Honestly, I wanted to love this place. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and passionate. Unfortunately, the steak was undercooked, the risotto rice was partially raw/undercooked, and the pricing was outrageous for above average food. The clam chowder was excellent. At a steakhouse, your best thing can’t be seafood soup.

Everyone at the table, enjoyed their meal, except for my husband who ordered a porterhouse. He sent it back to the kitchen because it had mostly gristle. The next steak did as well - but not as much. The ribeye I had was tasty!

We had an exceptional Server that was extremely knowledgeable of all menu items and provided great guidance for our food choices. He has been with the restaurant for all but the first few months of its existence, he is passionate about the restaurant; a valuable team member for sure.

We had a fabulous meal at Market Steer. The food was great and service by Ian and the rest of the staff including the manager was fabulous. We had a very LOUD table there for an office party and the manager felt so bad about the noise that he actually comped a couple things for us. We will definitely be back. Noteworthy was the Caesar salad and the filet. Also loved the sauce flight.

Excellent service. Had a dinner reservation and was seated maybe 20 minutes later, wasn't a big deal to me but they bought us an appetizer. David, our server was excellent and answered all our questions. Food was excellent, fresh, hot, delicious. Excellent bar selection as well.

Meal was delicious from beginning to end. Started with filet mignon, seasoned and cooked to perfection and delicious whipped potatoes. Ended with lemon crème brûlée and hot chocolate for me and bread pudding and coffee for my husband. From the hostesses to the waitstaff, our every need was anticipated. It was so nice to be in a beautiful restaurant where quality of food and exceptional service go hand in hand. We will definitely eat there again.

We had a reservation but arrived a little early and they were able to seat us immediately. The service was excellent as was the food. The portions were very large but we were unable to finish them. The hostess introduced us to the chef whom was a wonderful person. The entire evening was delightful! Would definitely recommend.

Enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner of delicious steak. The food is melt in your mouth flavorful. The staff is professional and extremely attentive. The ambiance was relaxed. Already told several people to eat there. Loved it! Well done Market Steer Steakhouse!

Absolutely everything was great: Reservations, host desk, seating, servers, Food and ambiance. The 7 oz filet was one of the best I have eaten, other guests had the flat iron and ahi tuna, both well prepared. Salads were very good too, not overdressed. Market Steer continually hits it out of the park on all levels.

We had a fabulous time at the steakhouse. Everyone’s steak was cooked to perfection. Have the flight of sauces for the table to share created a unique experience. Topped that off with the table side s’mores - delicious and such fun. Totally recommend.

Amazing experience. The food was by far the best I have had in New Mexico. I suggest everyone get the bacon appetizer it will not disappoint. While the price may be up there, once you have your food and taste it you will see it will be worth it.

Service was dreadful from hello to goodbye. Steaks were not cooked to specification. Sides were fantastic, but that’s the only highlight. All other Santa Fe restaurants that we visited had great, friendly service. This was one of our worst fine dining steakhouse experiences we’ve had. Our first and last visit.

Way above the level of an ordinary steakhouse. The filet mignon was excellent, the flight of steak sauces was delicious and it was fun to taste all the different choices. Onion rings and crab dip are amazing. Side dishes to share are all good, we tried the creamed spinach, chile risotto, and the sautéed mushrooms. Bread pudding one of the best we’ve ever tasted. Service was impeccable. We were celebrating our friends’ marriage, and we were served champagne and a decorated dessert plate with “congratulations” written in chocolate. It was perfect.

Delicious date night dinner! Perfect for a special occasion. We loved everything we had and the server was very helpful for making our choices. Favorites were the Crab Dip, Ribeye, and Sauce Flight.

What an outstanding experience! The entire staff took such great care of us from the minute we walked in the door. You can tell that everyone from the cook's to the service staff takes pride in their work. I already booked my next reservation, can't wait to return!!

We had an incredible experience. It was my husbands birthday and they went above and beyond to make him feel special. The food was incredible as always and the service was exceptional. We love coming here and feel that it’s one of the best experiences in Santa Fe. The epitome of service and experience and the best steak! 10/10 recommend and will be back!

We chose Market Steer for our anniversary dinner. We had the most wonderful evening! The service was great. Everything was absolutely delicious! They had a great wine selection. The meal…from shrimp cocktail and filet to whipped potatoes and mac and jack, every bite was scrumptious! If you want an incredible meal in Santa Fe, Market Steer is sure to please!

We had some wonderful steaks, smoked bone marrow, and parmesan truffle fries last night after getting to meet Chef Crook at a recent tasting sponsored by the Santa Fe Cooking School. The food, intimate setting, and service is exceptional. I live in Santa Fe and this is my new favorite restaurant in town! Their passion for fine dining is evident and provides a delicious and memorable dining experience!

Ordered medium filet and it was completely raw except for thin sheared exterior. Now salt, no pepper, no spices. Staff were rude and only offered to cook it more, meanwhile the other food was ready
