   Our booking was taken, however when we arrived we were told it could not be fulfilled as the chef had quite the previous evening, despite condiment trays being displayed on every table.

   Food was nice but what I didn’t like was the sound of the music, it was too loud and not a proper music for a place to eat.

   Excellent food, was surprised to be given a standard knife as we were having Steak. The medium steak was cooked so well that the normal knife had no problem.

   This was a visit from a groupon voucher I got as a gift. Had a previous booking but it was cancelled by the restaurant, so although the voucher had expired they were ok to honour it. The voucher was for 2 steak meals and a bottle of wine. Unfortunately the Butcher was unable to deliver the steaks that day so an alternative was offered and starters and desert options given as compensation. We were also given an alternative drink as I was the only one having alcohol as my partner was driving. He got Alc Free Koppaberg but they only had one left so got as 2nd drink a large Fresh orange and lemonade. I had 2 lovely Blood Orange G&T's. The food was excellent, Haggis BonBon as starter, then I had a chicken Pasta dish really creamy garlicy tasty and partner had the Cajun Chicken Burger with chunky chips(chips amazing). For pud it was the Chocolate Brownie with pistachio sorbet. Everything cooked brilliantly. Our waiter went out of his way to be super helpful. I felt sorry for the whole place though as we were the only ones in. Made it nice and quiet, but no real ambiance for the restaurant though better if it had been busy. Overall great food great service. Definitely Reccommended

   A great meal with good food spoiled by the excessive delay in being served and time between courses. There was the best part of an hour after the starter before we had our main course.

   Lovely staff. Delicious food. Was busy with meals, but staff were attentive & very friendly. Thanks.

   Good service and food was tasty with big portions , only let down was it was practically empty so the ambiance lacked a bit . Other than that can’t fault it

    very welcoming as soon as we walked in, adjusted our drinks and the food was amazing, best steak I’ve had in a long time, and the service was magic, will definitely be planning a visit again!
