time.
On this visit, not so much. It wasn’t a busy evening, but after being seated it took quite a while for the server to make himself known. Upon arrival to the table he jumped immediately to “the script”, without allowing us to even acknowledge him. This set the tone for the evening, the server was courteous but completely un-engaged. He would often walk off immediately or begin walking away just after we ordered. It left me feeling like our moments with him were fleeting and somewhat rushed.
We shared 6 oysters which were excellent, citrus salad was very good, snapper ceviche was good, truffle pizza average and uninspired, beef tenderloin cooked medium was disappointingly dry. We shared the above and 4 cocktails between us and the total was $300. I’ve lived in South Beach for 17 years, and while I’m used to higher prices, the experience was definitely not worth the price.
I may return for a drink but do not recommend for a date night.
Our waiter was very kind and went the extra mile but he was undermined by the lack of staff and perhaps the kitchen which upset our experience. It took an hour for our food to arrive and that’s with 2 kids waiting ...
Kudos to the Market team for making good on a not-so-good situation. As per usual the food is quite good here, with lots of options for carnivores as well as plant-based grazers. On this busy Valentine's Day evening, however, we experienced unreasonably long delays in food service and failed communications about what was even available on the menu. Management not only apologized profusely the kitchen's misfires, but comped our entire food and beverage bill. Thanks, again.
Service was very slow. We were told that they had no sparking water at a restaurant of this caliber.
Wonderful light fare. Sat outside and was accommodated with heat lamps. Food and service both excellent!!
Great service!! I was really impressed, Tatiana was excellent and accommodating, the Manager Eros was also very attentive and accommodating.
I will definitely come back
Outstanding place ... food was great ... service and the staff were great
You must eat there for lunch
The shop next to the restaurant was nice ... friendly helpful staff in there
I found this restaurant through Open Table and it did not disappoint. I absolutely LOVED my dinner here. The restaurant is beautiful, and has great ambiance. The drink menu is great, and there’s a wide variety of options for meals. I got the tomato, mozzarella and basil pizza with a side of prosciutto and roasted Brussels sprouts. For dessert I got the key lime pie. It was absolutely delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience!!
My husband and I love to eat there when we are in South Beach, on a quieter night, even if we’re not staying at that hotel. It is a little bit costly but the service is fantastic and the food is delicious.
Not a place for ambience, but a perfect place for a slower night.
A great location for a casual business lunch. Please note Lunch is not served until 12:30
I wanted to love this place! The hostess and servers were all so very nice. But the food was not at all what we expected. We had high expectations coming in and we were very let down. As it is a buffet style, it would be nice to have a cleared table when you return with a new plate. We had to either bus our own table or ask to have items removed. Great concept but might not be prime time for Market.
It was fine. Overpriced for the food and drinks. Restaurant was freezing.
The patio was noisy and the food expensive for what it was.
Most awful food I’ve ever had, everything was flavourless and nothing tasted right at all. We ordered the vegetarian dishes on the menu
Food was good and service was efficient.
Delicius food and perfect service. Comfortable ambiance.
Food & service(from waiter) were just OK. Ambiance was beautiful and hostess stand was wonderful.
Not as good as other Jean George Restaurants ! and I am usually a fan of its cuisine
Nourriture et service catastrophique
Une demi-heure pour avoir une bouteille de vin Minuty car personne ne pouvait aller à la cave à vin qui était de l’autre côté du resto
expérience tragique pizza très salée le manager paraissait débordé et incompétent
Amazing for Thanksgiving or everyday! The staff is absolutely wonderful.
Very nice Service and great food!
Seared Salmon, Morita Pepita Broth Roasted Delicata Squash was perfect. With a side Broccoli Rabe, Lemon & Chili. Excellent.
Best food on the beach by far
$20 is quite pricy for three pieces of bread with avocado and two eggs.
Very pleasant restaurant with an eclectic menu -- something for everyone. Reasonably priced for the Beach.
Way overpriced for a casual setting.
We celebrated my parents wedding anniversary with a bunch of family members
The food and speciality drinks were both very good. Our waiter DJ was phenomenal, both attentive and a great photographer for group pictures
We had the Miami Spice menu which was outstanding. The food and the wine delicious, the portion sizes just perfect. The surprise came with the check when we found out they charged us $10.00 per bottle of the still water. (couldn't really tell if it was plain tap water or some branded one) but we were not informed about that at the time of ordering that's for sure. Apart from this we had a wonderful time there.
If you like a nice, quiet breakfast, lunch or dinner spot, with a various choice of hotel-quality appetizers, entrees and beverages, Market at the Miami Beach Edition is a nice place in the middle of Miami Beach. The prices are on par with a 4-star hotel, and menu choices are made by gourmet chefs. You may need to request tap water on ice, if you don't want to buy bottled waters. But the service is efficient, and the atmosphere is like a deluxe cafe, with the view of baked goods and the kitchen up front, pots and pans and all. They also feature a happy hour, and right now their Miami Spice menu is a good way to introduce yourself to the quality of the food.
Miami Spice offerings were not as tasty as the regular menu (except for the desserts which were scrumptious). Really like the ambiance at the Market. Don't know why they would stop honoring the local discount. It made us locals feel like we were really welcome to come eat there frequently. Now, I don't feel the love. And the staff is changing over too. I guess they are going through some changes
AMAZING FOOD!!!! Service,Food Time & All !!
We waited for the Michelin star level from dinner in the editor, and got burnt food, salads overseasoned with vinegar and fish drenched in sauce to hide the stale smell. the waiter was already tired before the arrival of the guests. if you don't live in this hotel, find a better place

French Toast is AMAZING! Little pricey, but definitely worth it.
Miguel was gr8!
Restaurant was empty brought all 3 courses at the same time. They obviously have a timing issue or the server thought we were in a rush
This is an outstanding place; authentic Neapolitan pizza with top quality entrees. A world-class restaurant in every sense!
