The food was up to the usual high standard but the service was slow. We waited 45 minutes for our order. Maybe staffing issues? Our server was very nice but busy and we had to flag her down to ask for to-go containers, dessert menu, bill, etc. Restaurant is noisy and music intrusive. Otherwise ambiance is okay and other patrons seemed to be enjoying themselves. I hope the staffing problem is resolved because we do like this place and will be back.

I ordered the Caesar salad, and the cod. Both were good, but not exceptional. Service seemed a little bit slow for as busy as they were. But it was still a good meal and a reasonable price.

Food was good but service was horrible. I ordered the Nashville Hot and asked for some ranch for my sandwich. After 20 minutes of waiting I ate a cold sandwich. We also sat at the table for 20 before we could order drinks. Never did anyone from management come near our table. I guess it’s Time to find a new place to go to.

We started with a drink in the bar before our dinner reservation. The female bartender was awesome, personable and attentive. The hibiscus infused margarita type beverage was wonderful. And thankfully we were able to watch part of the World Series! We were seated promptly for dinner and servers were very good. Food also was very good! Everything seems more expensive these days, but I think that’s just the way it is G all restaurants these days! Will return to market Tavern

BOTH HAD THE SKIRT STEAK - COOKED TO PERFECTION - VEGETABLES COOKED TO PERFECTION WITH A NICE CHAR I APPRECIATE - HAD A GIN COCKTAIL WHICH WAS EXCELLENT - A MUST TRY - I CAN'T WAIT TO TRY THE WHOLE MENU - WILL BE BACK

We had reservations for 3 , we were sat at a table that was too small for 3. They did add a small table. The tables did not align well so 2 of us our plates were in the crack. We noticed that similar tables had single diners at them. They were busy but the whole time we were dining 2 adjacent booths remained empty. They said they had them reserved. We were there for awhile enjoying appetizers and cocktails then dinner. We enjoyed our meal but we would have been much more comfortable at a better choice of tables

Love the food. The noise level inside is very loud. Acoustics bad and bad music on top of the bad. Hard to have a conversation. Always ask to eat outside.

Fish tacos, hamburger and soups are great. The sausage pizza is too wet. Too many ingredients that it doesn’t need. I’ll try a different pizza next time. Service is good, a bit slow but we were not in a hurry.

OT keeps hitting me up to review restaurants at which I dine regularly. They really need to add a button to give a diner the option to indicate "no change." This is Market Tavern--of the same group that also operates Prime Table, La Mesa [, & MT Dublin if reopened]. The food and drinks are consistently *excellent.* That's why they continue to be popular. You can't go wrong eating and/or drinking here. Now how about adding that "No Change to Previous Review" button, Open Table?

We had a business meeting in the corner room and the entire experience was excellent. Our waitress made the food service and meeting work well together, was very adaptable, and did a terrific job. The lunch was excellent.

Our regular favorite stop between LA & Auburn each month. An oasis and we never get tired of going...first, the food & beverage quality and prep is superior, next is the service, always treated so well and never needing to wait for our requests. The ambiance is amazing, especially if you like the open kitchen concept and their line is all very specialized and consistent with perfection in the prep. Nice local wine list too! Highly recommended after dozens of visits.

Absolutely delicious! We started with the deviled eggs with bacon and jalapeños…they are SO good! I’d make them a meal with a side salad next time lol. I had the salmon dish for dinner and it was smoky and full of delicious flavor. My husband was not as hungry so he had the beet and citrus salad and really enjoyed how fresh it was. All in all and delicious and memorable dining experience. Our server was wonderful and perfectly attentive. We will be back!

This place is consistently good. They’re pretty much sticklers as to where they want you to sit but that’s their place so I guess they can do that OK. It is moderately loud and sometimes difficult to talk. I’ll always go back
