The Market Tavern is a really nice place to go that you want to have a brunch or a nice dinner! The food is really good, the patio super cute and people there are friendly. Would recommend it to anyone. I almost forgot to mention the delicious cocktails.
Although there were occasional lags between interactions with our server (longer than one might expect between ordering drinks and ordering entrées), it was nice to enjoy a relaxing meal and the service was excellent. Everyone who we interacted with was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and enjoyed by all of us. Will be back!
Took a chance on dining outdoors and it was quite comfortable. As always the service and food were excellent! Servers are very friendly and helpful. If you’re craving a lamb burger that’s the place to go.👍
Excellent good! Great price!
Early Father’s Day. Everything was great. Will return
STRANGE ENTRANCE WAY. HAD A NEWBIE FOR A WAITER - SWEET BUT WHEN WE WERE TALKING ABOUT THE WONDERFUL DEVILED EGGS I ALWAYS GET IN STOCKTON I GUESS HE ASSUMED WE WERE ORDERING THEM. THEY APPEARED. MY LUNCH MATE HATES EGGS AND I ATE JUST ONE SO... RATHER ODD.
GOOD HALF WAY POINT FOR THE TWO OFF US SO WE WIL PROBABLY RETURN.
Although the food and outdoor seating is above average I do not recommend this restaurant for a leisurely dinner. I did not see the 90-minute time limit when making reservations nor the sign at the front of the restaurant and was unaware until the waitress notified us when finishing our dinner that we only had 20 minutes left if we wanted to order dessert. We had started with a cocktail and ate an appetizer prior to our main course with a bottle of wine. If I'm spending $100 a person on dinner the restaurant should allow patrons 120 minutes to enjoy their dinner and include dessert/coffee/after-dinner cocktail if so desired. This is my second visit in three months but will not likely return in the near future.
Delicious food and large portions served by friendly staff in a warm environment
This place is a hidden gem. It’s the first restaurant I’ve been to in a long time that I would actually come back to! Delicious food and great service
We had reservations for inside seating. But inside seating is very limited and we were being seated at a table literally 3 feet from the front door and next to the hostess stand. We asked to move outside as that table arrangement wasn’t comfortable. The hostess told us we would have to wait 10 to 15 minutes to move outside, which would have been cool if we had too wait for a table, but then she sat a walk in couple outside as we waited for a table. We got seated about 5 minutes later. The service from that point was great. The food was really good. Highly recommend the Brussels Sprouts appetizer. Would like to go back and try some of their other menu items.
The food was delicious and we enjoyed everything that we ordered. The staff that waited on our table were wonderful and very attentive. So glad that we had the opportunity to eat there to celebrate our daughter's birthday on May 30.
Returning to Market Tvn now that indoor seating allowed. Good service as always; much appreciated how MT takes the effort to train their staff. Had the Ora salmon entree (very good), octopus (outstanding), bacon jalapeno Mac'n'cheese (very good; cavatappi with creamy cheddar sauce, crispy bacon dice and chopped chiles), griddled cornbread (slightly sweet, served warm with chile/honey butter). Only the chicken wings faltered: overcooked and dry despite tasty glaze. Winner was the Crispy B.Sprouts: first bite was "good", second bite "yeah, very good".....five minutes later, bowl was empty! Seasonings were perfectly balanced and the leftovers were even better, the dressing soaking the cooked leaves overnite. Ended with Lemon Blueberry cake and coffees - lovely to get a cappuccino made properly 'dry' without having to ask! One of the best restaurants in the Dublin/Pleasanton area, and great place to bring a group.
The service was fantastic and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The food was good and drinks were fantastic. Recommended for any occasion.
very noisy outside, no music is heard and the music is not very good, I want live music
Clean, super friendly staff. Food and adult beverages are always good. Has become one of our go to restaurants.
Wonderful service and great food. I recommend and will be returning myself.
Amila was a very attentive and professional server. Food was served in a timely manner and was clearly fresh
Wife and I meeting the kids at MT Dublin for lunch seeing the kids for the first time in months. Ate outside. Very comfortable. Great service. We love the menu.
Felix the mixologist took great care of us! Excellent food, drinks, and service!
Not too much friendly waiters. Food amazing! Octopus delicious!
This is a go to after a long east coast to west coast flight. Great patio with a fire pit and olive trees separating the tables. The patio seems to be a bit quieter than indoor seating and has some quiet ambiance. The staff is prompt and attentive, quick with drinks and know their menu well. Decided to try the wood fired pizza and the market salad on this trip. The organic salad is a good portion for a starter and seems freshly made. Some silt or dirt in the lettuce added some texture, but I’d rather have that than box lettuce. The wood fired pizza was also a good size, nice bake on the bottom and crust enough to hold it to eat. The Italian had enough toppings to weigh it down about half way through, but switched to a fork and knife and finished it all. Great selection of meats, ample cheese and the Calabrian chilies gave it a mild kick. Cleaned my plate and enjoyed a nice glass of wine for “dessert”. Several visits and I’ll continue to come back -
The food is soooooo good!
Too loud on patio.
Very good food, cocktails, and service. Only thing was the tables felt too close together to maintain safe social distance.
Not ready for business. I get really tired of under qualified Ill concerned staff parading as key management. With no care as to a customers experience. Everything being Covid fault is getting old.
The server was polite but clearly not empowered to change anything. Seated very near a frequently opening door from which cold air blew. When asked to substitute pasta for polenta, was told no as new chef won’t allow it. Manager was polite but also not able to make the customer right. Probably won’t be back.
The food was really good! My friend and I both ordered the steak sandwich, creme brûlée, and chocolate cake with peanut brittle. The steak was so tender and flavorful! Our waitress was extremely nice and attentive. So glad that we were able to return to Market Tavern!!
Overall everything good
For us portions were more than we could handle
We eat out three or four times a week our busy schedules demand it and when we visit the market Tavern in Dublin it is by far the best restaurant in the tri-Valley. Respectfully Dave Nelson
Food is great. Definitely not a cheaper meal, but a good one for sure. Service is great. Bussers and hosts are excellent along with wait staff.
Food was a bit over seasoned & way too much added salt.
Would be great if food was less salty.
The service was very good. I loved their cocktails.
Great service, very good food. Had lovely experience. Ate outside in patio area, socially distanced tables. Food was really good! Highly recommend!
Sat us right by the door, which wasn’t great.
Awesome experience. Great cocktails and servers were all super nice. Felix is an amazing bartender. Cheers to him!!
SF Bay Area ASTA Small Business Network Executive Board Meeting. Found it a wonderful experience
Oh dear. They appear to have lost their outstanding Manager. The food remains good to very good.
However, the Service has deteriorated markedly. Shy of tripping a waiter up as she rushes by to get her attention, service is non existent. I would describe as transactional. The waiter arrives at the table. No pleasantries. Requests your order amd then almost literally runs away....
This place is delicious! Craft cocktails and great service. We ended up ordering a bunch of appetizers so that we can taste a variety of their offerings. Meatballs, tacos, brussel sprouts and a salad. Loved the tacos, weird to say but they were delicious and fancy!
The place is really nice inside and even has a little market with wines, beers and already prepared food. It’s a true gem, so glad we finally visited.
Our lunch was destroyed by an obnoxious group of loud women about twenty feet from us, and no one from the staff told them to hold it down.
We had a nice waitress. The food was good. Would I go back...yes.
